Rated 5 out of 5 by Fantastic Shoe When it comes to durability, this is the shoe. I have played in Barricade 6s and I believed they were a great shoe. That is, until I used these. Barricade 7s are a HUGE step up from the 6s. They are more comfortable and breathable, while still maintaining the same superb durability. My first pair was purchased December 2011, and I have bought more since then. I keep my first pair in rotation (six pairs) and I still have yet to wear out my first pair. I STRONGLY reccomend this shoe. It is literally the best all around tennis shoe I've ever worn. I will be stocking up before the 8 comes out this summer (just incase!) Side note: I love the style. I wear these off the court as well all the time. January 28, 2013
Rated 5 out of 5 by Great Shoe!!! This shoe is fantastic! It fits like a glove! The ventilation is great, and it is really stable. Also, it looks really cool too! It is very comfortable and fits well for the most part. The only down side is the cost. But for what you get, it is actually a decent value! November 14, 2012
Rated 1 out of 5 by Manufacturing defects I had the previous year's version of the barricade shoe and love them and still wear them. When this newer style came out I jumped all over it and forked out $130. I did receive them quickly, however, the left shoe had a very uncomfortable arch on the inside portion. There was a very high and hard bump which was not in the right shoe. I returned them for another pair thinking a simple manufacturer defect. When the new pair arrived the left shoe of that pair had the same defect, and friends said the same thing. I will not buy adidas online anymore unless I try them on in a store. December 7, 2012
Rated 5 out of 5 by Great durability I rarely wear out shoes from the top, but soles go smooth in 6 months. I upgraded to the Barricade shoes on a recommendation. They run small 1/2 size. But I have narrow feet an a high arch, so no problem for my normal 10 1/2. Needs a little break in time. but the soles wear like iron. My first pair is a year old and still look almost new. I bought a second pair on sale and love 'em. Only wear on the courts - 4-5 time a week. Bought a pair for my son (age 37) and he got blisters first time wearing. He has a similar foot, but doesn't play as often, so maybe feet a little tender for first wear. April 23, 2013
Rated 5 out of 5 by Adipower Barricade Shoes The receiver of this gift had never owned Barricades. With my recommendation, he researched it and fell in love with it. He is now one happy guy and I'm sure these shoes would improve his tennis game. November 27, 2012
Rated 2 out of 5 by Not impressed. Good looking but not comfortable! I rarely write reviews but felt inclined to since I was very excited to get these shoes, ponied up the $130+/-, and was then VERY disappointed. I bought them strictly to use on the tennis courts. First time I used them it was blister city. I gave them a second chance thinking it was maybe my socks. Second time around, same thing. Even worse blisters. Also, what annoyed me more was the slight clicking sound they made with every step. The part between the second and third lace eyelet caused this. You know when you hear a weird sound, click, or rattle when driving your car? Imagine that following you everywhere... Ahhhhhhhh!!!! :) I wanted to like them because they are a good looking shoe, but sadly not functional. On a positive note, Adias happily accepted my return with a full refund. (Sorry Andy. I play with your HEAD racket but can't get down with your shoes.) November 28, 2012
Rated 3 out of 5 by not impress Pros - they look awesome! - good grip - soft in the heel Cons - a bit heavy - front of the foot sole is hard - takes awhile to break in, resulting in aching feet and blisters December 7, 2012
Rated 5 out of 5 by Great Shoe for Bigs This is the shoe for a big man who plays tennis. I weigh quite a bit more than the average tennis player and this is the one shoe that can hang with a large athletic type. Plus if you have wide feet, this is definitely your shoe. I can break these shoes in one session and they look good too. March 10, 2013
Rated 4 out of 5 by Nice shoes you can wear in and out of the courts. I liked the styling and form of the shoes. It has nice support and balance and makes you feel safe running around the court. And because of its lightness and nice looks I can also wear it outside of the courts for a quick trip to the stores. December 25, 2012

Rated 4 out of 5 by Needs time for break-in, but great shoe It took a couple weeks to get these shoes really broken in, but they're definitely worth the discomfort and effort. I'd suggest good, snug socks and first-aid tape and super-glue to protect from blisters. January 19, 2013
Rated 5 out of 5 by Great Tennis Shoe I've been wearing the Barricade shoe since it came out, and each one gets better than the previous model. I love them. Fits true to size and are very durable . March 26, 2013
Rated 5 out of 5 by Very good These are the only shoes I use for tennis. Sometimes I use them off the court. Too me they are pretty comfortable. January 4, 2013
Rated 2 out of 5 by Adidas: Love the Style and the Colors Shoes are a bit narrow in the heel. All other features are great. Just can't play in a shoe with a narrow heel. January 24, 2013
