Rated 5 out of 5 Awesome running shoes! I've been a runner for many years and this my first running shoes that provide such a nice bounce back! They keep me energized and active throughout the entire workout. The shoes are very soft, although they give a great support while running. Finding the perfect shape of running shoes was always a challenge. But these shoes fit perfectly: not too tight, not too loose, just what I needed! They are great for any sort of activity outdoors and in the gym as well: squats, lunges, plyometrics and so on. The shoes are very practical, comfortable and worth the price! February 26, 2013
Rated 5 out of 5 by love these shoes! I have been running for 32 years and I think these shoes are the most comfortable ones I have ever used. They form to my foot well and the overall cushioning is way better than anything I have used in recent years. (I have only had them for 3 weeks so I still have to find out how long the sole will last. I typically have to buy a new pair every 3 months because I wear the tread off under the forefoot. I am hoping that these last a little longer than other shoes because of the higher cost.) The one complaint I have is that they are not that great for running in the snow because of the narrow tread depth. I would like to see a winter version of these. March 21, 2013
Rated 5 out of 5 by Super Light Weight! This is an amazing running shoe. So light and comfy. And I can use the mi gadget thingy in the sole (there's a little spot for it under the lining) it was a nice little surprise as I didn't know about it when I purchased it! The only thing I'm concerned about is the thin material used on the top part near the toes. I've seen this part ripped at the big toe before on another pair of runners, and I'm worried it will happen with these ones. So, these are purely for running only, not circuit training (e.g. push ups, burpies etc) and I have bought thick socks to protect it from any punctures! Can't wait to wear these at the 15km fun-run next week! March 17, 2013
Rated 4 out of 5 by Followed guidance from Spark People & Runners Worl As a recreational marathon runner, I am not very fast, but I enjoy long runs. However, sometimes my knees and hips do not enjoy them. I tend to favor two other brands of footwear. However, after reading the reviews in both Runners World and in the Weekly Spark, I decided to try them. Much easier on my knee's and hips than my previous pair. I took them out for a 23 mile run on Saturday and I experienced less discomfort and recovered quicker than before. If they carry me through my next marathon, I may buy a 2nd pair. FYI, based on the Spark review, I purchased them I went up 1.5 sizes and they seem to fit well. April 22, 2013
Rated 4 out of 5 by Springy but not sure they're a good everyday shoe These shoes are a good occasional choice when I want a very springy shoe, if my legs are feeling particularly tired. But the springy Boost material also gives the shoes some of the pillowy instability of a shoe like the old Nike Vomero, where your toes and ankles are always searching for balance. As a result I find I have a lot of niggling foot and ankle pain after I run in these. Also the shoes have a very high heel to toe drop. I would love to see Adidas come out with the racing version of this shoe which were available only in prototype at the Boston expo this year. With the lower drop and slightly thinner Boost soles, the racing Boost shoes could be a tremendous option for a marathon. June 25, 2013
Rated 4 out of 5 by YES -- A revolutionary shoe! Yes to the shoe! A revolutionary shoe, unlike any I have ever ran in or sold. I worked as a salesperson at a running shoe store and fit customers for every type of shoe from every type of company, you name it. This shoe is different from the rest -- it is incredibly comfortable and has a conforming fit. Make sure you buy it at least a half size bigger than your casual shoe size because it runs tight. When it comes to running, I feel like I am bouncing off every step. Never had a problem running in them. Can't wait until this shoe gets out to the public! February 25, 2013
Rated 4 out of 5 by I'm impressed - if you have wide feet, don't worry I read a lot of the reviews that said the shoe didn't accommodate their wide foot. I had several hallux rigidis surgeries on my big toe bone and have feet my husband calls "cromagnon feet" - that should tell you how WIDE my foot is - and I had NO PROBLEMS. Yes, the neoprene fits like a glove but to your own foot - it accommodates its shape and gives accordingly. I did not feel any of the uncomfortable tightness others alluded to and I am far from a normal width foot. However, I did heed the warning and went one half size up- PERFECT. Running in them was a dream! Subtracted one star because I did do a foot roll on a sudden side movement. Lateral support not excellent. But overall, bouncy great running shoe. I use my boosts 6 days a week to work out, so well worth the price! April 17, 2013
Rated 5 out of 5 by My new favorite running shoes!! I am usually skeptical about a "new & improved" running shoe, but the Adidas Boost is truly different. Thought for sure that this shoe would not work for me because I wear custom orthotics and have narrower than average feet, however, these shoes work well with my skinny feet and my orthotics! Ran 5 miles on an indoor track the day after they arrived and my feet and legs felt great! Did an outdoor 4 miler (36 degrees) and 3 miler (63 degrees) the next week. These shoes rock! If these shoes hold up well, I may be able to extend my running career. Thanks Adidas! March 10, 2013
Rated 2 out of 5 by dissapointed with durability I got these shoes for running indoors in my treadmill only a month ago (Xmas 2013) and in only this month, the fabric that's right below where the shoelaces start is already tearing. I mean A MONTH?! come on! its not like I'm going in crazy terrain where they can be damaged faster. So I'm very VERY disappointed with this shoe. Other than that its great, its super comfortable. But I just don't think its worth spending this amount of money on a running shoe that;s going to tear after only one month of use. January 27, 2014
