These sneakers are everything the co said they would be I'm not a strong runner or a runner at all but the time I'm in these shoes is like walking on clouds no blisters no uncomfortable material and they are breathable which I need! If you do run and need to just step in and go I recommend these. They fit smug yet loose and the padding for soles awesome. I don't usually spend this amount of money on shoes but with spring around the corner and some weight I need to lose I wasn't worth it to buy cheezy sneaks. Rated 4 out of 5 by Great improvements from 4 I have been running in Supernova Glides (or prior versions) since they originated and the 4s did not work for me. I did a Brooks Ghost and a couple of other nonpreferred Adidas models while waiting for an update. The 5 is back to standard, other than the inner padding does not support sockless running for me, as prior versions did (too much chafing). The running store in town told me it's an anomaly to expect a sockless running shoe, so I am reluctantly wearing anklets. I like the bold blue color and am always glad that Adidas offers women's shoes in some alternative to girly shades. January 25, 2013
Rated 1 out of 5 by New design hurts my feet This shoe has something new that previous Addias shoes didn't have. That is the part of the overlay that "holds" the shoes laces closest to the toes. Previous Addias shoes had a very small (like 1/2 inch) piece, while these new shoes have a piece there that is almost two inches. It circles the area where the two laces go in. This caused immediate discomfort when I put on the shoes and I had to return them. I'm devastated by this "new difference" because I've been wearing Addias shoes for 20 years and they have been terrific. I looked online and it appears that many of the new shoes have this "new difference". What a drag! I guess Addias has a new design that will not work for me. February 4, 2013
Rated 3 out of 5 by I only buy Adidas but... I usually only ever buy Adidas. The earlier versions of these supernova glide shoes are AWESOME! I love them! Therefore I was pumped to get a new pair. But I was very disappointed. They do fit my feet well, but they have none of the springiness and forward motion that I usually associate with Adidas and my previous purchases. Typically when I pop on a new pair of this type and brand of shoe, I'm inspired to just start running; these had no magic. And I even think they feel a little heavier. Disappointing. February 2, 2013
Rated 5 out of 5 by Great improvement Finally! These are much closer to the Glide 2 or 3. The Glide 4 was not at all what I'm so used to with Adidas and hurt the top of my feet, but the 5 finally has it right again. The toe box is wide with a narrow heel, and finally back to a shoe tongue that has enough padding without rubbing or pinching. Very comfortable and padded just right. January 28, 2013

I am more used to having a harder foundation of support for my flat feet, but I have not had shoes with this much shock resistance EVER!! I highly recommend them!! January 30, 2013

Rated 2 out of 5 by Disappointed I've been a huge Supernova fan. I've gone through 4 pairs of the Supernova 4s while training for multiple races of varying distances (5ks-marathon) without one single pain. As soon as I got the 5s I knew I wasn't a fan of the update. The lowered ankle support does cut down on some rubbing; however, takes away a lot of ankle support. I find my heel moving around too much and already am combating some aches and pains that weren't there before. Lastly, the 5s look cheap although the color selection is better. March 5, 2013
Rated 5 out of 5 by Light, light, light! I hemmed and hawed over buying new shoes since I could no longer find my favorite Adidas Response Trails anywhere. After reading several reviews, I finally hit the "buy" button and and am very glad I did. From the second I put them on they were very comfortable and so very light! They feel slightly too snug on my right foot but I think that will stretch out after a few good workouts. February 26, 2013
Rated 1 out of 5 by Why?! Adidas, why change a great thing (Supernova Glide 4)! This shoe has gone through some evolutions, with the 4 being the best! Supernova 5 fits much bigger. My foot slid all over the place in this shoe. Thank goodness no blisters on my 9 mile run, but for sure toe soreness due to foot falling into toe bed. Not happy. Looking all over for a year's worth of Glide 4 in my size. I hope next year's model is better. If not, I will have to find another shoe. April 14, 2013

Rated 4 out of 5 by daily walker I really like my Glide 5 shoes. They fit well, and I had no problems breaking them in, in fact I just put them on and walked. The only negative about the shoe is the shoelaces, no matter what I have to start over every day to lace them, and they come untied at least once in my four mile walk. I have worn Supernova Glide shoes for years and have not had this problem in the past. However the positives of this shoe definately outweigh the negatives. March 1, 2013

The fit quite similar to the Supernova 4s, but the space in the heel is just slightly bigger - not a problem if the shoes are properly laced. I am recovering from a bone bruise in my talus (ankle) bone. These shoes offer fantastic stability and support. I wear Superfeet in almost all my shoes and the inserts fit very well in these shoes. I wear these shoes for physical therapy, working with a trainer, and running errands. I will be purchasing a second pair of these shoes soon! May 11, 2013

I went for one 4mile run (not really a runner, was just a nice day and I walked most of it) and wore them to work (I'm an OT in a hospital- lot of power walking). I tried them on in a store and really enjoyed the feel. they didn't have the color i wanted so i bought the correct color online but returned when they began to rip. March 22, 2013

Less than a week later the rubbery stuff covering the toe of the shoe (on both shoes) started separating from the fabric. Unfortunately, I have already thrown away my receipt or I would have returned the shoes and gotten my money back. I've never had this kind of problem with Adidas shoes before. May 28, 2013

I had to switch to something else that has worked for me several years. I don't understand why shoe companies get a good thing going and then stop it. May 14, 2013
