Rated 5 out of 5 by Ultra comfortable - Great for overpronation. This shoe is amazing. I've been searching and researching for a long time looking for good running shoes. I'm 5'10", 260 lbs. I'm really overweight and needed good shoes to help with impact and cushion while providing stability for my overpronation #stepping on the outside of the foot and rolling inward#. These are great. I've had them for a few weeks and have put about 15 miles on them and they're absolutely the best running shoes for my running style. The shoe size I got was a 10.5 and the width is medium, but the way these are built makes them a little wider than normal, which is perfect because I have a wide foot. Highly recommended. Rated 4 out of 5 by NOT overly cushioned In short: the Boost Seq7 runs like a lighter weight motion control shoe. Very secure and not very cushioned. I've run in the Seq7 4 times since getting them 2 weeks ago. I also run in pairs of Seq6 and Seq5. The Seq7 is the lightest, and best fitting, but LEAST cushioned of these. Adidas has dropped the weight big-time from the Seq5 and fixed the sloppy/loose heel issue with the Seq6 but the switch from Adiprene+ to Boost makes the shoe LESS cushioned underfoot. As a larger runner, I was hoping for just the opposite. June 11, 2014
Rated 5 out of 5 by Love Em,' had to Get Another!! It is hard to decide which shoe is better, the Glide Boost 6's, or the Sequence 7's. The unsung hero of both models is the breathable mesh. The mesh is great for longer runs and is very comfortable. The reason why the Sequence 7's are so good is because they are great stability shoes. They do what they are designed to do. They are not as cushy as the Glide Boosts, but they promote a smoother ride for overpronators. Once you get going, the cushion is where it needs to be. I bought the black/infrared pair and fell in love, but once Adidas released the navy blue, that was right down my alley! For those that were expecting a bouncier step, I would recommend the Energy Boosts (for skinnier feet) or the Adistar Boosts (for anyone). The Adistar Boosts covers the most range of applications. If you're looking for a relatively light stability trainer, get the Sequence 7's. Adidas has definitely improved upon the mistakes they made with the Sequence 6's. August 18, 2014
Rated 3 out of 5 by Decent I thought the boost foam would soften up a shoe a bit more. It's still a pretty stiff, clunky shoe like past versions. Stability is still there, but the bounce is not anything like the other Boost shoes. I have a narrowish, but medium width foot, but this shoe fits pretty snug through the midfoot. The upper isn't as comfortable as it could be. The plastic eyelets are a little harsh. Seems durable though... The laces are really long. All-in-all, I am glad the the shoe is a bit lighter and it does feel smoother than previous versions, but just still feels too clunky to me. I had higher hopes for the shoe since I loved the Energy Boost, but need something with stability. Probably not a shoe I'll buy again. July 8, 2014
Rated 3 out of 5 by Boo I am really disappointed in the color offerings of all of the recent shoes Adidas has been putting out... I like BRIGHT shoes. These are all so boring. And why are colors so gender specific- i have to wear mens shoes becasue womens shoes are ALWAYS too narrow and I don't want pink. But all colors should be offered for all shoes regardless of the pink/purple is for girls... blue is for boys nonsense. Its 2014. Get with it. July 24, 2014
Rated 4 out of 5 by Good shoes I've been wearing Supernova Sequence shoes for quite a few years now. Overall, I'm happy with this model. The cushion throughout the shoe feels good. The difference that I've noticed from the Sequence 6 is in the rubber sole; it's more streamlined in the forefoot and the rear/heel area. I haven't had a chance to run on wet sidewalks, so I can't say if the grip of the rubber sole has improved. I know that previous models tended to slip. August 7, 2014
