Rated 2 out of 5 by Better Laces or Make them Replaceable Laces aren't durable. They broke within a year of casual use. I have 3 pairs of various adidas shoes: Adizero, hydroterra, and the Gore Tex trail running shoe. I also have 1 Montrail trail shoes and 1 Montrail hiking boots and Teva hiking shoes. I rotate my shoes so there isn't massive wear and tear. Plus I understand it's better for the feet? What bothers me most is that there's no way to replace these laces. So I say either make more durable laces or make them replaceable then we're talking a 5 star review. These are very comfortable shoes. December 17, 2013
Rated 3 out of 5 by Hydroterra shandals could be great Enjoy the shoes but could be better if more attention placed on the laces and the lace holders (which came close to breaking after 8 months wear. Had to do some stitching with red thread to re-inforce. Must admit red threads make the black shandals look great) No other shoe in market that i know similarly constructed. December 29, 2013
Rated 5 out of 5 by Excellent Shoe By far and above the most comfortable shoe I've ever owned in my 49 years! I bought my first pair while in Dubai last year (2012) and am absolutely in love with this touch of heaven that surrounds my feet every day. July 8, 2013
Rated 1 out of 5 by Poor laces on good shoe Laces are not durable. Wore out quickly. Can't be replace rendering shoe useless after a few times in the pool. Either upgrade the quality of the lace or make them replaceable. I consider the shoe lace issue a defect that should cause the shoe to be replaced. Do not buy this shoe! April 2, 2014
Rated 2 out of 5 by Great shoes - bad laces Excellent light sport shoe but disastrous bad quality shoe laces. Improve the laces for durability and you have a winner ! September 15, 2013
Rated 5 out of 5 by Great Shoes! Only one thing, the laces could've been stronger and more durable. October 25, 2013
