Rated 5 out of 5 by Love these shoes I haven't worn an Adidas shoe for YEARS. Don't know why I stopped but when I ran my marathon and realized SEVERAL toenails turned black, I knew it was time for a change. I'm so glad I went back to my Adidas roots: these shoes are incredibly comfortable and roomy in the toe box. I am a "chi runner" that's not ready to make the total switch to barefoot running. These shoes give lots of cushion in the mid-foot and allow you to feel the surface below your feet...I honestly think my stride will improve while wearing these because I can (for the first time) feel my "toe off." Other shoes I have worn: Brooks Glycerin 11, Saucony Kinvara 4, Saucony Glide. Miles / week: 30-35. December 11, 2013
Rated 5 out of 5 by This is my first time trying Adidas. I wanted to see what the boost technology was all about but wanted a more heavier trainer which is why I did not try the energy boost. These guys came along and let me tell you...they are awesome! Hands down the best shoes I have ever ran in. I run around 50 miles a week and they get me through every training run and workout. The fit of the shoe was a bit loose for me, but I like my shoes to feel snug so I would say they are true to size but if you like a snug feeling order a half size down. Anyone looking for a high mileage durable trainer this is it! February 10, 2014
Rated 5 out of 5 by Great for h.i.i.t training I take a strenuous h.i.i.t training class 2x per week. It is such a pain to find a good athletic shoe that provides stability for up, down, forward, back and lateral movement that also provides shock absorption. And it has to look good, and not be too bulky. This shoe is it!!! I feel like I'm pushing off a springboard and my feet feel like they are landing on a small cushion when I do the plyometric moves. Adidas usually always runs big. I normally wear a 7 or 7.5. This shoe I'm a 6.5. I have been wearing Adidas for the past couple years. Formerly the mega bounce and micro bounce shoes, which were so awesome and lasted me about a year. Adidas, pls think about bringing back the megabounce or something like it. January 12, 2014
Rated 5 out of 5 by So cute and comfortable I was in the market for new running shoes recently and thought I might buy something other than Adidas for once (my last 3 pairs have all been Adidas). After lots of research and trying on different shoes I realized that "if ain't broke, don't fix it", and went for another pair of Adidas. Adidas no longer makes my old standbys (Cushion Response) so I decided to give these a try and I have not been disappointed. These shoes are so comfortable I don't want to take them off. I've been struggling with some plantar fasciitis and when I wear these shoes I have absolutely zero pain in the affected foot. They are lightweight yet very cushiony and are a joy to run and train on. They are also supre cute shoes and I love the color. I'm very tempted to buy a back-up pair now, just in case Adidas decides to change them before I'm ready for a new pair. I highly recommend these shoes and will continue to buy Adidas running shoes as long as they continue to treat me as well as they have in the past. March 12, 2014
Rated 3 out of 5 by Heed Sizing from other Reviewer's better than Thou I read the sizing cautions about a 'little big.' I wear a 8.5, 9. So I chose a 8.5. My first time wearing them walking around Lake Tahoe, my left foot (the smaller one), I ended up bleeding on the back of my ankle from the repeated rubbing up and down. I really wish I would have gone with the 8. Otherwise...they are very PRETTY. I love them aesthetically, I received double takes, compliments. I would recommend definitely 1/2 size smaller. Rated 5 out of 5 by No more foot pain These shoes were recommened to me by a runners shoe store that took the time to watch me on the treadmill. I was having major problems with painful arches. Tried these shoes and I could finally walk again with no pain. Bought the black and pink ones then a few weeks later, got the grey ones. These are pricey but well worth the money. I am not a runner but walk and exercise every day. April 17, 2014
Rated 5 out of 5 by Great Running Shoe I love these shoes!! You get the best of both worlds: a highly cushioned trainer with Boost cushioning and the responsiveness of a racing flat. They are a great go-to shoe for any racing distance ! December 12, 2013
Rated 3 out of 5 by ok It is a good shoe but the toe box is narrower which was one of the features I liked about the previous glide 5. January 8, 2014
Rated 3 out of 5 by boost-ish After 500 miles in the Energy Boost, I opted to try the Glide Boost to have a more 'winter friendly' upper. While the upper in the Glide has proven to be much more winter friendly and water tolerant, there seems to be a dead spot in the forefoot compared to the Energy Boost. I think the ultimate shoe is a hybrid of the Energy Boost and Glide Boost, the full Boost mid-sole with a bit more of a structured and all-weather friendly upper. The shoe runs on the big side. Rated 5 out of 5 by Helps with my plantar fasciitis I have been having trouble with plantar fasciitis, and this shoe has helped reduce my pain greatly. In addition to running in them, I also wear them throughout the day and they are wonderful. I will definitely buy another pair. April 16, 2014
Rated 3 out of 5 by Surprised by the color The shoes are described as metallic silver/grey but they are actually purple. I like purple, but not this much and not for shoes. Disappointed in not getting what I thought I was getting, but the shoes are comfortable and supportive so I am keeping them. Adidas, please change the description to lavender!! December 27, 2013
Rated 5 out of 5 by Finally! I've finally found the right shoe for me! After a lisfranc injury on my right foot and a fractured 2nd metatarsal on my left foot, I've had problems finding a shoe that I can comfortably wear. The Boost technology and the Torsion System are a major contributor to a comfortable fit without being too "cushy", stiff, or "clunky". Love the toebox...not too confining and I'm able to splay the toes. The fit is spot on. As an overpronater, I find these shoes give great support and haven't yet had to use my orthotics-keeps my feet greatly aligned but not restricted-feeling. The mid-foot strike is not painful anymore with these shoes, either...woohoo. The beatheable mesh keeps the feet comfortable in warm and cool conditions and I really appreciate the one-piece construction. Haven't yet run in them, but the brisk (almost running) gait is not painful anymore.Love the color (Glow), too! Will get another pair as a back-up. Thanks for such a wonderful shoe! March 29, 2014
Rated 5 out of 5 by satisfied I have been ordering my sneakers from Adidas for a long time. I have NEVER been dissatisfied except ONCE. They were made of Gore-Tex and were rubbery and the tongue was sewed into the shoe and made them hard to put on and take off. I have a small foot and can usually find the style I want in my five and a half foot size. March 29, 2014
Rated 5 out of 5 by great shoe Saw this shoe in Runners World and while I rarely order shoes online I did. Love the shoe, it is very comfortable and great support too. Online ordering and communication was fabulous. Adidas let me know where my shoes were every step of the way. March 5, 2014
Rated 5 out of 5 by Went back and bought another pair!! Where have these been all my life?! Now when I run, I stop because Im tired not because my feet are hurting me. I went back to the running store and bought another pair because when these wear out the next pair would have a lot to live up to!!! April 3, 2014
Rated 5 out of 5 by Must have I have a slightly wide foot. These shoes have good toe room. Offer great cushion and support. And aren't too heavy. Enjoying them. April 5, 2014
Rated 5 out of 5 by Great shoe to own Very light well made running shoe Color was slightly different than online pic but well worth the investment. March 9, 2014
