I loved this product a lot. I started running faster and my moves were more clear. These boots help and my team win games and make perfect plays. If you are looking for a new pair of boots these are the pair!
Really love the Pioneer colorway. I tried it on at adidas store and instantly bought it. It looked great and felt great. Much better looking in person. The hot colorway of the NMDs were sold out too quick before I had chance and I liked wearing basketball shoes anyway
Really Good, if you have it, you can tell Harden put effort and time into designing into this shoe. Traction loses it in about 3-5 plays but a single wipe gets it back in the game. I'm pretty sure cushion is a good point in this shoe since it's a Low. Most Low don't have great cushion, but this one seems to do the job. Fit was so surprising to me. Fits well for wide footers. Narrower footers beware though, I went true to size. Lockdown is very good, these shoe won't fly in the air. Looks are fire. Feels heavy in the hand but I didn't mind it at all on my foot. Some notes on durability: This shoe so far doesn't have major problems, breaking in takes some days. If you hit the three stripes on the back of the shoe on something hard, it will scrap easy, so if you want it to look good and untouch, beware of that. Otherwise, I would say best Guard shoe to buy for 2016/2017. Hopefully Harden's next shoes will be just as good as the Harden 1.
Harden Vol. 1's are the best basketball shoes on the market. Perfect for guards, traction on point, cushioning like your walking on clouds, court feel perfect and looks absolute fire. Great purchase and the perfect basketball shoe to date.
this boot is very suitable for games and just messing around. the pure controll around the boot is fantstic . the comfort is unbelivable vven tho i bought it size 6 for my son its exellent ill buy a pair of my own
Because when I played in these I realised me striking ability was so much better and the accuracy was impressive I recommend these to midfielders or strikers who whant a bigger stricking area on the boot but the only problem is that it takes a while to brake in as the back rubs on your feet
I heard great things about these shoes and was looking forward to wearing them! However I'm 8.5 and that size was too large for me. The shoes were also quite wide without any arch support. So unfortunately I had to return them...
Comfortable, Good to hoop in, supports bigger feet (In width), Overall the look and the feel are a lot better than what I was expecting. The only problem in my opinion is whatever is glued or sealed onto the shoes is clearly done so and some threads stick out from the stitching on the inside.
Credit to adidas for finding new ways to use boost and give people a different feel in their kicks. Harden vol. 1's are less mushy in the heel and with the boost only exposed on the lateral side near the ball of your foot, you get a really comfortable almost bouncy feel right under the ball of your foot. Upper is really nice but does need to be broken in, but it's well worth it as this is a fantastic low top trainer.
At 1st I told myself that I was just going to purchase 1 pair of Harden Vol.1's & I copped the "Imma Be a Star's". It was a tough choice picking between the 2 versions. Once I received them I was so impressed that I had to get the "Away" Colourway too (so much for getting 1 pair lol). There's absolutely nothing I would change about this shoe. Aesthetically it looks dope, fits like a glove & on the performance end it's all thumbs up! Traction is great, cushioning is great & my feet feel well contained. As I said before, the 3 stripe brand is killing it this year R.I.P. other brands!!
Been loving these for ball, something I haven't said about a pair of hoops kicks for years. For me they work great in my sneaker TTS which usually runs half a size larger than what I wear for dress shoes. My feet are semi-wide, so the extra toe box room for me is awesome compared to other shoes I've balled in where they traditionally run more narrow. The best thing I love about the shoe is how stable it is. It also has a great combination and balance of impact protection, and court feel. Usually you get too much of one or the other, so this really does the trick perfectly for me. My only complaint are about the laces. I think going with a flat lace setup would make these easier to lace up and tighten overall.
I love these shoes! I got them based on a reccomendation by a friend and I'm glad I did. i didn't feel like I had to break them in like I do with all of the other shoes I've ever gotten. they fit perfectly and were extremely comfortable right off the bat! I wish they had more colors to choose from because I would definitely get another pair if they had a blue/green or a purple option.
Took an L on the yeezys so I copped these as a consolation prize...safe to say I'm not disappointed. Boost cushioning is thinner than the ultra boost but it is still really responsive and comfortable. The Xeno hit on the back is SICK! Super reflective. Overall, this shoe is really dope, and might be one of my favorite pickups of 2016. I say go true to size on this pair, but you could be different. Only complaint is that something in the tongue area squeaks a little when I walk. Not a big deal and will probably go away when I break them in more, but just something to know.