Rated 5 out of 5 by Completely different I really feel that these shoes are different than any other running shoes I have tried. I'm so surprised at how light they feel, yet they're able to give me the support I need. I like the snug fit, but I'm happy that I followed the recommendation to get a half size larger than normal (I don't like my toes being squished). I'm also happy with the appearance, most women's shoes are girly colors, which is not appealing to me, I like to feel tough when I work out :) February 27, 2013

Rated 3 out of 5 by I'm thinking of returning... I tried these shoes on at a local running store so I knew my proper size. I was extremely excited to get out and run in them when I got them. I did about six miles and my feet hurt quite a bit (which is unusual... I run 40+ miles a week on concrete). I think the issue is that they are more narrow than most Adidas shoes. I thought since the material was rather stretchy, that wouldn't be an issue. Apparently I was wrong. Anyways, I'm going to try a few more runs to see if it gets better. I love the extra bounce in my step I get from these shoes but it's just not worth it if I'm in constant pain. March 12, 2013

Rated 3 out of 5 by Great shoe...for the first few months I bought this product early 2013 and was very excited by the reviews. As much as I loved the shoes the first few months, I can’t in good conscious tell people to spend $150 on a shoe that deteriorates as quickly as mine did. The inside has just slowly eroded to the point where I feel as though there is no padding. I am by no means a hard core runner. I am just getting into running so I would assume an avid runner has come across the same issue only far sooner than I did. I really did enjoy this the first 3-4 months and felt as though I was running stronger and that my off and on shin splints had disappeared. I just wish for the price that I would have gotten more out of it. August 29, 2013
Rated 4 out of 5 by Not bad. Not bad at all. I wanted to give Adidas a try since I had been wearing Nike Flyknits for over a year and wanted to see if I could find shoes with better cushioning. My first initial impressions of the shoes is that it looks great and feels great. Definitely has better heel cushioning than my Nike's. I ran in the rain and my feet got wet, but it never felt cold (that's a plus). The only cons is that it has less flex than the Flyknits (but I expected that as a tradeoff for the extra cushion) and it weighs 2+ ozs more so I definitely felt the difference during my run. Otherwise, I do like it. Only time will tell if these last longer than my old Flyknits! February 10, 2014
Rated 4 out of 5 by excellent running shoes When these shoes arrived in the mail I quickly opened the box and tried them on. Even though the color wasn't exactly what I had originally planned on I was pleasantly surprised when I tried them on. They were so comfortable and fit like a glove. Other than the fit, I really like the shoe laces, they don't come untied and have never had a problem with them loosening up on a long run. My first run went really well, I went for a nice easy five miler and left with good energy but when I came back I felt even better. The last half of my run was actually my fastest and I felt really energized. Sometimes with a minimalist style shoe my knees hurt but I haven't had any problems with these shoes. The only reason I gave them four stars instead of five was the price adidas was asking for them, but the fit is awesome and the soles of the shoes are squishy and comfortable. My biggest concern is how they're going to hold up after two hundred miles or so, especially for the price they should last a long time. I have put 58 miles on mine in about two weeks and they feel as good now when I put them on as they did the first time I tried them on. I run on gravel, dirt, and asphalt and haven't had any problems except when I step on a rock and the plastic arch on the bottom of the shoes sends it flying like it was stuck in a car tire. I haven't had any problems with the shoes on any of the surfaces and will continue to run in them even after I have written this product review. February 22, 2013
Rated 5 out of 5 by BEST....SHOES.....EVER! I run, on average, 15-20 miles per week. I am pretty neutral when it comes to pronation, but tend to have a heavy heel strike. I'm also recovering from peronial tendonitis. These shoes are awesome! I ran road and trail this week with absolutely no pain. Adidas recommends ordering a size up for a traditional fit, but after trying my regular size (9) in the store and also a 9-1/2, I found that I actually like the snugness of the toe box in the size 9 with just a light sock liner. Super lightweight too. Feels like a minimalist shoe, but with cloud-like cushioning. I will buy 1 or 2 more of these in different colors for my rotation! November 8, 2013
Rated 5 out of 5 by out of the box and into the rain I ordered these shoes online and packed them for a short half marathon relay I would be running in during my vacation without ever trying them on. I have run in Saucony since training for my first half marathon 4 years ago as I need a roomy toe box and a springy heel. The day of the relay race, it poured down rain and my feet got soaked, but the shoes performed great! Not a single blister! I did order a half size larger than my casual shoes and have found the shoes to fit perfectly. They are light and comfortable with a great heel. A great purchase! March 18, 2013
