Rated 4 out of 5 by Boston 2013 Jacket It is a nice jacket overall. I purchased the large size, most clothing in this size fits me well and leaves ample room. This jakcet however is really tight in the underars area. I am a bit concerned as to my ability to run comfortably in this garment. I have been walking around in the jacket but I am a tad afraid to raise my arms due to the tight fit. I kind of like it, but I think that I may have to return it for the larger size. I should have waited until I got to the expo so that I could have tried the jacket on before purchasing it. January 5, 2013

Rated 5 out of 5 by Happy I bought it! I'm running my first Boston Marathon and I had to have the jacket. The quality seems very good, but I have not run in it yet. As to fit, there are a couple issues. I am 5'11", 160 pounds with wide shoulders and I tried on medium, large, and XL jackets in a store and I settled on the large. As other people have said, the arms are too short for the body sizes. I wish I had the XL arms on the L jacket. How people over 6'1 fit into the L doesn't make sense to me. If the arms were 1" longer I would be psyched because I hope to hold onto this jacket for a long time. It also seems to be a pretty warm jacket because of the mesh lining. I thought it would be like a windbreaker but it's definitely a step up - more like the "Boathouse" jacket lining if you're familiar with those. (But much less dorky, I think.) Overall this is a great buy! I hope adidas made plenty because with the original BAA colors I think these things will go quickly. March 25, 2013
Rated 5 out of 5 by the only keepsake you'll need especially given the events of this year, having this jacket, which i'd always coveted, was essential. they ran out of the medium at the expo, so there were folks allowing us to place our orders online. i placed the order on sunday and received the jacket on tuesday, the day after the marathon, which struck me as pretty impressive. it fits well--the large would have certainly been too big for my 5'9" 145 frame. i'm glad to have the jacket, both because of and in spite of the horror of this year's race. for those of us who ran and finished, it will always be important. Very nice quality and perfect for cool weather conditions. If you are thinking of wearing it in sub zero temps. think again, as you will need some long johns on under it. January 12, 2013

This year's jacket is nice -- it has the BAA logo embroidered on the back and is great quality overall. I'm 5'10" and ~155, and a medium fit me perfectly. April 7, 2013

Rated 3 out of 5 by Its okay Worth having as a souvenir I guess but the build quality doesn't seem that great and the fit is a little odd in the arms. (I got the small per another reviewer who stated a similar build, 5'8") Its a perfect fit until you raise your arms up too high with elbows bent then it rides up so the arms seem a touch short. Basically it would be a fine jacket to wear around but maybe not great for the arm movement of running, which is a bit ironic :) February 14, 2013

Rated 5 out of 5 by Nice to have the traditional Boston colors back I love this jacket. This seems to be the same design used in the 2011 and 2012 jackets and very similar to the 2010 jacket, the only annual change being the colors of the panels. The construction and materials used are very good. The sleeve cuff's are longer over the back of the hand and shorter over the palm, a nice touch. I did like the Velcro cuffs of the 2009 jacket too. The collar has a fleece-like material along the neck. This jacket is both a great keepsake as well as a good technical jacket for cooler days with wind or light rain. The medium fits my 5'7", 150 pound frame quite well. If you are running Boston only once, you really need this jacket it is a great conversation starter. Or if you are like me, this is my 19th Boston in a row, this one of the nicer jackets for my collection. March 30, 2013
Rated 5 out of 5 by Makes a Statement It was a bit of a logistics exercise getting this shipped to the UK via a friend in Utah (thanks Sam) but it was worth it. They're a rare animal on this side of the pond. I was 'over the moon' to get into the Boston Marathon - a dream of a lifetime - and the quality of this jacket helps me make that statement. Great colours, great design, great quality. I'm 6'1"/180lbs and I chose size L - and crossed my fingers as I'm often XL - and it fits great. It's a real head-turner. February 12, 2013
Rated 5 out of 5 by Excellent! Maybe I'm just excited because I get to run the Boston Marathon this year, but I love this jacket. Its very high quality and the embroidery is great. I was unsure of what size to order. I am 5'10" and 155 lbs. I wanted something fairly fitting but long enough in the sleeves for my long arms. I got the medium. It fits great unless I reach with my arms. Otherwise, fine. The large would have worked too if I cared more about the "reach". Can't wait to wear this in Boston! March 6, 2013

Rated 5 out of 5 by Great Winter Jacket Im so excited to run Boston that i had to buy this jacket. I got it about a month ago and love it. The fit is perfect(size large 6'3 155). I've been braving some pretty brutal NJ winter days in this in nothing but a tech long or short sleeves underneath. If the weather was over 40 i could see getting warm quickly. Love the colors and the Boston insignia on the back. Keeping me motivated til 4/15! February 7, 2013
Rated 2 out of 5 Not the best I am 5'10", 160 lbs, 38" chest. Medium shirts and jackets have always fit me just fine, until now. The arms are just too short on this jacket. The cut of the jacket restricts arm movement. For example, when driving, there is pressure around the upper arm. The zipper is a little off too. It gets stuck at about 1/3 of the way up and I have to force it past the spot. March 21, 2013

The Jacket sizes are a little on the small size, wish I had bought the next size up when I ordered it on line. The jacket represents participation in the most famous marathon worldwide and it is easily identifiable within the running community. Quality and fit is excellent. February 4, 2013

It's too snug for me to wear out, much less train in. I bought a large this year, and it's PERFECT. Embroidery is a nice touch. March 13, 2013

Rated 5 out of 5 by extremely nice jacket I'm 6'1" 175 pounds and the large felt a bit tight so I ordered and XL whcih was then way too big especially in the mid section which I found interesting since us runners aren't big in that section.
