Rated 5 out of 5 by Love these shoes I haven't worn an Adidas shoe for YEARS. Don't know why I stopped but when I ran my marathon and realized SEVERAL toenails turned black, I knew it was time for a change. I'm so glad I went back to my Adidas roots: these shoes are incredibly comfortable and roomy in the toe box. I am a "chi runner" that's not ready to make the total switch to barefoot running. These shoes give lots of cushion in the mid-foot and allow you to feel the surface below your feet...I honestly think my stride will improve while wearing these because I can (for the first time) feel my "toe off." Other shoes I have worn: Brooks Glycerin 11, Saucony Kinvara 4, Saucony Glide. Miles / week: 30-35. December 11, 2013
Rated 5 out of 5 by This is my first time trying Adidas. I wanted to see what the boost technology was all about but wanted a more heavier trainer which is why I did not try the energy boost. These guys came along and let me tell you...they are awesome! Hands down the best shoes I have ever ran in. I run around 50 miles a week and they get me through every training run and workout. The fit of the shoe was a bit loose for me, but I like my shoes to feel snug so I would say they are true to size but if you like a snug feeling order a half size down. Anyone looking for a high mileage durable trainer this is it! February 10, 2014
Rated 4 out of 5 by Great shoes I have been running with the SuperNova Glide 3s for years, but the Glide 4 and 5 felt awful when I tried them on so I never purchased them. These, on the other hand, are great. They feel great on and feel great during a run. The only problem, though, is that the size runs big. Fortunately I had read other on-line reviews about the shoe sizes so ordered half a size smaller than I usually run with. They still feel a little big and I'm wondering if I could have gone a whole size smaller. Definitely try them on before buying, or if you're ordering on-line go 1/2 to full size smaller. I plan on buying another pair because I'm so happy with them! April 26, 2014
Rated 4 out of 5 by Love the shoe...not the color choices I love the comfort. They keep my ankle right over my foot and offer great cushioning. Liked them so much, I ordered a 2nd custom pair because the only thing I don't love is the women's color choices (that's why the 4 and not 5 star rating.) Super dull and boring grays or way out there yellow, which is what I settled on purchasing. Wanted the blue the men's shoe offers, but I would need a Men's 6, and the smallest is 6.5. So a bit bummed to have to pay $20 extra dollars and also not be eligible for free shipping on the custom order just to get the blue color offered but only to men! One other good thing...the size equivalency chart provided comparing the New Balance shoe I was wearing to the Supernova Glide 6 was spot on! April 28, 2014
Rated 5 out of 5 by Great for h.i.i.t training I take a strenuous h.i.i.t training class 2x per week. It is such a pain to find a good athletic shoe that provides stability for up, down, forward, back and lateral movement that also provides shock absorption. And it has to look good, and not be too bulky. This shoe is it!!! I feel like I'm pushing off a springboard and my feet feel like they are landing on a small cushion when I do the plyometric moves. Adidas usually always runs big. I normally wear a 7 or 7.5. This shoe I'm a 6.5. I have been wearing Adidas for the past couple years. Formerly the mega bounce and micro bounce shoes, which were so awesome and lasted me about a year. Adidas, pls think about bringing back the megabounce or something like it. January 12, 2014
Rated 5 out of 5 by Awesome epic shoes. I was previously wearing a super flexible pair of Nike's which I thought were super comfy, and then after a few hours of walking my feet would start to hurt. I went to a running store where they recommended these shoes - it was absolute culture shock to me - these shoes are super cushiony while providing the support my feet needed. Because they were so different they took a few weeks to get used to, but now that I'm used to them I absolutely love them. Highly recommend! My feet have never been happier! I agree with other reviewers that they run a little big - I usually wear 8 1/2 -9 and an 8 is a good fit for me. I have a grey and glacial blue pair and I love the color combination. August 15, 2014
Rated 5 out of 5 by Love the Boost!!! I am training for a marathon and hurt my knee wearing less cushioned shoes. I chose the supernova glide boost 6 after chatting on the Adidas website. There weren't a lot of choices for color, unless you go for a customized version but I really liked the yellow. It is as promised one of a kind. My feet, knees and hips feel much better with less pain and better endurance. I attribute part of this to the shoes and partly the training. I bought half a size larger as I was getting blisters in my last shoes. These are roomy and that's how I like them. Towards the end of the training my foot would start rolling as I got tired, not as much since the boost. I got what I wanted- great looking shoes that perform as promised. I will keep buying these for future. June 14, 2014
Rated 5 out of 5 by So cute and comfortable I was in the market for new running shoes recently and thought I might buy something other than Adidas for once (my last 3 pairs have all been Adidas). After lots of research and trying on different shoes I realized that "if ain't broke, don't fix it", and went for another pair of Adidas. Adidas no longer makes my old standbys (Cushion Response) so I decided to give these a try and I have not been disappointed. These shoes are so comfortable I don't want to take them off. I've been struggling with some plantar fasciitis and when I wear these shoes I have absolutely zero pain in the affected foot. They are lightweight yet very cushiony and are a joy to run and train on. They are also supre cute shoes and I love the color. I'm very tempted to buy a back-up pair now, just in case Adidas decides to change them before I'm ready for a new pair. I highly recommend these shoes and will continue to buy Adidas running shoes as long as they continue to treat me as well as they have in the past. March 12, 2014
Rated 1 out of 5 by Do not buy this shoe I have been wearing Supernova Glides for years and have absolutely loved them. I bought the Glide 6 expecting more of the same. Unfortunately, the quality of the shoe's construction has decreased significantly. The top of the shoe around the toes is no longer stitched but, instead, glued. Due to injury, I have only been using the shoes for walking and interval training and have owned them for four months. But, there is already a hole in the mesh lining above my first toe. I am very disappointed and will be looking for a new brand of shoe. May 14, 2014
Rated 5 out of 5 by Not just for running! This is my first pair of adidas. I LOVE these shoes. Wow! I do high intensity gym workouts including "Insanity" at my local gym, 3+times a week. Lots of jumping sets! My ankles, feet and knees are very grateful for the Boost technology! I can put more into the workout without suffering the next day. I highly recommend Boost shoes!!
