Lightweight arch support that allows the forefoot and rearfoot to move independently for better surface adaptation and stability. The TORSION® SYSTEM is fully engineered and provides a unique transition from heel to toe for both female and male footwear products.

Another review mentions that I am waiting for a newer version of my favorite Adidas. In the meantime, I tried the Adizero Tempo, which I liked quite a bit for summer. I tried the Marathon 10 tonight as another replacement and liked the results (I felt FAST!). I wear heels during the day (bad, I know) and have relatively flat arches and prefer the Supernova Glide's cushion for a daily 3 1/2 mile gig. Even though it should not matter, the blue and grey color scheme rocks! I had some blisters, yet that is expected with a new model of shoe. I will keep the Marathon in mind indefinitely as a longer-distance backup to a daily forefoot-cushioned runner.

Rated 5 out of 5Â by birds of a feather I've worn Adidas since 1974, and had the same pair for my three years in the Army (I think I ran about 3,000 miles in those shoes). I've recently started running again, and I've tried every brand of running shoes, but I always come back to this pair, the Adidas Marathon 10 USA. They have enough room in the toe box for my long toes, and fit snugly in the heel. They have just enough cushion for the long runs, and the breathable mesh keep my feet comfortable in the summer heat.. They are lightweight and essentially, the perfect running shoe.

I currently own Nike Shox and Adidas Climacool, but was looking for something in between (not too stiff, not too flexible). These are perfect. They're just what I needed to run. I didn't order them online; I got them in the Adidas store. I would say they're true to size.

There are a couple things about these shoes that made me return them.
First, and most important, the tongue is not padded--it's this weird flat thing with a pretty large seam partway up. The part that extends past the laces is a strange suedeish fabric. Regardless of how loosely I tied the laces, they felt too tight across the top of my foot.
Second, the colors look much brighter (and better) in the online photos. I wouldn't have returned the shoes just for that reason, but they looked dull.
The padding in the bottom seemed good, and there was only a little arch support.
Still looking for a good neutral/cushioned shoe. The Supernova Glide worked well, but I'm a little worried about the other review here for its new model (4).
Sizing was a teeny bit smaller than most other Adidas shoes.

I've been in the shoes a few weeks now, pulling an 80 mile week. I do not use these for track work or tempo, but plan to race in them for the marathon. They are fine, same wide toe box Adidas is known for. They do not feel particularly heavy or light (I wish I could wear Mizuno!). The mesh uppers seem substantial enough not to tear through early like some do. The nubs, despite my high mileage, are not wearing down. So if you are a marathoner with low stride/fast turnover, the squeak from these scuffing will drive you bananas. I'm considering grinding them down manually!

Rated 5 out of 5Â by TX Runner Great Shoes!!
I've been running in Marathon 10 shoes for several years now. I have tried lots of other shoes and always come back to these. They are light, but soft and form well to my foot. There is practically no 'break-in' period, either. I have run several half marathons, 10ks, 5ks, and am currently training for a full marathon. I will absolutely be wearing these shoes.

I bought these sneakers on a whim and I love them. They are so comfortable and I will definitely be buying another pair soon. When I first got them I wore them once and someone in my office was going to work out and forgot her sneakers so I told her where mine were brand new she could use them. She wanted to know where she could buy them she was saying how comfortable they were too...
