Rated 2 out of 5 by Not for cold windy days Shirt has THINLY lined fleece in a criss-cross pattern; so the wind goes right through it. Must layer over a warm T-neck for cold, windy winter runs. Was disappointed it wasn't like the 2011 model, which is windproof and has SOLID fleece lining (which I hoped this would be also; it's not). Color is high-vis = good road safety. Runs long in sleeves and torso. Am keeping it only because it's the only thing I'm buying from the Addidas line for 2014. Was surprised they chose orange; after what happened last year I thought for sure they would have a patriotic color scheme of red, white & blue.....or "Boston Strong" printed on the shirt somewhere. Rated 5 out of 5 by Soft and warm Super cute shirt, it is more day-glo orange than appears online but is very pretty. When unzipped there is blue material that exposes adding nice contrast detail. Interior is light quilted fleece making it very soft and warm and includes thumb holes. Love this shirt! December 7, 2013
Rated 5 out of 5 by Comfy I love this shirt, fit is perfect and it's warm and soft on the skin. I'm so grateful to be running my first Boston, I'm baffled by the negativity on the selected color scheme. To me, the least important element of Boston 2014 has got to be what color the official gear is! I'm running for one of the hospitals that cared for the survivors in April, and I will be thrilled to rock these colors! December 22, 2013
Rated 5 out of 5 by adidas rocks! I love the subtle inverted quilted lining. It is buttery soft. The fit compliments my physique. I'm pleased with the thumb holes, which keep me warm down to my fingertips. The orange body and blue contrast make this an attractive, yet functional top. Thank you, adidas! December 28, 2013
Rated 2 out of 5 by Like it but it won't last Love the color and the fit. It is also very cozy.Unfortunately it is not made like a $65 jersey should be made. Very light and almost cheap. The color on the fingers gives it a good look but that is all.The finger hole placement did not match up with my fingers comfortabaly. The shirt was pulled in a few places when I rec'd it and I had to cut off a few strings to make sure that the runs did not travel. It noticed some pills after the very first wash. I don't think it will stand up to long runs and lots of washing. I may reserve it for pajama wear. March 14, 2014
Rated 1 out of 5 by 2014 deserves better than this I was excited to see what Adidas would produce for the 2014 Boston Marathon and then I saw the violent shade of orange they chose. I received this top as a gift and was very disappointed in it instantly. The quality of it is so poor that I did not think it was actually made by Adidas until I was given the receipt for it. I must say that the sizing of it though is great. As a 5'6" 100lb female it can difficult to find things that are small enough and this d's runs true to fit. But I would think twice before buying anything else from this years line. December 29, 2013
Rated 4 out of 5 by Great running top This is a size true day glow orange top...it is colorful and the Boston Marathon logo is subtle but noticeable. The thumbholes are always welcome and the top fits nicely with or without a running shirt underneath. So proud to wear it even with a pair of jeans~ January 9, 2014
Rated 5 out of 5 by Love it I love this shirt. It is comfortable, with thumb holes and a color that I know I can be seen in when out on the roads. This is the best product I bought. December 29, 2013
Rated 1 out of 5 by Returned Immediately... After reading the poor reviews on the celebration jacket, I thought this shirt would be a great alternative. I was wrong. The fabric is cheap and the fit is terrible. The color, I can't even begin to describe this hideous color, just know it is no where near what is shown in the picture. I was so disappointed that I sent it back the next day. Not worth $65. Save your money! April 9, 2014
Rated 2 out of 5 by Brighter but not better than it looks It's such a bright orange (i.e. day glow) that you may not even need a safety vest for PM running :) I was also expecting a slightly heavier weight/better quality item. It's so thin that you can read printed T-shirts through it. I've worn it 3 times and it has already started to pill. It's also longer than I expected but I'm only 5'3 so maybe I should've expected this April 8, 2014

