If you want a water shoe that seconds as the best summer shoe you've ever owned, this shoe is for you. If you want to wear socks, look for something else. Topsiders used to be pretty awesome until they messed with the sole and the rubber is now whacked. This shoe is functional. Knot the laces and you can just slip them on and go. If you're up for something a bit aggressive, tie 'em for a snug fit. They drain through holes in the bottom of the sole, so drainage is optimal. Traction is excellent.

These are extremely light weight. They look great and are fairly comfortable. I did not purchase them for sailing. The soles are perforated, watch out for puddles or your socks will get wet. I wanted something unique. These fit the bill.

They keep your feet fresh and cool. I won't wear them without socks though because they itch somewhat. They're not the most comfortable either.
