Rated 1 out of 5 by Horrible! Unusable! Want a refund! The GPS function on my phone works fine when working out and using micoach until I try to use the heart rate monitor and it loses its signal constantly unless I run with the arm pouch or iPhone in my hand. August 11, 2013
Rated 4 out of 5 by almost perfect This heart rate monitor is great! It's extremely accurate and works very well with the miCoach app. The textile strap is comfortable and easy to adjust, put on, and remove. Also, as a woman, it's not noticeable at all when I wear it under my shirt. I have had some connectivity issues when my phone is in my backpack. The app kept saying "Bluetooth found. Bluetooth lost. Bluetooth found. Bluetooth lost..." nonstop without a break. But when I looked at the results afterwards, it appeared uninterrupted. Don't forget to take it off after you're done working out. Otherwise the dried sweat makes your skin bond to the connective part of the strap and it hurts to take it off. April 8, 2014
Rated 4 out of 5 by Excellent Product It's great to be freed from the Connect, now that BLTE is available. The only downside is that the HRM strap continues to have some minor issues. I actually was forced to upgrade from my old equipment b/c the strap died after ~ 2 years of routine use. The new strap does not always register correct HR, unless it has electrode gel applied at the beginning of the workout. Otherwise, I am very happy with the product and it's interface with the mobile app. January 19, 2014
Rated 3 out of 5 by RESEARCH CAREFULLY As far as I know, this works great. I can't tell, though, as it does not work for Android yet. Once Google finally updates the Bluetooth stack with 4.0 (BTLE), hopefully Adidas will update the micoach app to work with the sensor. In the meantime, it does not work with Android, it does not work with the iPod Touch 4G. It will only work with the newest iPhones and the iPod Touch 5G. July 8, 2013
Rated 2 out of 5 by Ok but... It's being a week of intensive use and the device works well up to 30 minutes of exercise. After it just gives absurd values to the iPhone like 40bpm when running at 8 km/h pace a little further simply start loosing connection until it stop working. August 31, 2013
Rated 2 out of 5 by The bluetooth conection works poorly. I use an iPhone 5 with Adidas' "miCoach" cover and when I wear it on my arm, connectivity with heart rate sensor is lost. The only way that works is to have the iPhone 5 holding it with your hand. I had very high expectations for this product. November 4, 2013
Rated 5 out of 5 by Great purchase! This is my first heart rate monitor and works perfectly with my android. The big range of training plans for different sports helps you doing it right wether you are an experienced athlete or not. February 28, 2014
Rated 1 out of 5 by Not a good experience with Windows Phone Well first of all the device needs a little improvement, the actual heart rate monitor doesn't stays on the strap, I had to be constantly checking it doesn't unbuttoned from the strap. And the app for the windows phone is really far behind compare to other running apps on the OS. Looses track of the GPS if the screen locks, which beats the whole purpose of the app. It might work better with other phones, but in my case I did not meet my expectations. I'm returning my item. Rated 4 out of 5 by Really great gear for Micoach app on Windows Phone I absolutely love this product!! I use it to do cardio (stationary bike) and the using Micoach website, I created a plan to lose weight. The app on windows phone makes it easy to pair the heart rate monitor. The only thing I recommend is to not over stretch the band, it seems very sensitive to that it starts to create creases in the elastic and could eventually damage the electrodes. March 24, 2014
Rated 5 out of 5 by Best Coaching Device On Market I have been comparing my wife's micoach and its capabilities with my unfortunate purchase of a similar product from an industry big player. micoach is a much much better product, which will truly makes you a better athlete where it is just a slogan of the other company. The micoach web site is almost perfectly designed, with fantastic preset periodized training programs that are dialed into specific intensity zones. If you want to alter the workout calendar, it is very simple to do with a click and drag to pull a workout from one day and move it to another day. It is also easy to alter preset workouts plans to integrate more cross training if you like, which is what I did with my wife's plan. I started with a level 6 10K plan, and reduced the running days to increase the strength training days. Speaking of weight training days, the animated demo of how to perform specific movements is excellent and is something the NO ONE ELSE has. This is hands down the best on the market. I can't wait to get mi own. Next up, if Adidas could design a program for cyclists with BlueTooth interface with a PowerTap, I will have died and gone to heaven! April 1, 2014