Rated 3 out of 5 by The shoe is very comfortable, breathable and light. My only complaint is the heel rises too high and I developed terrible blisters the first time I wore the shoes. I have never had that happen before with running/workout shoes. I would love a broader selection of colors too. I usually get a half to full size larger in running shoes than my average size of dress shoes (8.5-9B) and did the same with these (9.5B) - they fit perfectly. April 8, 2013
Rated 3 out of 5 by Ok... But not a marathon 10 I've run 7 marathons. The first 3 with injured knees before finding my all time favorite Adidas Marathon 10. Wore them for years with no more injuries despite running more and more miles. After running a November marathon I went to purchase a new pair to discover they aren't made anymore. I bought these hoping to have as much success as with the marathon 10s. They are definitely a different fitting shoe. I have worn them for short and long runs. I miss the fit of the marathon 10s, but will try and make these work.... Especially since I invested $150 in them. Much more than I ever paid for the marathon 10s. December 25, 2013
Rated 5 out of 5 by Incredible shoe! Love love love I heard the hype and was intrigued. I wasn't certain if this "revolutionary" shoe would classify as just this- an unique and completely fresh feel with "return" of energy in each step. I was pleasantly surprised to find right away that this shoe is superbly comfortable, light, breathable, and what feels like the equivalent of running on marshmallow pillows! I have run regularly and these shoes have replaced the supernovas that were my go to before finding these bouncy distance and/ interval runners (used them for both and shoe performed above expectations in both tasks). I highly recommend this shoe! August 6, 2013
Rated 4 out of 5 by Love the bounce! I fell in love with the style so I had to have one! I love the bounce & light weight that the shoe offers but the only problem I had is it numb my toes on the first mile! It literally was killing me I had to keep stopping from running to relieve the pain. So I thought it maybe that I tightened the lace too much but wasn't the case since I ran on this for the next couple days & its the same issue. I did order a half size larger & I have very narrow foot. Sadly I have to return it. I love it so much that I will try it on one size larger. The sales associate recommended it. So let's see! Rated 5 out of 5 Bouncy indeed! Excellent support In the overall Foot strike. They minimize impact on every surface taking pressure off knees and ankles. Great Breathable technology. I wish the colors were a bit more fun but overall it's an excellent shoe. Always remember to buy half a size bigger for a more comfortable fit . April 4, 2013
Rated 5 out of 5 by BEST RUNNING SHOE EVER Very light weight, like floating, super light on top of feet, fresh, love the black color. Wishing it comes in nicer colors, want another pair but not to happy with the Barney purple color or the blue. Wish the colors for woman came as nicer as the guys running shoes. Congrats Adidas !!! Rated 5 out of 5 by fantastic shoe i love my new Boost running shoes. they are light, comfortable, and good looking. I ordered a 7.5, which is my normal size for adidas and when tried them on first, i thought they might be too small, but once i started running i realized that the fabric is so soft and strechable, that it was a prefect fit. It is a shoe that gives you an extra spring in your step. Well done!! March 7, 2013
Rated 3 out of 5 On the fence Initially I loved this shoe, felt great on my first run. I could definitely sense the benefit of the "boost" sole. Unfortunately I feel like there is not a lot of support to this shoe; I noticed some distinct strain in my ankles after wearing this shoe for a few more runs and then subsequent knee pain. I consider this shoe close to a bare foot run in terms of the support but then there's the added "boost" from the sole so it makes for a strange combination. Not convinced I like it for regular running but perhaps for races. Bought it with a gift card otherwise I'd return it for sure. Must say I adore the bright colors of the fushia version though! Also the size recommendation is correct, go up a half size. May 15, 2013
Rated 4 out of 5 by Almost Perfect...Easy Transition..... Have worn the shoes 6 times. 1st on a 9 mi training run (not the smartest idea, but totally surprised with how easy it was to transition). Bought 2 sizes due to fit recommendation on website, but was perfect in my normal size. Finally found shoe that didn't feel wide in the toe box. Ran 15k hilly race, good uphill and downhill feel. Things to Improve....1. .in very cold temperatures, the toes get cold, a bit numb. 2. Shoe slips more than others on "black ice", so be careful. 3. the words (Energy Boost) on the insole are already wearing away. But overall good shoe; a bit pricey. March 20, 2013
Rated 4 out of 5 by A Bounce and a Boost I'm going from minimalist shoe to this one, because of having overdone it in my fav minimalist shoes and injured my Achilles' tendon. These shoes are comfy, light and are not straining my achilles. They still take some getting used to as they are more shoe than my barefoot minimalist shoes. I like them. Too early for me to say I love them. They make more sound as I hit the ground than my other shoes. I am a mid foot striker, high arch and tend to supinate. Overall I do like this shoe. 1/2 size larger was perfect recommendation. I wear a 91/2 the women's 10 was a perfect fit. January 5, 2014
Rated 5 out of 5 by Love love LOVE These shoes are Cadillacs for your feet. If you are ordering online (like me-I didn't like the color they had in the local sports store so I ordered online) I do recommend trying on a pair if you can find them locally - my friend told me I needed to get a half size bigger because they run small but to the contrary, my regular shoe size fit perfectly. The 1/2 size up felt like a ski because of the extra length. I would say they run exactly true to size - not bigger or smaller. The neon yellow is very standout - everyone compliments these shoes and want to know where I got them. August 2, 2013
