I am an avid outdoor distance runner, year round..been wearing adizero tempo running shoes since the first prototype..the 7's are manufactured with better quality assurance than the 6's..toe box improved; however if I had any issue a tad more room would add to a perfect running shoe for a neutral runner who is light weight and loves resistance and feeling the ground as they stride.
I have read several reviews that state that these shoes fall apart easily and for me that could not be farther from the truth. I bought my first pair on a whim from the adidas outlet store as I was beginning to train for a marathon. I put over 100 miles on the first pair and them bought a second so that I could rotate them, thats how much I loved them. I have run on pavement, gravel, sand, and volcanic desert (in Aruba) and they still have most of the soles on both pairs. I never imagined that I would love these as much as I do, nor that they would hold up as well as they have. Despite how tough they are, I still think my favorite part of these shoes is that they have a very soft heel section. Class pair of shoes, adidas...now send me a free pair for the best review you have ever had. Regardless, I am buying a new pair next week.
Purchased these about 3 weeks ago, when i got them straight out of the box they already felt broken in. Really comfortable! The fit of the shoes are true to size but a little better to snug but if you want a little bit of toe room go up a size. Overall these shoes are one of the most comfortable shoes i have owned!
I owned three pairs of the Tempo 6. Love them! When I heard that Adidas made them even better with the Boost foam, I couldn't wait to try them. There are lots of changes from the 6 to the 7. There is no space under the left insole for a foot pod or mi tech. They run smaller and a little more narrow. The toe box was too small for me, so I had to return them. I'm hoping to find a pair in a store so I can see if the fit is right before I buy.
Super comfy but the sole is very bouncy and i could not imagine running in this shoe as every impact is sent straight back into my knees but for casual wearing they are great. (like a car with springs but no shock absorbers the ride is not very smooth) fit is spot on and they are breathable and quality is second to none. great casual shoes!
This has to be the lightest shoe I have ever worn. The shoe is half to full size small width was ok I am a medium and it was fine. I haven't had a chance to really work these out but it is coming and these ultra light shoes might not like it. The product is nice looking made of a light weight material that fits like a glove. The shoes look more like they are home as a street shoes than getting beaten on a 10K weekend run, and a daily 4 mile training shoe. We will see and then I would like to let you know. RAVEN4464
This is the most comfortable shoe I ever put on. It feels like you are wearing socks with a huge cushion on the bottom. They were about a half size too big so I returned them and got a half size smaller but they are awesome.
This was my first boost shoe and it lived up to my expectations. The cushioning is amazing and it really does feel like you're walking on a cloud or a marshmallow. You would think after awhile you would get used to the cushioning but it's like the cushioning is brand new, the shoe overall is very comfortable and the tech fit is really comfortable. It is almost like this shoe cant be beat. I had no problems will this shoe and it still is in brand new condition after wearing it for 6 months. One this is this is not a running shoe and I would not run in it. It is very durable but I think this shoe was made for more walking and casual wear. Thank you adidas!
Even though the Pure Boost line is under the Running Shoe category, I do NOT recommend using these for running. They don't have enough support for any type of running, unless it's running through a grocery store to pick up flour for your mom's super-secret chicken recipe. They are more of just a casual-wear shoe that look great with any outfit you pair it with, and are also REALLY comfortable. So again, if you are looking for a running shoe, I do not recommend these, if you still want an adidas shoe, look at the Ultra Boost runners. Overall, the shoe is extraordinary. Yes, the hype around boost is real, because these shoes are comfortable. It's like walking on clouds. If you're one who owns Roshes, I highly recommend giving these a go because the comfort and style is unmatched. The shoe isn't perfect though. Personally, I found the shoe to run around 1/2 a size too big. When compared to the original Pure Boost, I found myself in an 11 with those, but I found that the Pure Boost Chills fit me perfect in a 10.5. If you can, try them in-store first to make sure you have the perfect fit. The Pure Boost Chill is essentially a combination of the Pure Boost and Pure Boost 2, which is why I liked it so much. It had the styling that I love about the Pure Boost, but the added benefits of the Pure Boost 2 (new tongue and more heel support). They're all great shoes, it just comes down to personal preference.
Sizing is off by about an entire size, maybe even just a half. Usually a size 10.5 due to a wide foot, however I ordered a size 10.5 on the SL Loops and they are a little big, so I ordered these in a size 10 thinking they would fit just right, but they were way too small. Shipped them back, didn't reorder. Still a really nice looking shoe though.
I'm a size 7.5 US and due to the reviews I ordered a half size up (8 US) . They fit perfectly without socks and a little tight with ankle socks. Great slip on design, very lightweight and comfortable.
