Rated 5 out of 5 by Great Lifting Shoe This is my first lifting shoe. I'm mostly squatting, dead lifting, and olympic lifting. We are in a strength cycle at the Crossfit Box I go to. The shoes run true to size, my foot is perfectly between an 8 and 8.5 so an 8 is too small and 8.5 just a tad bit too big. Either way though, they fit great and really have a solid platform to lift in. They definitely take some time getting used to as I lifted in five fingers before this. As any lifting shoe, they angle your foot so your heel is slightly higher than your toes. Getting used to this was hard, but I just pushed through and squatted a ton and now it feels very natural to lift in these. February 21, 2014
Rated 5 out of 5 by Great Lifting Shoe For the last 6 months, I've been borrowing a pair of the older Adidas Powerlift shoes from my coach for lifts at the gym (cleans, snatch, front/back squats, presses). It was time to get my own. I went with the Powerlift 2.0 based on the reviews of others and the price was right for my budget. The biggest thing I noticed right away doing squats was the solid footing it gave me. I really liked the feel and felt like I was able to press though the heels effectively. I wear a size 11 in everyday shoes, but ordered a 11 1/2 in the Powerlift shoes and they fit well. I wold definitely recommend these shoes to anyone looking for a good lifting shoe. December 30, 2013
Rated 5 out of 5 Very Satisfied Just as you would expect from Adidas, this shoe is very comfortable. After going from running shoes to these I feel WAY more stable doing squats and deads. The fit is just right and I have somewhat wide feet. I really feel grounded when doing squats now. The heel wedge height feels just right. Since I work out at home on rubber flooring these babies will never leave the house and should last a long time as they feel to be very well constructed. By the way, I bought the red, white, and blue color scheme and they look great! If I did go to a gym I'm sure they'd be noticed :) May 30, 2013
Rated 5 out of 5 by Outstanding Performance I purchased two pair of the Powerlift 2.0 for myself and son a couple weeks ago. The order was promptly received and well packaged. The shoes arrived in perfect condition, and all that we expected. We have worn our shoes now for five workouts so far and love them. These are a perfect shoe for squats and general workout use. We purchased the shoes based on our dress shoe size and they fit perfectly. My shoes felt a little snug when I first wore them and thought I should have increased the shoe by a half size. My foot is a bit wide, his more narrow. However, the shoe will conform to your foot within a couple workouts so don't be concerned. I would highly recommend these shoes to anyone that trains seriously. November 7, 2013
Rated 5 out of 5 by Squat low sweet chariots Was skeptical at first but undoubtedly an awesome shoe for squatting. The flat sole and hard cuff on the shoe provide much appreciated stabilization for the knees under heavier loads. The grip is awesome, theres no moving them after you plant your feet. All around great shoe. My only complaint is that the picture shown doesn't accurately portray the shoe. The picture shows them having a solid red strap (I got the blk/red ones) but they actually have a pattern like the blue model. June 2, 2013
Rated 5 out of 5 by Great shoes to squat in I was looking for good Oly lifting shoes. These are a good starters for the price. I like the fact that they stabilize my feet a lot when I squat and then I can focus more on the power. I have tried doing Oly lifting in them and it helps there too. Gives me great stability. However I haven't been very confident about doing the split jerk in them. Its just that Im used to doing that in very flexible shoes. Also, I got one size smaller and they were too tight but then I was too excited and worked out in them anyways. Now that they've been broken into, This size feels perfect very snug and sturdy. I don't feel that its too tight anymore. March 23, 2014
Rated 5 out of 5 by Amazing shoe This was my first pair of oly style lifting shoes and I instantly felt a huge difference in stability on my squats. With these I am able to hit atg depth with no problem. These things look amazing in person too. I got the blue ones and let me tell you they look way better in person, pictures dont do it justice. I personally like these 2.0 versions way better, cooler colors and style I think. I have a little bit wider feet than normal but these feel true to size and are nice and snug, not tight but really snug. May 31, 2013