Rated 5 out of 5 They really feel different!! I really noticed a higher level of support and cushioning, without it being a bulky/heavy sneaker. You can actually feel a little more bounce in your step when wearing them. I suffer from plantar fasciitis (and very high arches) and have to say these are the most comfortable sneakers I have found thus far. My custom orthotics fit in them without a problem. April 17, 2013
Rated 4 out of 5 by My first running shoe I had to order online. I am a strong size 8. Never any different. The ad said to go a half size up. I did. The width is good. The length was just a little long. I kept them, and it has worked out ok. I use a treadmill. I don't go outside. I am not that crazy about the color choices, but I bought them because I am tired of blisters. I have used them about 10 days. No wear marks on my feet. I would buy them again. I would have did 5 star, but the length kept me from it. My feet are not narrow or wide. I would order a half size up again. I love not getting blisters when I run!! July 30, 2013
Rated 5 out of 5 by Can run again...even without surgery I saw an article about this shoe in a a magazine and had to research them online. I used to run half marathons but have been sidelined with a broken foot that my orthopedic surgeon wanted to perform surgery on. With only a 50% chance of improvement post surgery, I decided to go the orthotic route and try to continue running without success. To is the first shoe that gives me the toe space plus the added mid-foot support to actually run again! I don't even have to use my orthotics in these shoes. Tis is my first pair of Adidas running shoes (I usually use Brooks) and this will definitely not be my last. I can run again!!!! I am very, very happy with this shoe. I purchased them in the electic blue and I love them. April 3, 2013

Rated 5 out of 5 by Favorite Running Shoes :) The adidas Energy Boost really surprised me. The foam technology really does give you that Boost it claims. It is almost like there is no impact on your feet because the foam on the sole of the shoe does the work for you. It is really a different feel from running shoes that I own. I run long distances at a time and these shoes have proven to be the comfiest shoes I own. They provide good snug support at the width of the shoe and the length of the shoe is long. Although there is a thick support at the bottom of the shoe, the sole is very flexible and combined with the foam technology, it kinda feels like it boosts you forward when running. I would definitely recommend these shoes for walking and running purposes! March 29, 2013
Rated 5 out of 5 by Favorite shoes of all time I purchased these shoes in Boulder Colo. Was able to run outside with them for 10 minutes. immediately impressed with the return. Have put about 200 miles on the shoes now to date. I am 54 years old, female. Compete in the usatf national track circuit and cross country. And senior olympics state and national levels. Run anywhere from 40- 55 miles per week. These are hands down the best shoes Ive ever trained in. Ball of foot comfort and total cushioning is superb. Have seen no breakdown from wear. Fits true to foot. Very comfortable in the toe box and good arch support. September 30, 2013
Rated 5 out of 5 by Love this shoe! This shoe feels amazing. I currently use brook pureflows that feel like too much shoe for me. This shoe doesn't have too much material on top, but has enough cushion on bottom. People say get a larger size but this shoe feels true to size to me. I've been waiting for this shoe. To me it's worth the cost. February 27, 2013
Rated 4 out of 5 by Exceeded expectations I was so excited when my FREE pair of Boost shoes arrived. When I opened the box and saw black and yellow, I thought they looked great. The shoes felt different when I tried them on. I was forced to walk on the outside of my foot, which was a little strange. The sizing is off. Every pair of adidas shoes I own are a size 9 and these are a 9 ½ and snug. When I went for a run, the shoe forced me to have more of a mid-foot to forefoot strike when I am generally a heel to forefoot striker. The fabric of the Boost does not allow as much breathability as some of my other running shoes. The foam technology is excellent. I like a shoe with a lot of cushion and this shoe delivers. I was skeptical about the shoe at first. But the more I run in theses, the better they feel. They are now a regular piece of my running shoe rotation. February 26, 2013
Rated 5 out of 5 by The BEST RUNNING SHOES EVER! I take my running shoes very seriously. I notice everything about them and how they help or hinder a run. These Energy Boost shoes are the best sneakers I have ever put on my feet to run in. No joke here. The best. The cushioning is ridiculous combined with a light weight yet supportive feel. I have never been able to run so effortlessly without the slightest bit of discomfort or any notification from my feet that they are unhappy. I love the mesh at the top which gives my feet room to expand and move without the pressure from the laces. Amazing amazing sneakers. January 25, 2014