On my first run I thought I had made a mistake with these as they felt quite unresponsive, however a few runs in and they have become a little softer and I love them. I would say these are a short distance shoe though as there is not enough cushioning for me to do a half marathon and beyond, I'll be sticking to my Sequence Boost for that! Now the negative, the quality of the shoe for £95 is disappointing. I had to send the first pair back as one shoe had a noticeably higher profile than the other and it looked like it had been made last thing on a Friday! Second pair are better, still have imperfect stitching and the pair don't match in profile, but they are better. So all in all a good performing shoe, just watch out for the quality issues, and I had to size up by half a size to give a bit more room in the toe box.
It has been my first ever pair of Boost shoes and they feel like walking with marshmallows on your feet. Pros: - Light weight. - Boost Sole. - Keeps your feet chill. Cons: - The sole is too fine to do any major running in them if you want to get a new pair every 70 miles. Overall: These would be great in the gym or just walking about. For running i don't see it much of a "running shoe".
Just got the Pure Boost Chill and I have to say, these are amazing! I have worn several other shoes including the Ultra Boost, Supernova Glide, and Springblade, and these are definitely the most cushioned and comfortable so far. Right out of the box, they already look great! Other models I have bought have had glue marks or imperfections, but these looked perfect! Upon trying them on, I was very impressed with the fit. Didn't even need to adjust the laces or anything. They just fit right and true to size with a comfortable width. They have so much Boost cushioning! You can really feel it especially under the heel and midfoot. The forefoot is a bit lower, but it is still very cushioned. Other shoes feel like you are walking on cement in comparison. These are also incredibly light considering how much cushioning they have. In terms of support, they are more on the light flexible side so they are not as sturdy as say a Supernova, but they have enough support for casual running and everyday wear. The insole is very thin and attached to the Boost sole inside and it has openings so you can actually see the Boost material. I was worried, the insole might not be thick enough, but upon wearing the, it feels just like a normal insole. The sole is my only concern in terms of durability because it seems like the way it is designed, it may wear down fast, but only time will tell. Overall I would highly recommend the Pure Boost Chill for anyone looking for the most cushioned and comfortable shoe available. I even recommend it over the Ultra Boost. They got it right with this one!
I am normally a 12 in adidas but I saw the reviews that said to size up so I ordered a 12.5. That was too small and when I sized up to a 13 they were still too tight. I ended up returning all of them and purchasing a different shoe entirely.
I went to an adidas store to try these on after reading all of the rave reviews about the boost.. and I have to agree with the general consensus: these are the most comfortable shoes I have ever worn. Commuting in the city is a breeze when you have clouds strapped to your feet. I can't recommend the boost line enough, do yourself a favor and go try some on. You'll be hooked after just one step.
I got these shoes at the Chicago Adidas store in April. I played a whole season of tennis in them and wear them everyday to school and they are still going strong. I have owned many pairs of free runs and even roshes but nothing compares to these. I love them and definitely worth the money.
First of all, this is my very first Boost shoe and I must say they did NOT disappoint! The boost technology makes it feel like you are bouncing as you run. I've tried on the pure boost and the ultra boost before and I loved them so I wanted to get something different. I ended up getting these because I wanted a runner and casual shoe in one. They look and feel great on feet! Things to take note of though is that the boost on these shoes is a bit less than the pure and ultra boost... I would suspect this just because this shoe seems to focus more on minimalist running as opposed to something bulky or a light jog. Another thing to point out that is a BIG deal is sizing. These shoes hug very tightly. I am generally a 9 or a 9.5 (more with 9 though) and even with the 9.5 order, since I read the reviews, it still seems a hair bit small. It's not enough for me to return them but if I went with 10, I'm pretty sure I wouldn't have any problems. Overall, excellent shoes! I am a HUGE Adidas fan, and now I can say I am a HUGE boost fan!
I had a pair of slip on Superstars, that I loved and have missed for over 10 years. Adidas have finally made a pair but they are hard to get on. I would suggest getting a half or even a size larger so you can get them on with socks.
Arguably the most comfortable shoe I have ever worn, but not only that, they are stylish too. Adidas Boost is clearly the market leader in this particular field and I highly recommend it to everyone who is looking for the total package from their choice of sneaker.
These are a YES. Comfort and simple style came together in one. The boost does die down after wearing them a bit but I wouldn't hesitate to buy another pair when it's done. Going up a half size wouldn't hurt either, which is what I did and it fit better.
Very comfy with super soft cushioning and outer material. I've bought them for casual wear during the summer and it was good choice because it looks great with jeans, track pants and shorts. I'm standard size 10 UK and in my opinion these trainers could be for 2 - 3 milimitres longer. Also I would say it's overpriced slightly.
Fit very well, i wear them for every day use and they have held up well, they are the comfiest shoes that I have ever purchased and would definitely recommend them to anyone who wants to use them for daily use
I purchased a pair of these a week ago from footlocker, they are extremely comfy but the build quality is not what I expected. The sponge/foam has split at the front which has disappointed me as I could have bought a better quality shoe. Not worth paying £99
The pure boost technology is awesome It absorbs the energy from the moment you plant your foot in the ground I take the shoes to soccer practice and it is comfortable especially a hard day in practice I rea recommend it for athletes.
