Rated 5 out of 5 by This may be the one I've been a runner since high school and am now nearly 65. Thus, I have worn hundreds of different shoes over the decades. I've been a big fan of the Supernova Cushion and Glides (although the Glide 5 was a dud# and have gone through numerous pairs. But this new Glide 6 is just possibly the best shoe I have ever tried #trying to resist hyperbole). Love the very natural feel and especially the forefoot cushioning. My feet really love them. If there is any room for improvement, I think it might help to have a slightly wider toe box. Even so, they felt just a little narrow when I first put them on, but during the runs, no problem. Good work, Adidas. February 24, 2014
Rated 5 out of 5 by A Definite Upgrade I was looking for a shoe to replace my all time favorite Supernova Sequence 5 because the Sequence 6's were not my cup of tea. I bought the Energy Boosts, which were great for walking, but the Techfit material fit too snug around the toe box area for me. The Supernova Glide 6 Boost are a perfect combination of the true Supernova upper mesh with the cushy Boost foam technology. I normally wear stability shoes, which is why I like the Sequence 5's, but the Supernova Glide 6 Boosts have enough support for my overpronation. This shoe is great for anybody! If you run at a faster pace, these shoes are a great trainer. The Adios Boosts are lighter and sleeker for faster paced runners. You won't be disappointed by the Supernova Glide 6 Boost. Rated 1 out of 5 by Glide Boost Custom Order Dimensions Ordered a custom colors Glide Boost for the Boston Marathon. Shoes arrived on time and looked great, but something did not feel right every time I ran in them. Had trained 100's of miles in an off the shelf pair, but the custom shoes were like putting on a something completely different upon comparing numerous dimensions of these shoes (same size), vs. my existing pair, measurement differences were everywhere. Angles, seams, sole strike points, excess material ripples, height...differences from 1/8' all the way to 3/4" differences. Otherwise, this was my favorite shoe. It's just that the custom option seems to not have exact quality controls in place April 23, 2014
Rated 5 out of 5 by Possibly best shoe purchase to date. Neutral: runners dream. Shoe feels very light and I can feel the boost technology! I intend to use this for a milage shoe, though recently race a 10k on a very wet day - felt great. Grip: Continental rubber is PERFECT, gives you the edge in wet conditions. Size: Wearing a half size makes this shoe fit perfectly! Support/ cusioning: As a neutral / fore/ midfoot runner it's got what you need for more milage than a racing flat - which is what I bought the shoes for. Fit: Feel the shoe gives great support gripping the ankle. The top of the foot feels secure and feet are a good fit. Lacing: Allows you to get a snug fit without constricting your feet. Top Material: GREAT! Previous shoes have had mesh and have generally ripped along sides (not because of wide feet). December 22, 2013
Rated 5 out of 5 by Two pairs is three times as good as one Bought a pair of S'nova Glide 6 Boost about a month ago. Loved them. Pitched two older S'nova Glide pairs (a Glide 3 and a Glide 5). So impressed after two weeks I bought a second pair to put into rotation. Not sure when my remaining pair of 3, 4 or 5 will get used. February 18, 2014
Rated 5 out of 5 by Works well for me! I'm tough to fit. I find that running shoes are often strangely contoured inside so that they apply pressure to the bottoms of my feet at various spots. These shoes don't. The interior cushioning is fairly firm, but comfortable. The boost material works as a good shock absorber as well. I've had success with some of the low profile running shoes in the past, but I have no regrets switching to these. Though not heavy, they feel like a sturdier and more solid shoe than some of the low profiles. BTW, I tried the Energy Boost and loved them, except they were too narrow (even in a larger size.) My only complaint at this point with the Glide 6 is that the toe box is a little wide. February 8, 2014
Rated 5 out of 5 by Great running shoes I finally decided to get new running shoes as my Asics were getting on in the years. After reading a few reviews from running magazines I decided to pull the trigger on these babies. Fit is true to size, my Asics were 10.5 so I ordered the same size in these and they fit great. Very bouncy and soft feel that, while not feeling the most stable, still feel supportive and responsive. Coupled with a good pair of running socks these kept my feet feeling very dry and cool. They feel very secure and snug around the center and back of my feet and leave a good amount of space for the toes to splay out. March 6, 2014
Rated 5 out of 5 by Upgrade from the original boost shoes These shoes are not just an upgrade to the original shoes. They offer a new level of comfort, stability, and support. The supernova series is, and has always been Adidas' best running series. These shoes, however are a little more built than the original boost's. So if you prefer lighter, and/or have narrow feet. I suggest you go with the original boost. Moreover it's a very nice addition to the supernova line. January 27, 2014
Rated 5 out of 5 by I LOVE/HATE THIS SHOE I really like the ride this shoe gives. I have the original energy boost shoe as well. But, this shoe is more stable when I go off hard surface onto dirt or gravel roads and trails. That said, a little heads up. I normally wear a size 10 running shoe. I ordered the energy boost in size 10. It was too small. I had to size up to a 10 1/2. After a chat with Adidas web people about sizing the Glide 6, I ordered a size 10. Guess what, too big. I returned for a size 9 1/2 and they fit perfectly. I went to a local running store and tried on the Energy Boost 2 and a size 10 fits fine. Adidas widened the toe box in the 2.0. Why do I hate the Glide 6? Because it has now made all the other shoes in my personal shoe inventory obsolete!! The Glide 6 is the one I want to reach for every time I go for a run!! Looks like I am going to be donating some other brands to charity!! March 6, 2014
Rated 5 out of 5 by Solid Shoe I have been running in Supernova Glides since 2006. I was excited to try out the new Glide 6 and see what the improvements feel like. I currently alternate between running in them and my Glide 4s. The 6's are the most comfortable running shoe I have ever owned. They are not demonstrably better than my 4s (which were the previous best shoe), but certainly a step above. I just ran 10 miles in my new shoes yesterday and had no discomfort at all. They fit the same as my 4s. It's a solid shoe and I look forward to logging many miles in them. May 20, 2014