Rated 5 out of 5 by Amazing! These shoes are something different for sure. I very competitively run high school school cross country and the first practice I wore these to I was noticeably faster in comparison to my teammates than I usually am. These are so comfortable and bouncy that they make my old shoes seem like rocks. These feel like running on clouds. What I told many of my friends was that these feel like they were crafted in heaven. Make sure you buy them at least a size or so above your street shoe size. I was advised by a running expert to buy a size 10 (I wear a normal size 8) but contrary to my fears, I have gotten virtually no blisters/ abrasions and ended the losing of toenails, a problem i had with shoes i bought in smaller sizes. Rated 5 out of 5 by Fantastic shoes I used to be die-hard Nike, then my feet got a little wider and I developed neuromas in both feet (probably from heels). I tried wider shoes, but then had problems with shin splints. I ordered these on an impulse, and am I glad I did!! I can run again, and walk, the shin splints are gone, and the material these are made of is stretchy and light enough that my toes can take the room they need without pinching. Walking is a joy too, and the springy bounce gives me more energy. Worth every penny. Ordered 1/2 size up just like with Nike to make room for socks. April 18, 2013
Rated 5 out of 5 by Light on my feet These shoes are great because they conform to your foot and don't have any points to rub and cause blisters. They're lightweight and provide stability but without being too stiff. I don't prefer them for short runs on training days but I wear them on long runs (more than 10 miles) and race days (half marathons) to get the benefit of the extra spring in my step. They hold up well (I've got two pairs because the first pair performed well and I chose to replace them with a second pair) even after many, many miles. They're meant for hot weather and they breath quite well. I ordered a half size larger than what I typically wear, which is recommended, and they're loose but not too loose, which is good when you're running long distances. February 1, 2014
Rated 5 out of 5 by This shoe is all that it is hyped up to be! As I put this shoe onto my foot for the first time, I could immediately tell it was like any other I have slipped on. As a woman who has been a runner off and on through life and recently getting back into the sport, I did my research before I made the purchase and I was not at all disappointed! In my opinion this shoe is worth every penny I paid for it, the comfort with the added side support is untouchable by any other brand. This is a shoe I will purchase again and again with no hesitation or thought of looking elsewhere for the right running shoe. March 24, 2013
Rated 3 out of 5 by Started out great but.... I initially loved the feel of the shoes and couldn't wait to try them out. Unfortunately about a mile in to my run, I started to develop a terrible blister on the backs of both my feet. I tried them a couple more times and was never able to be comfortable in them. The problem for my feet is that the back is to high. I returned them for another pair of less expensive Adidas and am totally happy with them. November 25, 2013

Rated 5 out of 5 by best running shoe yet I have tried many running shoes, I run 50-70 miles per week. Two years ago I was diagnosed with hallux rigidus and my right big toe joint has been getting bigger ever since, so much so it was becoming painful in running shoes of all sorts due to the rubbing of seams in the toe box. I couldn't find a shoe that would allow me to run pain free until I found the energy boosts. The stretchy foot box allows for great toe movement and no rubbing of seams on my joints. Plus they look stylish so I can still be one of the cool kids. I love these shoes. They really live up to their name as they have superb shock absorption. I would recommend these even if you don't have an arthritic toe--fabulous shoe--never stop making it so I can keep running comfortably! March 17, 2014
Rated 4 out of 5 by Good shoe, but not sure about sizing Love the shoe, but sizing has proved tricky, even though I ordered a half size larger as suggested. Bought a previous pair that fit me perfectly and I have really enjoyed running in. Decided to order another couple of pairs in the same size but they are to small and had to send them back. I later noticed that while the US sizing on the new shoes were the same as my current pair, the European sizes on the label were smaller. Not sure what to make of this? Would like to get another pair but am still confused about the sizing? August 27, 2013
Rated 5 out of 5 by Energy Boost Shoes I honestly didn't believe all the hype, but believe me it is true. I shaved 30 seconds off my time, but even better than that I was able to run farther without getting tired. I would highly recommend these shoes!! The only thing I would change is the shoe laces. They tended to come untied A LOT. Switched them out and now it is perfect March 6, 2013
Rated 5 out of 5 by Love... love... love these!!! My feet feel as though I'm running in my Uggy Slippers and I no longer have to wear thick running socks for cushioning, and no more tingly toes or burning feet after my longer runs!! They fit perfectly... general rule for runners, up half size. Can't explain it... but I definitely "feel the boost' !!! Totally recommend these !!! October 16, 2013
Rated 5 out of 5 by Love the bounce! The bounce is a noticeable, and feels good! I also really like the stretch of the shoe. I especially like the flat laces too. Color is great. The heel is not as snug as it has been in previous shoes, but still good. I would like more coverage in the tongue, but my insert and thick socks may be the issue. March 7, 2013
Rated 5 out of 5 by These shoes are the most comfortable pair of running shoes I have ever worn. I have tried several different brands over the years, (mostly brands that specialize only in running shoes) but these blew them out of the park! The runs I have worn them on have varied in distance and terrain, but I could not be more pleased with the result. I would certainly recommend trying on several different sizes in store before purchasing to make sure you have the appropriate fit since they are designed to be snug in the toe box. March 17, 2014