Rated 5 out of 5 by Best Xmas gift ever! My beautiful girlfriend gave me these shoes for Christmas and I love them! They are a great improvement from my nanos when lifting heavy. I have pretty good flexibility and mobility in my ankles and feet so the usual 3/4 inch heels felt awkward for me. I feel very secure in these because the heel isn't as high. I did front squats and over head squats earlier today and the shoes were very comfortable. I can definitely tell a difference. I ordered a half size smaller than what I normally wear and they felt good. I would highly recommend these shoes to anyone looking for their first pair of Olys or anyone who is looking for a cheaper alternative to the very expensive lifting shoes January 2, 2014
Rated 5 out of 5 by Great weightlifting shoe Most of these reviews are from crossfitters or people who used to lift with "gym" or running shoes. I have had the Reebok Oly shoes for about 6 months and loved them, since switching from my standard shoe. After having these, i like them a lot better than the Reeboks because it almost seemed as if the heel was too high on the Reeboks. Not by a lot, but the slightest bit. The Adidas are very comfortable and stable. Because you cant try these on anywhere, i was told to compare them to a standard Adidas shoe for size comparison. I had an 11 Samba, so i ordered a 10.5 in these. They would still fit well, maybe even a little better if i went to a 10. The colors look really cool, but i haven't had them long so im not sure yet about durability. But at $90, im not as worried. My Reeboks were $150 and the top of the shoe is pretty worn out after 6 months, the sole and heel are still in perfect shape. I would definitely buy another pair. June 14, 2013
Rated 5 out of 5 by Great shoe great value I bought these shoes for highschool lifting. I would always use my friends adipowers the 200 dollar ones and I loved them and then I decided to get my own pair the adipowers to expensive so I decided to give these a shot. I love them the heel isn't as high as I would prefer but never the less they are great! Great for stability and the biggest thing for me prevent you from leaning forward on a big weight clean I can catch 275 pounds with ease which is a lot for a 169 pounder I recommend them to any high school weight lifter doing cleans and snatches they make a huge difference February 23, 2014

Rated 4 out of 5 by Solid, stylish, good beginner shoe Olympic lifting shoes are great for 2 reasons: Improving ankle Range Of Motion, and creating stability with the floor. If you don't have ankle mobility issues you do not need a 1" raised heel, and thats what is great about this shoe. It provides all the stability you need for Oly Lifting and Front Squats, but doesnt raise the heel too much for those who don't need it. The toe box is just a tiny bit loose if you have a narrow foot, but overall the fit is snug, as you would expect, and the shoe is solid on the ground. I have been against Oly shoes for 3 years because I always thought they were only for those who lacked ankle mobility, however, the extra ground contact/surface area that Oly shoes provides significantly helps. If you're looking for your first pair of weightlifting shoes, and you have good ankle mobility, these are a win in my book! And they look super cool too. July 29, 2013
Rated 5 out of 5 by Excellent lifting shoe Very good lifting shoe. Good support and stable throughout lifts. Excellent transaction process and very quick shipping. June 6, 2013
Rated 5 out of 5 by Great Investment Great stability. These are a must for anyone who squats, deadlifts, snatch, clean etc. on a regular basis. You will feel a substantial difference in stability and ROM. I have poor hip flexibility so I wasn't able to get full ATG squats wearing the 5 finger shoes I lifted in. With these I can get ATG easily without falling forward at all. I wasn't sure about these when I ordered them but would do it again in a heartbeat after wearing them I'm a 13 in most Asics and Nike shoes but I ordered 12 in these. Fit snug but not too tight. Rated 5 out of 5 by Awesome lifting shoes! I primarily got these shoes for power cleans, snatches, front squats, and low and high bar back squats. For those lifts, they definitely help a lot in terms of stability and alignment. They were quite stiff and awkward to walk around in at first but after breaking them in for two gym sessions, they felt much better! Also, they do run a bit narrow so consider going half a size bigger if you have wide feet like I do. All in all, these were a great option for me as they were affordable (all the higher end ones are around $200) and come in nice flashy colours (I got the blue and orange ones, and they stand out at the gym for sure). I would recommend these for anyone looking for dedicated squating and olympic lifting shoes!!! December 8, 2013
