Rated 5 out of 5 by The best lightweight trainer on the market today I work at a running shoe store, and have experience with a wide variety of brands. Comparing the adizero Boston 3 against similar shoes like the Nike Zoom Elite, the Saucony Kinvara, the Brooks Pure Flow, the adizero Boston 3 is better all around. Cushioning feels relatively firm, but in a lightweight trainer, that is what you want. Running fast in these shoes is easy and feels effortless. At the same time, there is just enough cushioning in these shoes for lighter, more efficient runners to use as a full time daily training shoe. I personally love alternating it with the Supernova Glide as I like to have a bit more cushioning for my daily runs. January 31, 2013
Rated 5 out of 5 by Great running shoe I run 25-35 miles per week and I have own many different brands of tennis shoes(less Adidas),so I wanted to give it a try to the new adiZero Boston 3 Shoes they seemed comfortable, light weight, and right for my foot. I'm a neutral runner, The fist time I try this shoes I could not resist to go out and run.. one of the best running shoes I have ever bought now I'm trying for my very fist marathon "Chicago 2012" and Im hoping to get the best out of this shoes by then. Ps. my first race with this shoes was a half marathon this last May-6-12 and my time was 10mins lower then last year!!! so i had to like my new adiZero Boston 3 Shoes May 13, 2012
Rated 5 out of 5 by Record Breaking Shoes These shoes are very light, durable, and will not let you down. I needed shoes for track and it was between these and the f50 running shoes. They are made for running on asphalt and running on the track was very similar. With every step, it feels like you are being propelled forward (even when walking). I ran the 800, mile, and 2 mile in these and I set records in each of those with the Boston 3 shoes. I have also used them in general training. They have great traction, due to the fact that they have Continental Tire Rubber on the bottom of them. I've stuck with adidas for most athletic stuff, and I have not one time, been disappointed. Rated 5 out of 5 by I didn't know shoes could be this good It's somewhat amazing I ever spent this much money on a pair of shoes...I tend to be a bit on the thrifty side, but at 54 years old I need all the help I can get to stay competitive. I wish I had bought these years ago. The little aches and pains I get from my running disappeared in less than two weeks. I was afraid that a lightweight shoe might not cushion well enough, but just the opposite is true. Best running shoe I have ever worn! As light as they are, I believe I will be setting some new PR's. Rated 5 out of 5 by Great shoe good style The shoes seam to be a great improvement from the boston 2. They have the same great comfort with added grip for better traction that helps alot in the winter when roads are covered in ice and snow. The colors are brighter then depicted online really stands out and people will notice them. have gotten alot of compliments. An overall good shoe for anybody who is going to wear them often. Rated 5 out of 5 by Boston makes you feel like a Olimpian These shoes are seriously cool, and they mean the business! I am a pronator (medium) but decided to get some light weight runners to race in. My choice was the Boston 3's and I have never looked back. These shoes are light, breathable, enduring, comfortable, responsive and did I mention light?!! The transition from my stability trainers (Sequence5) to this neutral light weights are easy and I haven't even felt pain in my joints. In rain they are masterful as the water just flow in and out and in the heat it is like running with fans on your feet. My opinion... The best shoe out there, by far! (and they look awesome) March 4, 2013
Rated 5 out of 5 by Continued refinement The Boston 3 continues the progression of refinement to the adiZero Boston model. The 3 seems more like the special Ekiden model from last year, with a changed outsole. A solid shoe for those 2-mile repeats getting ready for Marathon Monday. March 13, 2012
Rated 5 out of 5 by Boston Shoe Review I have purchased many shoes in my running past and the fastest shoe for running marathons has proven to be the Adizero Boston 3. I ran a hilly course in Ogden, Utah and almost broke 3 hours. I qualified for Boston with over 12 minutes better than the improved 2013 qualifying times. I plan on getting the green ones this time and also plan to break the 3 hour time in the Boston Marathon 2013. I do switch shoes for longer slower training runs that have more cushion to ensure I don't beat my body up too much. December 30, 2012