Rated 5 out of 5 by They live up to the hype I typically wear a 7.5 in a running shoe, so chose to stick with that size and they fit perfectly with needed room for swelling. I prefer a thinner sock with them as the more padded and thicker ones I've tried aren't as comfortable although they do not feel tight. These shoes are the most comfortable running shoes I've ever worn in 40 yrs of intermittent running. I am now building my base before starting training for a marathon and am running 12-16 miles a week. As many others have stated, these felt broken in right out of the box, which I've never experienced before. I've worn them on the road and on my treadmill and the response on either is fantastic. It seems like I "feel" the road with these much like when wearing my Five Fingers, yet there is the nice cushioning and the shoe profile works so much better for me. I highly recommend with zero reservations. Best. Shoe. Ever. Thanks Adidas...I'm now a convert and have changed my brand loyalty from my tried and true Asics or Saucony shoes. Kudos!!!! July 31, 2013
Rated 5 out of 5 Excellent sport shoe I got them from an Adidas store in Las Vegas approximately two weeks ago. I didn't thought much about them until I got home and took them for a run. I was surprised of how good Adidas made this shoes (I'm a Nike girl.....or I should say I was...) These Energy Boost shoes are extremely light-wieght (only 8.5 ounces), they fit perfectly, provide extreme cushioning and stability for running. I got a size 8, but I'm 7.5 on Nike. This are by far the best runners I ever owned. I'm very impressed by Adidas!!!!! July 30, 2013
Rated 5 out of 5 by Best ever running shoe I preordered and bought my energy boost when they first came, liked them so much I bought another pair in a different color. Before these shoe, I was not able to run on the street because it hurt my knees and back, with these shoes I have no problem what so ever. Now I'm able to run from my house instead of having to drive to the park and run. Although adidas usually run a little large and I have to size down a 1/2 size from 7 to 6 1/2 with this shoe I wear a 7 and they fit great! Love em! July 13, 2013
Rated 5 out of 5 by My Preferred Adidas I had been very loyal to the Supernova for many many years and just have not been thrilled with that shoe for the past 2 years or so. They are high on my ankles and chafe like they never did before. I tried a Brooks shoe and 2 different Adidas shoes. I think I am on my 3rd or 4th pair of Boosts and am happy with the supportiveness for such a light shoe. I always like that the website has one or two color options which are not too girly. The highlighter yellow scheme right now is fun. January 29, 2014

Rated 3 out of 5 by Buyer Be Aware!! I have to say out of the box I loved these! I ran 17.5 miles no problem. Then after about a month of wearing them I have noticed my left ankle hurts. I have never had problems before with my ankles. Now I am noticing calf problems too. So I have about 175 miles on these and my body is starting to get injured. I am an experienced runner and I always wear a neutral sneaker. I wear a size 7 shoe but a 8.5 running sneaker. The fit was great and inline with my normal running sneaker. June 9, 2013
Rated 4 out of 5 by Good, but sizing mixed After reading the suggestion that you should order these sneakers in a half size bigger I ordered an 8.5 instead of my normal 8. When they arrived they were WAY to big. I exchanged them for my regular size and am really enjoying them. I run daily, cross train, and am a trainer so I basically live in my sneakers. These are super comfortable and minimally supportive which i just what I need. If you have a higher arch, however you may need to consider insoles. Definitely recommend. August 25, 2013
Rated 5 out of 5 by Awesome Running Sneakers After spending time training for a 10K in the other Aidas running sneakers I had in my closet, I decided the day before the race that they just weren't cutting it. So down to the store I went, put the Energy Boosts on my feet, and it was like heaven. I ran my 10K in the new shoes with no achy feet or blisters to show for it, and better yet, beat my training times. These shoes are pricey, but I'm a convert. And the blue looks SO much better in person than on the computer! April 7, 2013
Rated 5 out of 5 by Feels great beneath your feet Just got a pair of these shoes. Looks are just ok, but these are the first pair of running shoes where I could actually feel a significant difference in the quality of cushioning beneath my feet. It wasn't just that it has more or less cushioning, but the cushioning just feels better. More forgiving, but not squishy. This is truly a new form of cushioning well worth checking out. I run mostly on the trail, and use a lighter, lower profile trail shoe there. But these are my go-to road and gym shoes. The upper fits snug, and I like a lot of room in the toe box. But the upper stretches kinda like a sock to fit most feet. In other words, don't worry wide footers, you're in good hands here. adidas, if you could create a lower profile version of these shoes with less toe-heel drop, that would be very much appreciated. Rated 5 out of 5 by Loving my boosts I bought these at the Boston expo and instantly loved them. I normally run and race in Newtons, but I was looking for a break from the lugs :). These fit perfectly and were super comfy, fresh from the box.. the techfit material is very stretchy and gives my toes lots of happy space, and I'm seriously loving that energy boost feel in my stride. I have worn them on my recovery runs since the marathon, and I am hoping for energy boost shoes in trail and racing versions! May 3, 2013
