Rated 5 out of 5 by Perfect Casual Runner Shoes I love this shoes. I have the original springblades (infrared) and just last week bought the springblade razors. Honestly, there is not much of a difference other than the upper mesh. - This shoes are good for short distance run (I would say no more than 7 miles per session). They are really comfortable despite the "weird" look and I personally use for the gym or a quick run around the track. I get compliments everywhere I go. It is insane, so get use to that. Overall: this shoes are amazing, reason why I got 2 pair and so did my gf. PS: I pre-ordered them online and got them 4 days after it was release. REALLY upset that issue, I would assume they would prioritize the people that pay in advance, but seems it doesnt work that way February 4, 2014
Rated 5 out of 5 by Springblade Heaven I purchased the Springblade Razor Shoes several weeks ago online from Adidas. Prior to several snowstorms in Virginia, I managed to get out and run in these unique running shoes a few times. At age 48, I noticed that jarring that usually creeps up my legs from my traditional running shoes, is gone. It's as if I have shocks on my feet and the vibrations dissipate quickly. It isn't a bouncy run and the shoe may help you "spring" forward a bit, but it's not a noticeable thing. For us older folks, we need something that doesn't jar our joints and this is the running shoe that serves the purpose. March 6, 2014
Rated 5 out of 5 by Springblade shoes are amazing!! After my back surgery I had to give up running - due to the jarring involved when hitting the hard ground! Now I can RUN with NO pain, because with Springblade there is NO jarring!! They also are very comfortable AND give you a little boost "springing your foot off the ground"!! I love Springblade!! I tell all my friends and even strangers at the Gym - and I plan on buying a second pair!! January 31, 2014
Rated 5 out of 5 by Best purchase ever Great quality shoe, very durable, comfortable and stylish... February 13, 2014
Rated 2 out of 5 by Nice cushion I'm a heavy runner, 225 lbs, and tried this shoe because it looked like it would absorb a lot of shock. It did such. I initially really liked the soft feel. It doesn't "propel you forward" like the claim. It absorbs more energy and probably makes for a slower run, but I thought it would be a great shoe for training, just not so much for a race. The upper is what didn't work for me . It was too narrow in the arch and caused me to cramp. I also got a hot spot on my pinky toe in very short order. Also, the tongue dug into the front of my ankle. The collar around the ankle was flimsy and spread for each step, letting my heel wander around. I'm really disappointed. I wish for the sole's sake that the upper was better, because my joints would really benefit from this type of shock absorption. April 9, 2014
Rated 4 out of 5 by Great Running Shoe, Not Strng Tho Hey All, this shoe is great for runners but it does have a weightlimit. if you are obese or overweight in anyway, this blades will break. just forewarning. January 12, 2014
Rated 4 out of 5 by Very Happy with my decision to purchase I chose the Razor over the original Springblade for two reasons: 1) color choice (LOVED the red with black) and 2) the "mesh" look of the material (although it is still a polymer material, it looks like it is a mesh cloth...very nice.) I have fairly narrow and flat feet so, typically, Adidas shoes allow room for me to add my own external arch supports (as they typically lack a significant built in support). In the case of the Razor, they too lack built in support but there is not an abundance of room to add my own without it affecting the fit. What I am saying is, the shoes seem to fit more like I was expecting and look "sleeker" (like in the picture) without the added supports. But since I need the additional support, they make the shoe appear a bit wider across the laces. This isn't a HUGE issue, just noticeable (at least to me). Nevertheless, the shoes are very comfortable and work well for running. They also have a sturdy enough outer sole (hard plastic) to work well when riding a bike for long periods of time (1.5 to 2 hours), taking a while before my toes start loosing feeling (fairly typical when pedaling for long periods). The only discomfort I have felt to speak of, is the tongue, which is very thin. I like a snug fit. But because of the thin tongue, I have to tie the shoes more loosely than I like so that the laces do not cut into the vein across the top of my foot (which can become painful after a period of time. Overall though, I would recommend the purchase and would purchase again myself. They certainly are a conversation starter. February 7, 2014
Rated 1 out of 5 by Disappointed One of the rubber at the bottom came of the 1st week of use. March 2, 2014
Rated 4 out of 5 by Just got these in the mail a few days ago and I love them already. The shoe does take a bit to get used if you've never tried them on before. I did not try them on before I bought them figuring that they were similar to the old bounce shoes which I loved. I ordered a size 10 which is my normal shoe size and they do seem to run a tad big but I would rather have that extra space in the toe vs. not having it. The only thing that I have an issue with so far is the tongue being to big. I always wear no shoe socks with my shoes and the tongue on these particular shoes are taller than my socks so they rub on my skin. The problem can easily be solved by getting taller socks but I would rather have a smaller tongue. Overall I am happy with the shoe, they are very comfortable and my feet don't hurt even after standing on them for 10 hours a day. March 13, 2014
Rated 2 out of 5 by Good Shoes w/Quality Issue I would have given these shoes five stars except that the stitch work at the stress point where the tongue is connected to the shoe sock is excessive. This excessive stitching, combined with a tongue that is too thin, caused the stress points to dig into the top of my feet with both shoes. I ended up eliminating the stitching by cutting all of it out. I have read another review that had same complaint. For the cost of these shoes they should not have this problem. Otherwise they perform well as advertised. March 13, 2014

Rated 5 out of 5 by My Blades I have owned these shoes for about a month. What I have found is a very good fit, durability is outstanding, and alot of people ask questions about them when you wear them. I did find that these shoes require a break in period. The more you wear them the better the blades on the bottom "break in". They were not nearly as comfortable when I first put them on as they are now, so be prepared for a short break in period, but once you log some mileage they are FANTASTIC!!!!!! April 10, 2014
Rated 4 out of 5 by Blade Runner Like the classic movie, these shoes are ahead of their time. The spring affect can be felt from the first moment you put them on. The design of the shoes assist you in running on the balls of your feet, with added bonus of working out your calves. They look great and feel good. I believe with continued efforts and development, these Spring blade Razors could be the next wave in running. March 7, 2014
Rated 4 out of 5 by Wonderful quality The quality is indisputable, great quality and comfort material. I would really like adidas helps me up with this shoes because is very tight on the sides. Always used Adidas number 8.5. This time SpringBlade bought the site and found it very tight in the width. Can you help me? I'm able to use only without insole. I am currently in Brazil, bought it in Orlando - USA. March 14, 2014
Rated 5 out of 5 by Best Looking Running Shoes. Adidas hit the ball out of the park with the Springblade Razor. The style is very futuristic, gets lots of compliments from bystanders. The shoes gives you that felling of "The Future Is Now" Performed a few sprints, can't tell if it gave me an extra boost but they felt very comfortable. March 17, 2014
Rated 5 out of 5 by Amazing Product This shoe is an amazing product and I only have on thing against it, they are way to big. I ordered a size 9 which is my regular shoe size, and it was way to big. Currently I am wearing a size 8 springblade and it is still a little too big for my liking. February 24, 2014