Rated 4 out of 5 by Seriously bright, seriously yummy I'm still on the fence with this one. If it were slightly less neon, I'd keep it but man, is it bright. I placed it next to my orange reflective vest - same exact color. On the other hand, it fits well, and the fleece inside is yummy. It's fairly long, which is great for me - 5'7" and not too clingy but fitted. Good quality and the fabric feels cozy against skin. March 22, 2014
Rated 1 out of 5 by Don't buy it! The color is a REALLY bright orange. I would never have walked into a store and thought that this was a good looking shirt. In fact, it really is ugly. The only reason to own it is because of the Boston Marathon logo on it. I wore it running once and it is warm, but after one wash the fleece on the sleeves and neck is already "pilled" looking. Very poor quality. January 24, 2014
Rated 5 out of 5 by Good Purchase Super Bright! I ordered this pullover last month in a small but had to return & reorder in a medium. Too tight in the shoulders. For reference I'm an athletic build 5'6 & 130 pounds. Great piece of apparel to wear over your running clothes but probably wouldn't recommend wearing it during running even in cool temp due to the fabric inside. Hope my review helps your purchase. Rated 5 out of 5 by Great! High Visibility! This orange is no joke. It's pretty bright. It doesn't bother me that it's not in the Boston Strong colors as it does some people, but it should be noted that the orange is not what I'd call muted. The jacket breathes well and is flexible, but is a snugger fit than other Adidas pieces. If you want it roomier you may want to consider sizing up. February 4, 2014
Rated 2 out of 5 by Disappointed I have purchased several similar tops from past Boston's . some were fleece (in earlier years) and others of the climawarm fabric. In every case except this one, the top was really great quality and could be used more as a warm alternative to the jacket. This top is sub-par. Was hoping the 2014 would be fabulous but not so:) January 21, 2014
Rated 4 out of 5 by Pretty color The color is a lot brighter than the pictures shows. It's much prettier and the blue trim is bright too. Nice spring colors and very different for Boston. I like the textured pattern, but the material was much thinner than I expected. I'm fine with it, but if you're looking for something to keep you warm this is not it. March 10, 2014
Rated 2 out of 5 by Souvenir Purchase This is more florescent in person that in the photo. It runs small. There's a blue triangle at the base of the zipper when it's open, which I'm not a fan of. And the seams are rough. I'll wear it as a souvenir of the upcoming run but I won't wear it as a technical top. February 24, 2014
Rated 5 out of 5 by Alternative to Official Jacket Really nice top. Good for running ,but not in real cold weather. This will be my fourth Boston and have purchased the official jacket each time. This year I thought the jacket was pretty unattractive so I opted for this instead. Size up if you want to layer. April 4, 2014
Rated 3 out of 5 by So So This top is an okay quality. It is a loose and baggy fit. I am usually a small, and I was swimming in this small sized shirt. I was so excited for it and I am sad to say that I was disappointed. The color is great, in my opinion, though! January 4, 2014
Rated 4 out of 5 by Cozy and Warm Perfect for winter running in Michigan! Love the fleece lined interior and thumb holes on the sleeves. Only complaint I have is that the stitching on of the blue trip looks kind of sloppy and unfinished. January 13, 2014

Rated 5 out of 5 by 2014 Boston Sequential Zip Top I LOVE THIS TOP!!! It is sooo soft and warm, sharp looking, and comfortable! I haven't taken it off since I got it! January 7, 2014
Rated 2 out of 5 by Disappointed Sorry I didn't listen to other reviewers. Just a poorly made top in Halloween orange. Sadly, returning it. January 31, 2014
Rated 3 out of 5 by It's a nice top. The color is prettier than I expected. I like it. It's very warm, and fits nice. January 25, 2014
Rated 2 out of 5 by Didn't like For the price I wanted to love the jacket, but didn't like the material or fit so I returned it. January 20, 2014
Rated 5 out of 5 by Love it! Every year I get the half zip and this year did not disappoint! Classic and super comfortable! February 11, 2014
Rated 4 out of 5 by Snug, but stylish I wish the logos stood out more again the orange. But overall a great piece. February 2, 2014