Rated 5 out of 5 by Amazeballs The energy boost are my first pair of Adidas ever, I've only had Nike or New Balance in the past. I'm also new to running and trying to train up/get serious. The hype got me curious so I went to try on and immediately felt the difference! Same day after purchase I took them for a run at the gym and felt a world of difference. The cushioning is perfectly supportive in all the right spots. It's a very light shoe despite the look. The fit is also very comfortable, I got the half size up from my regular as was recommended. After my run, my legs and knees still felt great - I was beginning to constantly get knee pain from my other shoes the impact of running more. Anyhow, I definitely recommend this! I'm debating getting another pair in another color because I like them that much. Go to your nearest store and try them on! August 12, 2013
Rated 4 out of 5 by good shoes - but not completely sure I ran 8 1/2 miles the first time I wore these shoes. They do fit like a glove and are very comfortable. I am a loyal Saucony runner and this is the first time I have changed brands. I noticed that my toes don't seem to have the room as my Saucony's. I Like the shoes and fit, but not sure about the toe box. I am a marathoner and I want to make sure I made the right choice. Do I keep them for a few more runs? I don't want to give up on them to soon. any suggestions? June 23, 2013
Rated 4 out of 5 by really good shoe These shoes seem like they a little shallow. However, I put in my orthotics and they work just fine. I have had a couple of weird foot pains after running in these 3 times, but I think that will go away. I do like the stretch uppers and the light weight. It will be interesting to see if they last longer than the other Adidas I have used. The shoe feels very springy when you first put it on and when you walk. When running, you don't notice the extra spring as much. July 19, 2013
Rated 5 out of 5 by Most comfortable shoes I have ever run in I went to the Addias outlet to look for some good running shoes to train for my half marathon. I like how light weight they are (I have "the other" brand of shoes and they are like weights) & they absolutely feel like I am running on a cloud. The support on the heel is what sold me on these. I've had these for 2 weeks now and am the happiest I have ever been-so are my feet and legs. Didnt mind the price too much, you get what you pay for. :) April 13, 2014

Rated 4 out of 5 by Great shoe It was not necessary for me to order half a size bigger as recommended. My regular size shoe fits perfect. The shoe is fairly light. It does not have a lot of arch support. Very comfortable. I have used it for classes at the gym too and was pleased with them. The 'energy boost' is not as cushioning as some gel shoes but feels like 'medium gel'. The upper toe part is made of very thin flexible material. You should get them! You will like the look too! :-) September 26, 2013
Rated 4 out of 5 by Happy to have Adidas again, but my gods, the heels I love a good cushioned Adidas, and this one definitely had a spring to the step. The techfit material without the seams is a plus as well. BUT there is something about the top of the heels on Adidas shoes. They always rub my ankle raw, which I had forgotten in my excitement and long stretch of time since my last Adidas road shoes. You CANNOT wear low cut socks, or go without socks, on these, unless you want a blistery mess. Otherwise, love the shoe! February 19, 2014
Rated 5 out of 5 by Super comfortable, lightweight, and supportive. I use these primarily for training, and I absolutely love them. They're the most comfortable athletic shoe I've purchased yet, very lightweight, and supportive/cushioned around the heel. The only downside is that they don't breath as much as I'd like them to and the upper fabric is somewhat stretchy so it's difficult when I'm doing training drills that involve quick turns (my foot slides around a little). I recommend getting a very snug fit. March 18, 2013
Rated 5 out of 5 by A MUST BUY! I have ran 400 miles in the energy boosts and they feel like new. They are very comfortable and have kept their cushioning. I have a small fracture on top of my foot, and these are the only shoes that have allowed me to run pain free! The first few times running in them I did have some numbing in my toes on my right foot…not sure why but with time it went away. I just bought my second pair so I can rotate them! I LOVE THEM!!! October 28, 2013
Rated 5 out of 5 by Great for Walking, too Osteoarthritis in both knees has put running in my past, so I am now training to speed walk (much harder than I expected!). These shoes are fantastic. I have had them for three weeks, walking hard five days a week. Not only do my feet feel great, but my knees feel completely supported and strong. The fabric keeps my feet cool, and the flexibility of it prevents any pressure points. The cushion of the sole is like a dream. July 7, 2013
Rated 5 out of 5 by Great boost! I first discovered these sneakers while walking around eight months pregnant in London with boots on. Quickly changing my boots for these energy boost sneakers, I was able to walk back to the hotel a few miles away with brand-new feet. They are amazing! I came home and right away bought a pair for my mother who has neuropathy in her feet. She is also loving them. They fit like a glove, are supportive and energizing. March 9, 2014
Rated 4 out of 5 by Energy Boost Shoes The heel and middle have a lot of cushion but not so much in the toe area. I love the toe box, it's 100% uninterrupted by binding and feels like satin. I haven't decided if I like the flat shoe strings or not but think I do. The pad can be a little slippery under wet conditions, should be interesting this winter. I may have to change out in heavy snow as the treads are very limited. The color is hot pink awesome! July 31, 2013
Rated 5 out of 5 by 1st half marathon w/ new Adidas Energy Boost I bought my pair of Adidas Energy Boost shoes one day before my first half marathon. I was first contemplating on whether or not I should be breaking in those shoes on the long run because if anything happens it would be painful. I took the chance and they were perfect. They were so light and the cushioning of the shoes made me land so softly on the ground (I was a stamper). All in all, very happy with my pair. October 27, 2013
