Rated 5 out of 5Â by SoCalD 1 small complaint... After partially tearing my calf last year, this product has been great for helping warm my calfs and keeping them warm, yet not overheating me. My biggest complaint is that the ankle end begins to frey after only a few washes. But the product has held up well and has not fallen apart. In cooler weather, I have tried layering these with the compression socks it has worked great. Love this product! December 6, 2012
Rated 1 out of 5Â by Dru Zovich Another bad/inconsistent product Adidas clothing is going downhill. Examples? These sleeves. While they work on a compression level, like everyone else is saying here, they fray in the worst way after a few uses. How hard is it to stitch something? It's a clothing company after all right? I already use other brands way more often and will continue to do so. The amount of times I've ordered something in small that was huge and baggy like a large and nothing was listed in the product description or a different product is listed as a small but there is nothing in the product description saying "This is actually extra slim fit and is like compression" is ridiculous. Zero consistency in their products. Unless you're spending $150 on Boost shoes February 13, 2014
Rated 5 out of 5Â by hailyeahrg3 BEST PRODUCT EVER I had HORRIBLE shin splints, but I used these for just ONE day (today during my workout) when I ran a whole mile (literally yesterday I couldn't because my shins were so bad) for the first time in such a long time! These are AMAZING 100/10 I would totally recommend them to anybody and everybody! Great buy and great price for something this amazing! <3 LOVE IT March 27, 2013
Rated 1 out of 5Â by suzbuck Sleeves frey and come apart in wash I got these calf sleeves as a present, and loved them. They are great for recovery after my runs. After the second wash the bottom of the sleeves became to come unraveled so badly it took an hour to untangle the mess of string tangled up in with the other clothes in the wash. Had to purchase CWX compression sleeves, and they work just as good, and have been washed 3 times and have not frayed or came unwoven in the wash. I love adidas products, and I have to say this is the first time I have been disappointed in their products. August 12, 2013
Rated 1 out of 5Â by lcosssio I love adidas, but this is its worst product I have been wearing adidas since I was 4yrs old. Playing soccer with all their predator cleats, to then F50, Adizero, etc. Same with workout clothes and running shoes. Adidas classic is pretty nice as well. This Recovery Calf Sleeves are horrendous. I washed them once and it start pilling off at the seam. This happened after washing it one time, and since then it kept getting worst. I honestly do not feel any improvement in my post game conditioning recovery, but I will give them the benefit of the doubt. It is just that the sleeves are cheaply made. January 20, 2013
Rated 3 out of 5Â by PandiculatorAtLarge Version 1.0 Needs an Update If this is one of the early versions, then a little advice on the package of not washing this in the washing machine as I can with other well-made Adidas products. Fortunately, I got this at half price which is what it is somewhat worth at this point. The sleeve itself does the job. Nice, lightweight and breathes well. Replaces the need for a 2nd soccer sock and serves as another cushion when getting kicked in the bullet proof addidas shin guards I wear. Look forwards to seeing a better version which can hold up under a washing machine. August 6, 2013
Rated 2 out of 5Â by jaday Fray Issue These were the first pair of recovery calf sleeves I have purchased. I really like the light weight material. I play soccer and am a long distance runner, and did notice less fatigue and quicker recovery. HOWEVER, this product was not built to last. As the other reviews have stated, they frayed after only a few washes, causing me to throw them away. I really like the product, but the durability is substandard. If adidas can improve the quality, I'd love another pair. September 4, 2013
Rated 1 out of 5Â by CheerDad Shame they fray so easily I had a tendon strain in my calf and I was looking for the best option for recovery. I loved them when I first got them. They are lightweight and I definitely felt the difference, so much I went an got two more sets when they were on sale. However, I now have three sets that all fraying on the bottom end. I even asked a friend who works with textiles and she didn't have a good answer on how to fix them. This is a great product to have it fall apart so quickly. October 28, 2013
Rated 4 out of 5Â by Bill de Brooklyn recover faster! The product works but it does unravel a bit if it is washed in a washing machine. I own 2 pair and the sleeves I hand wash are doing well. I wear the sleeves after I do leg work in the gym and my legs feel less fatigued as a result. January 29, 2013
Rated 1 out of 5Â by BreeR Fray way to much! I have worn the compression sleeves maybe 4 times they got a small fray in the bottom of one of the sleeves and the whole sleeve is coming apart. In no time the sleeve is going to be one long piece of string. Try a different brand for sure. February 13, 2013
