Rated 5 out of 5 by Great top for cold weather running! This is a great top for running in the cold weather, which most of us training for Boston are doing right now. It is much warmer than I expected it to be. As with most of Adidas products, the fit is big so I suggest sizing down. I typically wear a large and the medium is perfect. I'm honestly tired of hearing people complain about the colors this year, sure we all love the standard Boston Marathon colors (blue & yellow), but this is something different and unique. I personally really like the orange that they picked, I'll take this bright orange over the dark orange that they had a couple years back. I'm also biased because I'm usually running in low light conditions and this is great to be seen on the roads. Yes, there is a blue strip on the cuffs, but it goes with the shirt, and it's really not that bad. #Boston2014 December 10, 2013
Rated 1 out of 5 by Fast shipping, but product does not look the same First, let me say that the product looks GREAT online, and adidas.com was excellent when it came to shipping the product on time. But when it arrived, I realized that there were two issues, which made it less-than-great purchase: a. the orange looks more like a highlighter orange (resembling more of the women's version), and b. there is a blue lining along the cuffs (again, similar to the women's version), even though there is none in the online picture. I thought they had shipped me the women's version, but I checked -- it said men's, and the sizing was certainly for men. Be sure you're ok with a design which looks more like the women's version if you do decide to order this! December 3, 2013
Rated 5 out of 5 by Nice Shirt This is a very warm shirt and I like the color a lot. I'm a fan of orange, so this was perfect for me. I have not run in the shirt yet, but wearing it around the house and office it is very warm. Much warmer than other shirts that are a lot thicker. It does not match the picture exactly, but it was closer than some of the reviews have stated. There is blue at the edge of the cuffs. The color might not match the picture perfectly, but it is NOT the 'washed out' color of the women's shirt. If anything the real color is a tad more electric than the picture of the men's shirt. Rated 1 out of 5 by nope Big and loyal fan of adidas but sorry guys you fell short on this. Qualified for Boston so was excited when the gear was released. Silly me, should have read the other reviews first. NOT the item in the picture. More of a highlighter color and the Boston and brand logos are not in blue, more blending in to the awful shirt color. Shame the blue long sleeve has that awful stripy pattern on it. Whomp whomp whomp for the first time since I've been buying. January 7, 2014
Rated 4 out of 5 by You won't be missed or cold. The zest color with the blue tealish trim looks good. It's my first running top with the holes for the thumbs. That is a nice feature but it does make it a bit long in the sleeve when you aren't running. It's almost like a fleece. A very lightweight fleece. It's warm but breathable. It looks best when zipped all the way up. Both Boston logo and Adidas logo look good and are pretty small. The inside is almost a waffle like fleece pattern. Different than anything I have. A lot of people at my work asked if I was going hunting. It certainly does stand out. I will be rocking it at Boston so it meets my criteria of official gear. I would recommend this instead of the jacket. Much more affordable and you will use it on your runs. March 31, 2014
Rated 2 out of 5 by Returning I have the fleece top for several previous years - I assumed this was the same product as they look the same in the image. Maybe my mistake - it's not. It's thinner cheaper material than that. I had a white t-shirt with a logo on underneath, and that showed through very easily. Maybe they'll come out with a fleece top too - but this one isn't it... The colour itself I like. Just wish the top itself was better. I'm going to wait to the expo and see what they have there. January 14, 2014
Rated 5 out of 5 by Something different and useful Similar to many of us that have run Boston previously, I have more than my share of yellow and blue long-sleeve shirts. The color may not be to everyone's preference, but personally I like it. It is identical to Tennessee Volunteer orange. Very well-made, relatively warm and the fabric has a textured, waffle-like feel to it. Great as either a stand-alone or layering piece. December 13, 2013
Rated 4 out of 5 by Love the material This is a nice shirt. I love the material and texture. I'm not a big fan of the jacket, but I really like the shirt. For some reason, it seems less bright than the jacket, maybe because it isn't shiny like the jacket and has some light patterns in the shirt. I love the weight. I have a lot of lighter weight long sleeves, but this is a little heavier. I am guessing it will be quite cozy in the cold weather and am looking forward to trying it out! January 2, 2014
Rated 5 out of 5 by Dark? Cold? You'll be warm and more visible in the this shirt. This is a great top for those cold early morning or late evening runs. I found it wicks very efficiently and will be a favorite in these conditions. February 8, 2014
Rated 4 out of 5 by Eye catching running top Bright orange ensures you will be seen--this color shouts at you. Quality seems fine, some may not prefer such a loud statement, others will see it as a great piece of safety gear. December 30, 2013