Rated 5 out of 5 by These Shoes Need To Come With a Brake With a month and a half to go before my next marathon and with the soles of my current trainers almost completely worn down, I decided it was time for new shoes. With the goal of qualifying for Boston, I figured that buying these shoes would give me the inspiration needed to train hard and run fast. As soon as they arrived in the mail it was love at first sight. The pictures on the website do not do them justice and do not truly reflect their beauty. After I tried them on and set off on my first run in them, I was very excited to discover that these shoes have a lot more going for them than just their looks. The Boston 3s fit my feet perfectly and provide just the right amount of supported I need and no more. They are so light and low to the ground that they feel like a natural part of your body and you are quick to forget that you are even wearing them. On my first long run in the shoes I had to make a conscious effort to slow myself down, as they propelled me to go faster and faster. Even after 19 miles my feet felt comfortable in the shoes. I spent two weeks trying to find these shoes in local stores. After my efforts proved futile, I resorted to buying them online at shopadidas.com and I can honestly say that it was well worth the wait. I don't see myself in running in any other shoe any time soon. February 19, 2012
Rated 5 out of 5 by excellent runners AND trainers Boston 3 is my 1st experience with Adidas, and i am quite impressed. Running is my warm-up and high-intensity exercise. I wear Boston 3 for both my runs and resistance training. And the Boston 3 performs incredibly balanced between the two exercises. On the performance side, Boston 3 are very light and even with less structured cushioning they provide very stable support and allows me to run at higher speed comfortably. I was initially unsure with the styling, however they actually look great on too. April 16, 2012

Rated 5 out of 5 by Best shoes yet I'm a highschool student running a great deal every week. I have been wearing the adizero Boston for about a year. This version and last years model. They are amazing. They are light enough that I can go as fast as I want to even using them for speed workouts. They are also thick enough to have ample support and protection of the heal making them very comfortable. July 19, 2012
Rated 5 out of 5 by The Performance Trainer I've been looking for I went into my local running store looking for a shoe that had enough support and guidance for my long runs/everyday miles, but was nimble enough to do speed work on the track... The Boston 3 has been perfect. I just ordered my second pair after logging almost 500 miles on the first pair (yes, going past 400 miles on a pair of shoes is considered risky, but I swear there is still life left in them). I have relatively narrow feet, so the toe box being snug was welcomed, and the shoe wrapped my foot nicely. I'm a light-weight (5'11", 135 lbs), relatively efficient runner (avg. pace 6:30min/mile) with an average weekly millage of 25-35 miles/week. Focus race distance is the Half-Marathon. February 18, 2013
Rated 5 out of 5 by Marathon tested, Marathon approved. I just ran my first 26.2 in these having switched from the Supernova Glide 3 (with over 500 miles on them). My first impression (during a test run in the store parking lot) was "Wow, these are super responsive". The toe box is narrower compared to the Glide but the fit is spot on. I didn't get any blisters during the marathon wearing regular Adidas training socks. Put maybe 20 miles on them pre-race. Ride is definitely firmer than the Glide but the shoe feels much lighter. Bottom line: I need to shave off 20 minutes to BQ, but these shoes will definitely help me get there. November 27, 2012
Rated 5 out of 5 by Great all around shoe! I primarily run on technical Colorado singletrack and usually wear the Adidas Adios but preparing for a long distance ultra I needed slightly more cushion....ala.. The Adidas Boston 3! This shoe is incredible in two places in particular, one the agility of a lightweight, low profile feel. Secondly is the Continental sole. It grips everything wet or dry. I have worn every brand of shoe out there over many distances and I have to say, I have never been immediately impressed by this shoe. By the way, it does great on the road too! Do buy a size up. All Adidas seem to run small. May 14, 2013
Rated 5 out of 5 by Light and fast I could tell when I tried them on at the running store. It was almost like having nothing on my feet. A minimalist shoe was too little on the cushioning but I didn't want a shoe what had so much cushion it was heavy. These were light and felt great. I run 6 days a week about 40 miles a week. I am buying another pair to have as a back up for when I wear these out. These are my first Adidas shoes too. Won't be my last. June 6, 2012
Rated 5 out of 5 by THE running shoe I am an avid runner and have been for many years, and never have I ever had a better shoe. Extremely light weight yet still very supportive. I have shin problems and have always stuck with shoes like the supernova collections for the support. Every light weight shoe I have tried caused more shin problems after just a weeks use. How ever, I have had these for a month and still no problems. If you love to run and wish to not sacrifice speed for comfort, then you need these. January 4, 2013
Rated 5 out of 5 by aaaaaamazing yes, comfy incredible, lightweight. Even my wife who claimed Adidas couldn't make decent runners, tried them on and went WOW. That says it all to me! April 16, 2012
Rated 5 out of 5 best show Bought these after researching for weeks. I'm typically a 5-10 mile runner every other day, and I'll run my first marathon in October of this year. You put these on and you cant help but start running. In the first 2 weeks, I ran about 40 miles easily with these shoes. My feet adjusted fairly fast and it has just the right amount of cushion for long distance... yet, they are still super light. Love these shoes. January 12, 2013
