Rated 2 out of 5 by Oversized I currently have size 10.5 Adidas that fit great. I ordered the Terrex in a size 10.5 and they're way too big. I returned them for a 10 and they're still too big. It costs $16 to mail back each time. Really disappointed in the inconvenience. January 26, 2013
Rated 5 out of 5 by One of the Best I ordered this shoe together with Terrex R shoes. I was very impressed that this shoe is of the same high quality as the Terrex R design. Although the Terrex R design is low-to-the-groung, the Terrex Fast X shoe is tougher in construction. This pair might appear bigger but they fitted me very well. I needed a tough pair of adidas shoe that can supplement the adidas Terrex R shoe. This Terrex Fast design looks, feels confortable and tough. I am very impressed with the quality. It is still early for me to find dislikes for this shoe. Although the shoe might be slightly wide, I think this makes it even more confortable especially if you intend to use it often outdoors. But if you are looking for a confortable, tough, constructed to last and well designed shoe then the Terrex R shoe will not disappoint. February 14, 2013

But I took a chance, and surprisingly was not disappointed. The shoes look great and feel great. They feel durable, and they're light and comfortable. Definitely one of the best pair of shoes I've purchased. And the price is just right too. The only minor thing is, it's a half size too big. But overall, I give it a 5-star rating. January 8, 2013
Rated 4 out of 5 by Very comfortable I am on my feet daily for 8 hours plus daily walking up and down stairs and constantly on the go ( city life) . After wearing these shoes for a week straight so far my feet feel great!!!! They run about a half size larger than what I normally wear though and I still had a little extra room but it was ok though . I didn't mind the extra toe room. Thinking of ordering a another pair because I like them that much. March 1, 2013
Rated 5 out of 5 by Best pair of shoes - period! A great pair of shoes. Snug fit, super arch support, sticky traction and athletic looks for a hiking shoe. I own two other hiking shoes from two other name brands and they DO NOT come close the the way these shoes look and feel. Had I known about the Gor-Tex version I would have bought them! Super happy with my pruchase having never seen them nor fit them in a store. Great work Adidas! February 6, 2013
Rated 4 out of 5 by Comfortable. Unusual lacing structure. Thinking outside the shoe box, they made a lacing system that's unusual at best. But, I just don't tie them. I just pull it tight and it seems to hold. The shoes are cool and light. They were on sale because of the crazy lace situation. I'm sure. May 17, 2013

Rated 5 out of 5 by At last! Have been waiting for this shoe for years. I live in Maryland and in the past I enjoyed running the billy goat trail along the Potomac river I n great falls park. The trail is essentially mother nature's obstacle course: three miles of roots, ledges, boulders, scrambling, stream crossings, sandy beaches, logs and even a forty foot cliff face! So much fun! However as I entered my forties the trail began to take its toll on my body. Trail runners could not provide the level of rigidity, support and ruggedness I needed and light hikers were too clumsy and bulky...so I stopped running the "goat" for the last 5 years. Recently an old friend asked me to join him on a goat run and of course I said no...but it got me jonesing for it again. So I started researching shoes to see if there was something out there new that would get me back running the goat. All roads lead to the terrex fast x low. This shoe truly does bridge the gap between trail runner and hiker. Just stiff enough to handle rocks and extreme trail conditions, with great cushioning...and incredibly light for its level of protection. I am so happy I found this shoe! January 13, 2013