Rated 5 out of 5 by Great shoe I purchased this second pair of Energy Boost because I love the first. The second is black so I can wear them to work without the color standing out so much. As it says, buy 1/2 size larger than your normal running shoe. I personally don't run enough to say that there is a transfer of energy. BUT, I do know that my plantar fasciitis has gone away since purchasing my first pair! This makes it worth the price. June 8, 2013
Rated 5 out of 5 by Excellent product These shoes are nothing short of amazing. Opened them up and went running. 15 miles later - no blisters (which is my major problem with the last 5 types of running shoes), my feet weren't tired or sore. Feel supportive, yet roomy without too much extra room. Love that the shoe is one continuous piece of soft, stretchy material - no seams or hard vinyl "decorative" pieces. Love them and will buy them again. October 4, 2013

Rated 4 out of 5 by Too soon to tell I just received the Boost shoes and have had the chance to put some miles in only once. So far I like the extra cushioning in the forefoot but I disagree that I needed a half size bigger. I wear an 8.5 and ordered a 9. It is a bit too roomy, but I will survive. I should note I also wear orthotics which take some extra space in a shoe. I love the color though and can't wait to really give them a work out! October 18, 2013
Rated 5 out of 5 by Energy Boost Shoes This is my second review on an Adidas shoe, the first was my tempo Adizero shoes and now, I'm SO happy to say that my Energy Boost shoes have become my new favorite running shoe. I have some plantar facitis issues but have seen a huge improvement from wearing Adidas shoes. I am training for the St. George marathon in Oct. and have been wearing my Energy Boosts for all of my long runs and my short runs as well. They are form fitting, snug and do not rub anywhere on my foot. There is no seam close to my toes nor along the top of my foot so I have had ZERO blisters or foot rub issues of any kind, even on my hill and trail long runs. Finally, I must say that the Energy Boosts have kept me energetic and bouncy with all of the down hill work I've been doing. They are a light and spongy shoe and there is NO clunky, downhill clomping with these shoes. SO happy once again with my Adidas shoes! July 27, 2013
Rated 5 out of 5 by Best running shoe ever! I started wearing the Energy Boost the week it was introduced last year and haven't been disappointed for one day. Just picked up a new pair last night and going to start running in them today, they will be the pair that runs my first Half Marathon with me in 10 weeks. Do I recommend these shoes?! Yes I do! Fellow runners in both of my running groups have heard great things from me about these shoes! January 22, 2014
Rated 5 out of 5 by Amazing! I was already an Energy boost convert, but the deal has now been sealed with this newest colourway. I wore them out for a run the same day I got them and the compliments haven't stopped! Strangers are coming up to me and telling me how cool they are. These shoes are both a style and a performance play. I wish I'd ordered two. Definitely recommend you go up a half size from your usual size though. July 12, 2013
Rated 5 out of 5 by free to move This shoes though esthetically not very chic since they make your feet look larger than they really are, are incredibly comfortable, enables you to walk for hours without feeling any back or knee pain and are Ideal for those that have to stand on their feet for long hours. My age does not allow me to run, but I walk long hours. I have bought the same pair to my daughter and she loves them too May 15, 2013
Rated 3 out of 5 by Alright The heel is probably the best part of the shoe. I can feel the cushion when I run and it helps take pressure off the heel. They recommend that you order a half size larger than your normal size, I did that, but they were too big. So, I had to send them back and get my real size. They are ok, for running and then take them off. I did not find them to be very comfortable to just wear all day. March 17, 2013
Rated 5 out of 5 by Awesome Shoe I was skeptical at first about the advertising claims but I really do run faster in these shoes. My times are faster on my training runs even when I'm not deliberately trying to beat my previous time. They feel great. They do fit quite snuggly so I went up half a size and am glad I did. They are pricey but I am happy I got a pair. It'll be fun to run a race in them and see how my time is. March 10, 2013
Rated 5 out of 5 by Awesome running shoes! These shoes were recommended by a friend, so I was excited about trying them out for myself! Well, I absolutely love these shoes. They are lightweight and very comfortable. I took Adidas' advice and ordered the Energy Boost shoes a half a size bigger than my usual shoe size, and I'm glad I did. They fit like a glove. I highly recommend these shoes if you are any type of runner. March 27, 2013
Rated 5 out of 5 by Simply the Best! I've been an athlete for years, running track, basketball, kickboxing, and even dance. This shoe is the best training shoe i've ever had! The perfect shoe for running. Its lightweight and the sole absorbs my compression while propelling me forward a little on the return. I currently do insanity with them (works great) but i wish i had them back in my Army Bootcamp era! Lesley August 6, 2013
Rated 4 out of 5 by Solid trainer I was a bit skeptical to try a new show but these were recommended at a local running store and seemed too good to pass up. They are super comfy out of the box and I am hopeful they will last the 700 miles as stated! So far they seem to offer good support and a fresh spring to my step. I use these with SuperFeet insoles, I have flat feet. After 50 miles, I am still loving them. December 17, 2013
