I've been doing CrossFit for 2 years and these shoes are awesome to train in.. I can do a lot of WODs in these shoes.. The only thing I can't do in them is run long distances.. I can do Box jumps, double unders, push ups, and of course all ur Olympic lifts.. Sturdy but light weight makes this shoe the so much better than other shoes that are heavier.. These shoes are a must for me!!

I wear a 7.5 (women's). I bought the smallest men's size available (6.5, I think) since there are no women's sizes.
I can use them if I tie them tightly and make the velcro strap really tight, but they are too long and loose in the toe area for a woman's foot. I only wear them on strength days.
I bought these in March 2013 because they were $60 cheaper than the Reebok Crossfit Lifter, which comes in women's sizes, and the Inov8's Fastlift 315 (women's) weren't coming out for months (and the price point on those was unknown).
These are decent for now but I think I'll spend the money on my next pair and buy a women's size in either Reebok or Inov8, unless Adidas decides to start selling lifting shoes in women's sizes.

Rated 5 out of 5Â by Richie W Two things: first, the color of the shoe, once it's out of the box, is a bit more silver-grey than pictured here; two, the fit is a bit narrow. It is, however, an excellent shoe. In general, you want a snug fit: most have recommended you order-down a size or half size, because of this. But, if you're like me, and have wide feet, just go ahead and order your normal sneaker size. I did, and am very happy with the fit. Primarily I use these to squat in. I do high-bar, close-stance olympic squats; and these are perfect for me. I am transitioning from using flat-soled shoes and find these help me to achieve depth and engage my quadriceps more. Really, I wish I had purchased them much sooner. They are practical, and attractive; and they sell for a great price. Shipping was very fast as well, and free. Highly recommended.

Rated 5 out of 5Â by SAGE Great Purchase!!
I got these shoes a couple of weeks ago. I have always just used my running shoes for working out and I just got tired not being able to stay balanced on some lifts. Then I bought these shoes. They are amazing! Automatically they bumped up my wights and increased form outrageously. These shoes will keep your feet flat on the floor when you need it the most. They will help with your balance when lifting overhead or squating. Overall they are great shoes for a weightlifter. I recommend these shoes to anybody that wants to make their time in the gym a whole lot better.

These are a solid pair of shoes for Olympic lifts with crossfitting, which is mostly how I am wearing them. I wouldn't wear them running, obviously, but for short distances and other endurance cardio like pullups, jumping rope, etc. they aren't too heavy like some OLY shoes. That was a priority for me.
In my Olympic lifts during a CF workout, I feel more stable now. I am not going super heavy, but I do execute challenging weight for myself and these are a good match for that.
As for fit, my foot is wide. These felt snug at first wearing, but after a few workouts, they were fine. As some have stated, I found the positioning of the velcro strap a bit odd. Whether you lace them to the top or to the eye holes just below the top, the velcro strap sits below that position. I wish the strap covered the laces when they are tied.

Rated 4 out of 5Â by hydrophilic Excellent all-around weight room shoes
If you like to lift weights, you'll probably like these shoes. They are stable enough for moderate deadlifts and squats, and more comfortable and flexible than pure olympic lifting shoes. I agree with other reviewers that they are not for competitive olympic lifters, but fine for those of uswho work cleans and snatches into our programs. Comfortable for walking, and you could probably sprint in them, though I have not tried. They seem well made and durable, but time will tell. They seem true to size, but a tiny bit on the small side, which is fine fo the purpose.

Since no local retailers stock these, I purchased them straight from Adidas. Shipping was much faster than I expected (got them overnight, on a Saturday, free shipping!).
I read many reviews, stating that these shoes run narrow; I wear an 11 1/2 US, I ordered these in 11 1/2 as well. The fit is absolutely perfect, no pinching or tightness, the shoes feel like they were tailor-made for my foot.
I lifted in them for the first time today and they performed well. During today's dead lifts (465 lbs) and squats (435 lbs), my foot didn't move one bit (inside or out), the shoes provided a solid platform for my lifts. Other reviews list sole compression as a concern, I didn't notice any instability during my lifts.
The shoes breathe well, my feet were never overly hot or sweaty, they are really, really comfortable.
The Power Lift Trainers also look great! It's a shoe you could wear outside without feeling embarrassed. I wouldn't recommend long walks or running in these, when I tried walking around the grocery store after the gym, they felt very stiff...not a minus, since these are purpose-built shoes. It's possible that after a break-in period, they may feel a bit different when performing non-weightlifting activities.
The shoes appear to be pretty durable, although I haven't had them long enough to state that conclusively. Still, the build quality looks superb, which is typical Adidas.
Overall, I couldn't be happier! If you're in the market for a great lifting shoe, you should really consider the Adidas Power Lift Trainer.

I bought these because I wrecked three pairs of running shoes in 18 months from lifting weights. All of those shoes collapsed under the heel and I could not safely squat or deadlift. These shoes have a sole that will never compress under weight like those foamy running shoes will. They fit true-to-size; make sure you get a size that will fit snugly to your foot so that it does not move around inside the shoe. Best of all, they look cool.

Rated 4 out of 5Â by Jason G. Nice shoes!... but for the right feet
These shoes do wonders for starting and intermediate lifters when it comes to leg / stablizing exercises.
What not to do...
Do not use these for walking / cardio workouts - the flat footed surface and tight fit is jarring on your joints/feet and will cause more wear and tear on your body than normal sneakers.
My particular issue...
I wear 10.5 to 11 - and these shoes fit perfectly for the most part. My main issue arrose when using them in the gym. Upon attempting to do a squat, the heel/sole support dug into the posterior lateral edges of my feet, near my heel. This also caused the medial arch support to be non-exsistant...
This is most likely a situational thing and might be remedied by a large size.
Other than that, these shoes work great for what they are designed for.