Rated 5 out of 5 by Just got these shoes I will respond in a week, but first impression from tired legs because I just ran with my old shoes, really good support, good rebound on reach stride, the neon color I got orange, my dad not to shabby about it but you know. October 17, 2012
Rated 1 out of 5 by These are loafers! Straight out of the box I could tell these were the worst designed shoes adidas has ever made. The reason they show the side and bottom view is to mask the top and front in particular. They come to a point, which is fine, if you're a one-toed alien. One week in these would rip the seam or tear your foot up. I can imagine walking in these, much less running. The design was cheap. The laces were thin. The reflective strip makes it look like robot shoes. I sent them back. February 20, 2013

Rated 5 out of 5 by Adizero Boston 3 shoes Great shoes for my training runs. November 26, 2012
Rated 5 out of 5 Great overall running shoe! I owned several pairs of running shoes of various brands (Zoot, K Swiss, Brooks Pure Flow, Mizuno) and after running in all of them, I still find Adidas shoes best in terms of fitting and overall performance and cushioning. The Boston 3 just tops it up well with my Mana 6. For better fit, I just bought a US size 9.5 after trying out the usual size 9.0 which I wear for other brands. But this is a none-issue once you get the right size fit. Simply love them! April 27, 2013
Rated 3 out of 5 by Depends... If you're coming off an injury, do not get them. they will not fix an injury due to little support. They make you run very fast, in fact its hard to run slow in them. they keep my foot perfectly pronated though. June 12, 2012
Rated 5 out of 5 by boston 3 this shoe looks like a big winner for fit and comfort January 6, 2012
Rated 5 out of 5 by Great shoes. These shoes fit like a glove, which worried me at first, since I was used to heavier wedge shaped boats that I thought were necessary for all my long runs. I have had no problems with pain or blisters in these shoes running 8+ miles every day. I'm on my third pair, and I get about 450 miles on them before the heels wear out. They are comfortable, light, fast and lively. January 28, 2013
Rated 5 out of 5 by Boston 3 - great shoe Im 6'2'', 170, standard foot width, mid to front foot striker. Run 30 - 40 miles a week--incl ~15 - 20 on weekend. I typically run in minimalist shoes (liked the Adios a lot). Wanted slightly more shoe without sacrificing weight/flexibility as i ramped up road miles. I think the Boston 3's are just great: super light, flexible but with just a bit more sole. April 25, 2013
Rated 5 out of 5 by Top Shoe once you get used to the colour, it is a very bright shoe, you will appreciate the shoe, it is light, comfortable and reasonably hard wearing, you can wear it every day for training and still feel on race day you have a shoe in which to set a PR, try it and you won't be disappointed especially if you are on the light side weight wise January 24, 2013
Rated 5 out of 5 by Absolutely love this shoe. Very comfortable and light weight. First time running in them today in a race and set myself a new pr. Definitely be sticking with Adidas and all their products. August 25, 2012

Rated 3 out of 5 by Too small They did not have any more 13s so I tried a 12.5. It was too tight. I liked the shoe, just uncomfortable. May 16, 2013
Rated 4 out of 5 by Really nice ride This shoe is comfortable, good training weight for a track runner (light but not too light) performs well as a track miler, nice firm ride for forefoot strike on the track, nice cushioned stable ride for heel strike at long distances on the road. Fits very well, a fast shoe, love it. May 13, 2013
Rated 4 out of 5 by a pair of fast running shoes con: shoe lace too short; I bought a green pair instead of the white and yellow one here and the color turns out to be too sharp, not as good as in the photo I saw on the web. pro: breathable, really light, good support of foot, the curvature of the bottom makes you run fast. I like it April 3, 2013
Rated 5 out of 5 by Best Running Shoe Ever I've had plenty of other running shoes in the past and I got these when I had shin splints because my other shoes were wearing out. I haven't had pain since I've started wearing these. They offer great support and comfort while still looking great! Buy it April 16, 2013
Rated 4 out of 5 by Very good purchase I like to exercise to maintain my health. Run about 5 times a week, every once in a while like to participate in runs. Last Sunday tried the shoes in a race and they felt very good, light and comfortable. Todd shoes overall March 27, 2013
Rated 5 out of 5 by Great Training Shoe I bought this shoe to use for my faster, shorter training runs (3-4 miles). Although the Supernova will remain my main long distance shoe, the Boston 3 is a great alternate shoe. February 18, 2013
Rated 5 out of 5 by Amazing Shoes Really light, extremely comfortable, do not get blisters while breaking them in. Unbelievable differeance in the weight of this shoe compared to that of a normal running shoe. April 22, 2013
Rated 5 out of 5 by super light, very stable. perfect for distance training. wish i would have bought these earlier February 18, 2013
