Rated 5 out of 5 by Great training shoe, high on style too I got these RGIII trainers in the Blue colorway, and I absolutely love them. Supportive, stable, and the Boost cushioning feels amazing. The arch wrap is great, I feel really locked in. The Boost cushioning is nice and soft when I want it to be, but gives me that extra energy when I need it. When I'm out and about I undo the strap (it has velcro on the inside so you can wear it both ways) but in the gym I strap it up for that extra support. I feel like they could even work as an outdoor bball shoe, though I haven't had the chance to try that yet. I've received numerous compliments on the style too, everyone wants to know where I got them! August 18, 2014
Rated 2 out of 5 by Not typical Adidas Quality Just got these today and they are going back. Was not pleased with the material they used for the upper as it feels stiff and like plastic so when you flex the shoe the toe box pinches your toes. Pretty heavy shoe as well . The foam sole is nice as Adidas has the best foam soles in the market but this shoe would have been better with a suede or mesh upper to keep it flexible. Hopefully they do a second version. I bought these for lifting as I am a Bodybuilder but they just are not good for that. As of now gotta stick with my UA Cams. August 12, 2014
Rated 3 out of 5 by Jury Still Out I was excited to get these trainers as I'm a die-hard Skins fan, love RG3, and haven't experienced Boost yet. The Boost didn't disappoint and is the best cushioning system I've ever experienced. I do, though, have issues with the shoe's flexibility. The rigidity of the upper at the flexion zone on top of my feet has been difficult to break in. If I had tried these on at a store and the shoe felt this way, I wouldn't have purchased them. The stiffness, especially on the left foot, is almost painful until I have worn them for an extended time. I believe it's the plastic material that houses the eye holes for the laces. That needs to go! Besides that issue, the shoe is supportive and the cushioning is premium. I would like to see an update in more of a mesh material in order to improve flexibility. One of the best adidas trainers of a similar shoe was the "Feet You Wear" models of the late 90s. Merge that one with the Boost and you would have 5 stars! August 31, 2014
Rated 4 out of 5 by Training shoes that hold up I use the shoes for everything training or lifting related. While I will not use them for squats, they are incredibly durable and make your feet feel alive and willing to be picked up even when you're tired. The upper material is durable and holds my foot and ankle in place. This helps for when I am doing plyos or cutting drills. I would definitely recommend this for any athlete who wants to have quality and trusting footwear. Also the strap can lock in your ankle more or sit off to the side of your foot. I like that feature. The tread is perfect for any Turf field or indoor facilities. Felt great doing routes and stopping and going when needed. The boost is one of a kind when it comes to any trainer- this shoe is definitely better than any lightweight "trainer". Only gripe on the shoes are the strap could be slightly longer or the Velcro have more space to connect. Sometimes when I strap it on, I miss the connection and it un-connects. This is small tiny issue that not everyone will have. Great Trainer for the active athlete! August 23, 2014
