Rated 5 out of 5 by The only shoes I wear I have 5 pairs of Adipure Trainers (2 pair are still new and in the closet for when my current ones wear out). I bought the first generation when they hit the market and haven't stopped since. For years I wore VFFs but with my large feet they only had one make/model that fit. When the Adipure came out I was hooked. I have both the lace and slip-on but prefer the slip-on for convenience. I use them for everything, e.g. weight lifting, running, cycling, walking around, etc. I live in MN so I hate the winter when I have to wear cold-weather footwear. Too bad there's not an Adipure Arctic model! June 29, 2013
Rated 5 out of 5 by Great improvement I decided to purchase these after owning the original version for almost a full year now. My only compalint is that i should have gotten a half size smaller then what I wear in regular laced shoes (13). I ended up geting a full size smaller (12) & they are snug but doable. Im hoping they expand with sweat/heat like my 1st pair. The silk-like material on the upper is a nice change but hopefully it does not negatively affect the durablity of the shoe. The colors (dark onix) are not as portrayed in the online catalog. They are more grey than "dark anything"- Just a heads up... February 14, 2013
Rated 1 out of 5 by What Happened I want to say I have some of the origianl pair of Adipure shoes they were and still are amazing. I ordered this model expecting the same feel and comfort only to be completely up set. The biggest Problem with this shoe was they added a Back piece that restricts the movement in the heal unlike the original models which didnt have the restrictive loop. I'm not sure if this was just an attempt to add more design to the shoe but it certainly took away from the foots movement pattern making the shoe essentially unwearable for any activity other then sitting. Walk in the shoes for 15 minutes or more and the back loop will give you a blister. The older model I have I not only workout in I do cardio in. WHAT HAPPENED? September 16, 2013
Rated 5 out of 5 by Near Great! Recently I bought the blue ones. After a few days these shoes felt great for the most part. Actually I give these shoes four and a half stars. Less bulky than the predecessor but both are better than the Five Fingers and Skeletoes, and more sturdy than the Fut Glove brands. These are training shoes and are good for training and walking, period! Like the shoes say, these are training shoes. With that in mind, toe separation is great, dispite one of the toe slots being too long. Adidas needs to continue to manufacture these shoes. Do not listen to critics or fear tactics! Go Adidas, Go Adidas, Go Adidas, Go! Keep up the great work! May 7, 2014
Rated 4 out of 5 by It's an adjustment The fit is just slightly too large, not a half size--maybe a quarter. Putting them on is more like pulling on a pair of gloves than putting on a pair of shoes; once you've realized that, donning them is easy enough. The soles are about the thickness of sprinting shoes, a little thicker than I expected, but still sufficiently thin that you carry your weight more on the balls of your feet than normal, almost like being barefoot. I haven't yet given them a full workout, but the liner could breathe better and/or be more absorbent. My feet are sweating, and it's not like you can wear socks with them. January 22, 2014
Rated 5 out of 5 by excellent These shoes are so amazing......when I first put them on they were a little difficult to put on but once I had them on there amazing....one thing I notice is when your have long toenails the tip of your nails will start hurting. Other than that. Their amazing. There super light. I actually had to go up a size than my normal shoes size. Oh yeah if your having problems getting them on you can also grab some toe socks to help guide your toes to the right area....bit I'm glad I bought these I believe I will be buying another pair but the female version though. Rated 5 out of 5 by Finally First off, I never write product reviews (just don't have much time to do so) but I had to make an exception for these shoes. I am a bigger dude (6' 2" and 255#) and I have been wanting try these "toe shoes" for a long time. Out of the box they were amazingly comfortable. During my workouts they have been even better. I could even see running a 5k in them (nothing longer). I hope that Adidas reads this review and decides to keep making this shoe in larger sizes (up to 16 please). I will definitely be buying another pair just for walking around. Thank you Adidas for making these shoes for a Sasquatch like me! Keep it up! December 15, 2013
Rated 5 out of 5 by Great Purchase! I never had any interest in these toe shoes before; I hadn't found a pair that I thought looked cool enough to buy until I saw these! The reviews I read seemed good and I really liked the way they looked so I pulled the trigger. My order came in last night and I was very happy. These are probably the most comfortable shoes that I have ever tried on (and I have over 40 pairs). They look as awesome in person as they do in the pictures. I am more than satisfied and will be purchasing again. - I have read that these shoes run small, but I ordered my regular size and they came in perfect; just something to think about. March 6, 2014
Rated 5 out of 5 by Awesome I use these for the Insanity: Asylum program, and they feel absolutely perfect for it. Especially for the agility ladder portions of the workout, the Adipure Trainers help me feel much more light and balanced. Truly awesome. February 15, 2013