Rated 4 out of 5 by Overall great shoe This is a great pair of shoes. This is the first pair of lifting shoes I had. Everybody was telling me to by nike romalaoes but I didn't want to spend $200. I like these shoes because they are made of high quality material. I have had them two weeks now and the only complaint I have is that these shoes hurt your feet but they have gotten a little better. I feel very stable when doing snatches, jerks, cleans, and squats. I would recommend this shoe. April 12, 2014
Rated 5 out of 5 by Great lifting shoes! These are my first pair of lifting shoes and they were well worth the purchase. I can definitely feel the difference a slightly raised heel and non-compressible sole makes with my squats and deadlifts. Additionally, the shoes make you feel firmly planted on the floor at all times - which is fantastic. Hopefully this pair lasts for a long time! July 30, 2013
Rated 5 out of 5 by Great Shoes... I use to compete as an Olympic Lifter back in the 80's and had used the blue and white suede lifting shoes with wooden heels. They we're a great pair of lifting shoes, a bit heavy but great nonetheless. Now I find that these Powerlift 2.0 Shoes are much lighter and with the same comfort and support as my old faithful. June 22, 2013
Rated 5 out of 5 by Review of powerlift 2.0 Great shoes. Was able to instantly lift more the moment I put them on my feet. The built in rais ed heels keep your heels down and in contact with the floor preventing you from going up on your toes. Great price. Love the fact Adidas has free shipping. I am a loyal Adidas customer and I am happy. June 26, 2013
Rated 5 out of 5 by i love them i was a little bit skeptic at the beginning, iam not a crossfiter, i powerlift and weightlift before it was cool, so when i saw lots of crossfiters buying them i wasnt sure about them, i have a pair of do wins and wei ruis, i dont use them anymore, this ones are perfect, the sole height, everything about them, matter of fact iam buying a pair for my girl right now, so dont think twice, if u a real lifter dont look away because of the crossfiters, great shoes, great price n also nice looking February 4, 2014

Rated 5 out of 5 by I got my pair this week, I ordered the red and black pair. I agree with pretty much everyone else that has commented, they look much better than the picture. They met all my expectations and made me much more stable for squats and dead lifts. The size was perfect, if you don't have the ability to try them on in a store before placing an order, I recommend going into any store and finding the perfect size Adidas Samba because the size is identical. October 25, 2013
Rated 5 out of 5 by Great weightlifting shoe! After a gym friend recommended trying a proper weightlifting shoe, I ordered the Powerlift 2.0. I have been extremely impressed and never would have guessed that they would make such a difference. The stability and support for the squats, deadlfts, and overhead presses that I do is fantastic. The shoes are very comfortable, and have proven to be durable so far (8 months of use). Very good "bang for the buck" and highly recommended overall. March 14, 2014
Rated 5 out of 5 by Quality lifting shoe for *most* trainees The Powerlift 2.0 is a high quality shoe for the beginner & intermediate lifter. The heel is less firm than wood-heeled premium shoes, but surprisingly stable. This means it is easier to walk in than a "pure" lifting shoe, but also not as secure. The sole can get slick on even lightly damp surfaces - CrossFitter beware, if you plan to use these in box jump/overhead lunge/other outdoor WODs. The shoe breathes well, but doesn't hug the foot quite how leather does. It fit true to size by European sizing. It's those "buts" you would look to see corrected in a higher-quality shoe - leather or foot-forming upper, wood heel, tacky sole. Plus, a dedicated lifting shoe is for: A) a competitive weightlifter or B) an advanced trainee. If you've never worn lifting shoes or are in your first year of serious training, this is the right shoe for you. If you've owned premium lifting shoes, are a competitive weightlifter, or are squatting serious weights multiple times per week, you shouldn't be considering this shoe. Colors are vivid, laces are just right in length, and the strap provides useful mid-foot support without being restrictive. I also like the Powerlift for kettlebells, as the heel is slightly lower than a pure weightlifting shoe, which is more comfortable during long sets. Overall, a great lifting shoe that is most appropriate for the first-timer, the intermediate trainee, or the non-competitive lifter. October 30, 2013
