Set Fire to a Frozen Field
I bought my Sambas about a year ago on clearance as a plan-b. I hated them at first. They felt too long, stiff, and difficult to maneuver in. I bought them to replace my aging vans as my recreational trainer, and things weren't looking good.
But once I broke them in, they become an extremely natural and comfortable fit. I really began to wear them all the time! They might fit well with every other outfit I wear, but it wasn't until I wore them out while I ran through the icy streets and parks of Chicago in the early fall did I seriously begin to love my Sambas. When they finally came into their element, what they were originally designed for. Frozen fields.
My college Ultimate Frisbee team practices year round, and that does mean we play in the winter, so my Classic Sambas initially replaced my current running shoes simply because they weren't mesh. It soon became evident however, that they outperformed my old running shoe in every way on the field. The gum outsole grip provided me with a confident grip, while still allowing me to maintain an even balance between sliding & stopping, a must for the skilled ultimate player. The "soccer fit" of the shoe provides comfort during long matches, and the leather protects my feet from the elements or other players sharp cleats, while still allowing me with enough flexibility for tricky landings if my feet meet the ground at odd angles.
But seriously, my favorite thing about the Adidas Samba, is when you put it all together, no other shoe I've ever worn can out perform it in a dead sprint on cold grass. I'm not kidding. These shoes might be a bit heavy, but when I'm sprinting all out across the field to catch a long pass, dashing over mud and ice, dodging and weaving around defenders, and finally leaping off the Earth to make that all important catch in the end zone, no other shoe provides me with the fit, grip, and most importantly, the speed I need to make moves like that.
Where other shoes might catch, slip, drag, or give to a frosty pitch, my Sambas never quit. The Adidas Samba is the best shoe for playing Ultimate on frozen fields. Period.

Best indoor soccer shoes
Really like this shoes, the only improvements I would recommend would be more width options and maybe replacing the tongue with a leather tongue like the ones found in the Samba Millenium option

The perfect shoes.
I've had these shoes for the past 5 years or so and I just buy a new pair when my old ones break. So far this is my third pair which talk very good about its durability. The only thing I am waiting is for Adidas to make them in every single color.

Shoes for my son
I bought these particular shoes for my son who has had a hard economic time. Took themm over to his house, where he had shower, had a friend cut his hair and dressed nicely. When he put the shoes on, his regular size 12 was way too small. Even the idea of "breaking them in" wouldn't pass.
I went to Foot Locker and they told me that Adidas shoes are regularly sized low. I still paid the 11 dollar plus UPS shipping fee to send them back to you. I may try a half a size or a full size larger, depending on what my son Brian says. For some reason he really likes your Sambas, even though don't think he's owned anything but Converse before. This is one of the big negatives about shipping on line. And not know the thing about the sizing small.

Great comfortable shoes
these are my 2nd pair, just as great as the 1st. wear them for indoor soccer and just as a whatever shoe, lasts a pretty long time. very comfy, well made and look pretty slick. Tounge is big but i just fold it over the laces. hope this pair lasts as long as my 1st.

they are super comfy, look great, but dont buy if ju wear baggy pants, they look bad, so just were skinny jeans

Great way to purchase shoes
The only thing that I didn't like about my purchase was that the shoe itself was a little narrow and wasn't big enough for my feet, so I gave them to my brother. It would be nice if they were made for a wider width since they are also known as shoes comfortable to wear anywhere. But other than that, the shoe and purchase process was very good to me. If i'd've chose the right size shoe I would be wearing them until they were pretty worn or, of course, gotten another pair. Very convenient way of getting your favorite shoe.

sweet deal
sometimes one is not sure whether the product online will look exactly the same way when your product arrives but I tell ya this samba is classic. its very comfortable and goes with blue, black or white jeans.
i have totally falling in love with mine since I bought it and the leather quality quarantee durability. these shoes are also doing great for me in my indoor soccer. very ideal willl buy another color soon
