As a high school varsity player, these shoes helped me get where I am now. I had previously used Barricade Team shoes, but they cannot compare to the real deal. The seamless design makes them comfortable and light. The torsion system in the heel makes mobility easier. The two claws near the front provide great stability. The two 360° rotation circles on the bottom of the shoe make changes in directions on different spots of the foot smoother. The adiPRENE cushions provide maximum comfort on and off the court. Very easy to break in, no matter what type of tennis player you are. Works well on clay court as well as hard court. I would recommend this shoe to any tennis player.

I got these shoes 4 months ago. The break-in time was astonishingly short, they felt comfortable and well used after one 2 hour practice. They're less stiff than the 6.0, and flex more around the middle of your foot. This was a great improvement. Also, the addition of the thicker padding on the outside of the shoe, near the big toe, was great, as it is much harder to put a hole in them if you drag your foot sideways on the ground. However, the I've ripped through the outsole within 4 months. Any other Barricade shoe I've had has lasted at least 6 months. But other than the slightly shorted lifespan, this is an all around improvement on the 6.0

Barricade 7, Adidas' Flagship Tennis Shoe, little to no break in, not heavy, nice fit, very comfortable, I got mine 1/2 size larger so that my toes dont get pinched on sudden stops-fits just right, plenty of wiggle room for the toes, arch support is good and conforms to your arch in a short time-did mine-pronated feet. Dont forget the Adidas Formotion Socks with ankle and arch support-Adidas Flagship Socks.

Rated 4 out of 5Â by Tennis Bum First top of the Line Shoe
Been playing for two years. I usually buy a second tier shoe as I didnt believe my game was at a level that would justify the price a top of the line shoe warrants. But with an improved game came a need for a better shoe. I researched all major brands and decided on the Barricade 7.0. Better shoes do make a difference in your game. The arch is higher than other shoes I have worn but they will feel just right after a day on the court. Fit true to size.
On the court they are the bomb. Better traction, more confidence in transitions and no discomfort right out of the box. Only issue is concern about how the synthetic uppers will wear - are any cracks or tears in the future. Also, other shoes would leave my achilles tendon sore, not these.
I believe I have found a shoe I will stick with for life. Thanks Adidas

These shoes have good stability and seem to be very durable. The inside of the shoe is comfortable and fits around my feet very well. Beware: the arches are very high and may cause unwanted break in pain.
In my opinion they are one of the best tennis shoes on the market.

This a a great mix of light weight, great support, excellent traction and offers competitive players the ability to rapidly change direction. In addition it is great to put on a shoe that does not need breaking in to fit well. Highly recommended.