Rated 5 out of 5 by Great Lifting Shoe These shoes provide just enough lift and support to be helpful for beginner, or intermediate lifters. The sizing is about true to size, but you could probably go a 1/2 size lower if you have narrower feet. What I like best about the shoes is that feel great, they're comfortable, but solid and stable at the same time. After using them for a while they hold up well. There is more flexibility with the rubber sole than other shoes. If you want lifting shoes that don't compress at all at high weights (anything over 500) than go for a solid sole, but these are perfect for transitioning if you've never used a wedge heel lifting shoe before. The other benefit is if you want to use these for strongman training. Other shoes with a harder wedge are less forgiving when training strongman, but these shoes have been great for Viking's presses, stone loads, and axle presses. February 23, 2014
Rated 5 out of 5 by Great shoe!!! I absolutely love these shoes. I bought these shoes so I could have a bit more stability for an Olympic lifting competition I'm participating in. From the first time I put these shoes on nothing but comfortable. I even PR'd my squat snatch the first day. I felt very stable with these shoes and didn't rock forward during heavy lifts. I would highly recommend these shoes to anyone wanting to get a bit if an edge for lifts. February 5, 2014
Rated 4 out of 5 by Solid investment 2.0 power lifters provide good stability. The shoes have a sturdy platform and require a short break in period. The benefits were immediate with help on overhead squats and pistols. The shoes can't make up for poor mobility but they assist in providing better foot/ankle stability. The fit is snug. I wear a true 11 ordered 11. They were tight on length and a little roomy in the heal cup. Wouldn't order larger size. February 15, 2014
Rated 5 out of 5 by First Power lifting Shoes Finally used them yesterday w/ front squats and noticed a difference immediately. Usually my right ankle and knee feels stressed on heavy loads due to an old injury. I felt nothing but stability. They seemed a little narrow towards the toes (i have extremely flat feet) but they seem to stretch out a bit. Looking forward to using them. February 11, 2014
Rated 4 out of 5 by Satisfied Just tried out the Adidas Powerlift shoes today for the first time and I was quite impressed. I usually wear the five finger Adidas shoes but the Powerlift shoes came in real handy! I still have to get used to them but I am sure I'll make some great gains with them. I definitely recommend these shoes for the serious lifters. February 17, 2014
Rated 4 out of 5 by Finally Long time lifter (40+ years), I have never worn weightlifting shoes, but with bad knees thought the time was right. Rated 5 out of 5 by great for squats I bought a size 12 on cyber Monday because that's the size of my running shoe. it was too big and so I exchange the product over the phone for a size 11 they are a little snug but adidas did a great job with the exchange! I HAD NO PROBLEMS with the exchange! I recommend them January 9, 2014
Rated 5 out of 5 by Does the job Bought the shoes mainly to squat. Initial form was thrown off but quickly adjusted. Now I use them for most of my main movements (deadlifts, bench, OHP). Firm sole, true to size fit but a bit narrow which was to be expected from Adidas. Great lifting shoe at a great price. March 6, 2014
Rated 4 out of 5 by Squat went up Day one, and squat already went up. Lifting shoes work. They fit my narrow feet well, which is uncommon in most other types of shoes. I think these Addidas have experienced size inflation like every other shoe out there. I got a size 10, but I might be able to use a 9.5. January 7, 2014
Rated 5 out of 5 by Powerlift 2.0 Great shoe, Been doing crossfit for a little and finely got a pare of lifting shoes. It changed my life they make your lifts feel so much better. you feel planted on the ground. I am sure the $200 shoes do the same thing so for the price of these 2.0s cant beat it. February 17, 2014
Rated 5 out of 5 by Good value for all lifts. Runs narrow. Nice snug fit. I have a very narrow foot, 8.5-9 women's. 6.5 men's fits. Will stretch out/compress after a few hours. Very secure in heels for squat. Lower heel good for deadlift too. Comfortable. Can wear all day at gym. Bought for my high school boy as well. December 29, 2013