If you haven't played in any full length boost yet, this is by far the thinnest set up. It's not bad by any means, as this will provide Court feel and impact protection. You know what they say #boostislife. As for the sizing, narrow footers highly recommend going .5 size down, as they fit quite long. But if you can't try these instores just go with your regular size just to be safe. I went with .5 size down and they fit likey normal size. Traction wise expect a lot of wipings in a dusty court, (that goes for any shoe) the traction was designed after hardens foot map. Although not everyone plays like Harden. The traction is still solid. Overall I've put in a lot of hours in these shoes and would reccomend it, the shoe it self is a guard to forward orientated shoe.
This is a very comfortable shoe right out of the box. I am usually a size 7 in men's but went a half size smaller because the I needed to replace my adi5 and went with the same size. Perfect. I wear ankle braces and they fit well within the shoe. The material is very nice but will be thicker than synthetic (with which I play outdoors), so touch might be slightly skewed but then again, everyone's technical ability varies, etc.. The only caveat I have is if they were to swap the soles for the $70 pair; the bottoms on these are okay, but I think there might be less of a possibility of slipping if the soles were different. I have no real complaints - yet. I play indoor 3-5 days/week and we shall see how long they stay intact. *Hint for Adidas: I know more people would be inclined to buy these if they were in the original black & white colors.*
I just recived mine in the mail... absolutely love them! They look as if they're poor quality but they are not! I suggest them. Very tight on your foot with true to size. Definitely not going to come off my foot. No need for shoe horn either. They go on just like the pure agilities or the chaos's.... well worth the price
It is comfortable and has good traction. I don't know if it is because they are new, but when I run in them they will sometimes squeak and there will be a slight popping sound by the toes. Also I ordered these a half size smaller than my original shoes, but they are pretty much the same size, so I recommend getting a smaller pair than normal. Good shoe overall.
Really enjoying the Harden Volume 1s, they look really smart for playing ball or casual wear, they have a great build quality, great materials used throughout, lovely and padded at the heel and ankle, full length boost is awesome as always but it doesn't sacrifice court feel, but still gives that boost impact protection #boostislife the leather toecap is genius, added protection and it is real premium quality leather, I thought the lockdown was very good, no heel slippage for me, the way the lacing is set up it really pulls your foot into the shoe, takes a little breaking in but not to much and it's never uncomfortable, but after a few wears it really is amazing comfort, traction is amazing as all Adidas shoes have been recently, really sticky/tacky rubber that sticks to the floor for those quick cuts. Another winning shoe from Adidas, they really are on top of their game right now, you take any Adidas model hoop sneaker and you won't be dissapointed, personally I love them all and will continue to purchase various colours of upcoming shoes. Amazing as always Adidas, well done!!
The cleats function perfectly and are very comfortable but the outsole paint comes off way too easy. I have worn them in six training sessions and the paint is already chipping much more than i would like.
Again my son love, love, loves these boots. We find adidas comes up larger than other sock boots(brand not allowed to not mentioned) However if you have other adidas shoes these can be used as a reference. Scored 2 goals on first use and can be used on 3 and 4g AG unlike other brands of sock boots.
My son loves these boots; well worthwhile money. Well made but come up quite small, so size up either half a size or a full size. I sized up a full size for him and they're perfect, with extra growth room too. Envy of all his peers on the pitch!
First of all, it's a beautiful shoe. Up close, it is better than you ever thought it would be. The Boost on these make it feel like your bouncing on a trampline. They lace up as tight as you want without hurting your feet. And the grip on these is terrific. Once you break them in, they feel like an extension of your feet.
Traction- A1, no slipping at all Support- A1, locked in, best support I've experienced in a shoe Size- runs a little large, some may want to go down half a size Cushion- can definitely feel the boost in the heal, not so much the forefoot. If you have bad knees, I suggest you look at the crazy explosive. Otherwise it has just enough impact protection. Material- materials on outside seem stiff, but you can't tell when wearing them because there is so much cushion on the inside. The toe cap is leather which is awesome too, nice to finally get real leather on a shoe. Overall? Best shoe for guards, bigger guys may want to look elsewhere for a more cushioned ride. My favorite Adidas basketball shoe so far, and as they say, boost is life!
At the beginning, I loved wearing them so much. They are perfect except the fact that they don't last long. I used wear them and now after couple months of usage, the shoes started to tear on the bottom and the fabric isn't durable. For $180, I expect to have a shoe for at least a year!
Great guard shoes. Great traction. Better than average Bounce protection. Easy to get dust off the shoe. subpar boost/explosive. Feels very light. Great Great guard shoes if you need traction and are doing some crosses and spins other wise I would recommend the Crazyexplosives
