Received my Gore Jacket yesterday in mail and the title of jacket is perhaps a bit misleading using the word Gore. I wanted jacket that was primarily waterproof to prevent water from wetting my layering while I run in harsh weather. Yes, I should of read the write-up more carefully. This jacket primarily keeps wind out and is ONLY water resistant meaning you will get wet as the jacket sheds the beginning rain or snow storms but water will filter through on longer runs. I ordered a medium jacket and sleeves are a few inches long on 5'8"-150 lb runner but other than that seems to be OK. While running many nights in the dark I would like to see more reflective tape on front and back of jacket not just sleeve. Many manufacturers of night running gear skimp on the importance of reflective tape on running gear especially with more drivers using smart phones now. Will write another followup once I run in rain and snow this week.

I found that this jacket is somewhat a slim fit and if you are a runner or have a slim build, it is a perfect fit. It just doesn't have a lot of excess bulk. It is really well-made, too.
I will probably wear it as a runner's "dress" jacket because our temps don't get cold enough for this....it would need to be in the below-20 range for this to be comfortable running.

I love Adidas clothes! Great fit and flawless performance! But this Super Nova Gore Wind Jacket is my favorite! I wore it to hit golf balls on the driving range. 40 degrees F and the wind was gusting 10-25 MPH. It is a great outer layer to keep the wind off of me and even though its not made specifically for golf, I was completely unrestricted. And it looks GREAT!

THIS JACKET IS A MUST IF YOU WANT TO RUN DURING THE WINTER IN COLD, WINDY CONDITIONS. KEEPS THE WIND OUT AND IF LAYERED PROPERLY YOU'LL NEVER BE COLD. I'VE USED IT IN TEMPERATURES IN THE LOW TWENTIES WITH WIND GUSTS UP TO 28 MPH AND WAS VERY COMFORTABLE.