Rated 5 out of 5 by Adidas Powerlift shoes Great if you are in the weight lifting or in a sport that needs to train hard. The wide stability base gives the right position, comfort and confidence to make the work. Size is OK and colors are nice. A must you need to have in your Weight trainning. December 17, 2013
Rated 5 out of 5 by Gotta have the right tool As the saying goes, you gotta have the right tool for the job. These shoes were the right tool. definitely helped stabilize my feet in my initial pull. Rated 5 out of 5 by Great shoes! These are my first lifting shoes and I highly recommend them! They are comfortable and I am now able to squat deeper and easier. The raised heel does not feel awkward at all and it gives me that help I need from my tight hip flexors. Drew December 23, 2013
Rated 5 out of 5 by Super Fast Shipping Ordering was a breeze - Shipping was unbelievably fast. The fit appears to be true to size. I did not go down as recommended as I have a wide foot - glad I didn't. I am ready to get under some heavy weights to feel the stability. December 2, 2013

Rated 4 out of 5 by Great shoes I bought these for my husband (who has been powerlifting for years) and he loves them. I only gave the shoes 4 stars because I wish they came in a wide size as well since my husband has flat feet. Other than that they are great! February 12, 2014
Rated 3 out of 5 by Snug The sole could be stiffer. Also if you have a slightly wide foot, you will find the toe box very tight. I ended up going 1/2 size up. The length of 11 is dead on, it was just too tight. The laces are also ridiculously long. January 27, 2014
Rated 5 out of 5 by Great Weightlifting Shoe Wanted a shoe made for weight training and these are perfect. Makes your stance very stable! I wear 10.5 in all Adidas shoes (except my Boost Running Shoes) and they fit like a glove. I would order your normal size. Thanks December 13, 2013
Rated 4 out of 5 by very stylish while practical Everyone is asking me about my 2.0's They look great and when I squat at the gym I feel very stable. I just wish they made the sole of the heel more durable, it wears out too easily when walking. Overall its a great shoe. October 10, 2013
Rated 5 out of 5 by You can tell the difference. These shoes are great I've been working out for years and never thought about buying lifting shoes, but then I decided why not and you can feel the difference squatting feels easier and you can go deep down no problem. March 18, 2014
Rated 5 out of 5 by Best online shopping experience The online experience was great! The shoes are comfortable and elegant in their own way. The shoes provide a whole new experience for squat, over-head squat, clean and jerk, and snatch. I highly recommend these shoes. March 20, 2014
Rated 5 out of 5 by Great shoe! I've never owned weightlifting shoes before, but I am really enjoying these. I do crossfit type workouts in my garage and these work great. Very stable and study shoes for all kinds of lifts! I highly recommend them! June 26, 2013
Rated 5 out of 5 by Definitely worth the money These shoes are awesome. The fit is great and the shoes are of great quality. These shoes are great for those doing Squats and/or Leg Press. I was able to increase my weight on both Squats and Leg Press. September 6, 2013

Rated 5 out of 5 by Lower and more stable squats I've been doing random things in the gym for a few years but only started lifting seriously ever since I had a taste of crossfit over this summer. Our crossfit box dedicated one day solely to powerlifting and ever since I got back to university, I've been lifting (lower weights) with my buddy who is preparing for a heavy weight bodybuilding competition in two months. I usually wear a size 10.5 because I have wider feet so when I first got the size 10, I considered returning them and reordering a 10.5. After a day of wearing them at the gym, I broke into them comfortably (to my surprise), and now they fit perfectly like no other. After my first squat with these shoes, all I had to say to my buddy was "wow..." I used to use Nike Free Runs for lifting and I'd always end up rocking my feet during squats, but this keeps my feet stuck to the ground and allows me to go way lower. I think it also helps keep my body in one position when doing upper body workouts standing up because of the flat and solid bottom. For that extra support to really lock in your feet, though, definitely take advantage of the straps in the middle, they do make a difference. August 23, 2013
