Not sure why everyone seems to dislike these shoes. They are very comfortable straight away.They have good stability and are very lightweight and have a comfortable cushioned feeling. I have long narrow, flat feet and they seem to have been made for them! It is difficult to find a lightweight shoe that has the right amount of stability. To me, they are more comfortable than the previous Barricade. I also like the new sleeker more flattering look. Overall I am really happy with these shoes, the only thing that could be better is that they could be a little more breathable.

i recently got these shoes and overall im happy with them. i think they are a bit pricey considering there is nothing fantastic about them. they are kinda hard to move in(are REALLY stiff), but maybe they need to be broken in more. The soles or watever you call them are really hard and arnt cushiony like other tennis shoes ive worn, but its not like they hurt. on the plus side, they are fairly cute and give me alot of stability(which i need because im a klutz!) i probably would recommend these to a friend though, since there is nothing i hate about them.:)

have had three generations of barricades and these are the only ones i've actually had to return to the store, are extremely flat and hurt my feet, wish they had put in as much effort into these as they did on the mens, and actually look cheap and low quality

Was disapointed to see they changed the Barricade, but ordered them anyway to give them a chance. For one thing I hate white court shoes, I love the more colored ones, even thought of getting them custom made but wanted to wait to see the change, and the custom ones offer very little choice of color. Taking the shoe out of the box they just look totally different , they look very cheap made, not nearly as stable, and a lot more narrow.Most likely won't be able to wear thick socks for added cusion I need unless I send them back for a larger pair. I found a shoe that worked great and loved the colors , it made there shoes stand out!! Now they look like everyones white boring shoe, sure there is a liitle color but not what it use to be. Why change something that was working? Just add another type of shoe and leave your best selling shoe alone. Why aren't the mens changed?They still have basically the same shoe, and lots of colors!! Haven't played in them yet but just trying them on they may have to be returned, now I am thinking about trying another brand. I was so happy with the other model , Sure you needed to break them in but the stablity was like no other shoe!! Even a little scared to try these for all the runnning I do on a court!! I have a high arch so I need lots of stability, and my feet are very narrow and these are narrow even on my feet. I finally found a shoe that worked, and it got changed well maybe I will have to change too!!!

I had the blue and white Barricade 6.0s and loved them. They were durable and had a lot of support. I was already upset when I went onto this website to find that all of the cute colors from the previous barricades were replaced with boring white, except for the purple and orange barricades. I ordered them and they simply looked cheap. I wore a massive hole through the toe area after only two months.

i have 3 (different color) pairs of these shoes and they are the most comfortable shoes for me. my feet are narrow and i like light shoes. not sure how long they will last but i change my shoes every 2-3 months, so this is not a big issue for me. no break in period required. so far, these are the best shoes for me. i don't like the previous version of barricades, they were too heavy for me.

I agree with the review before mine. I really loved my barricades and bought 3 pairs. I went recently to purchase another pair and looking forward to a new color and I was not only disappointed with the color but they have changed the whole shoe. They are not as comfortable as the other ones.
Please bring back the other barricades!! please!!
