I used to save up all summer working a paper route for a pair of Superstars to wear in the new school year. Skip almost 40 years later and I've got easily 10 pairs in rotation(I have a lot more boxed up!). Adidas has perfected this shoe - back in the day the leather upper was matched to a more yellow rubber outsole but today it is a very crisp and clean bright white.
As for the shoe--it starts off comfortable and becomes more so over time. It is a very durable shoe and can put up with a lot of harsh wear. I tend to rotate my shoes daily as to keep the interior in top shape. I buy when I see an original or interesting strip color as these rarely wear out. I can't recommend highly enough.

Over 10 years ago I bought the same sneakers, but I don't remember them being so uncomfortable. I have a size 11.5-12 EE foot. I'm also flatfooted so it's hard to find comfy sneakers. So since I had them before I figured I'd buy them again to go with my new adidas hoody. I tried everything to make them work, but they are not made for people with sasquach feet. I don't recomend them if you have wide, flat feet. Otrherwise, They are a well built pair of sneakers. Also wanted to add that most adidas that I've tried on have the same issue with prominant arch support. Also they run small so if your normally a men's size 9, I would try a 10.

I have always loved the old-school Adidas shelltoes, known as Superstar. They got re-released (2.0), slightly different but equally as comfortable and rugged as I remember. The small differences are a different insole than I remember, slightly higher arch, but still comfy. I like the leather black with white stripes and the old ones had the stripes as the only thing white, but the 2.0's have a white upper heel. Not a biggie, but I likes it black with the Adidas logo in white. All in all, very pleased with my purchase, same price as anywhere and fast shipping made it good for me. I hate having to got to the malls and try to find the right shoes when I know the ones I want.

Ok, I LOVE these!! I'm a girl and I got these shoes just before starting highschool, which, was a decade (10 years!) ago and I still wear them nearly daily!!
They are a bit dirtier and the backs have wore out a bit, but, they still are in great shape and my go-to tennis shoe!!
I recently decided I needed to maybe look for a new pair and I was happy to see these are still being made. I haven't ordered yet, but hoping soon to get a new pair, just had to share my story with anyone who is thinking of these.
I will never in my life have a pair of shoes last as long as these one have, and, again, I'm still wearing them as daily shoes 10 years after purchase! Amazing!! :D
(And, I still remember the sales guys telling me, a girl about 13 or so that they were men's shoes and none would fit me, but, I insisted, I fell in love with the color/design, got a pair size 6 and it was a great fit!)

I have large feet and so typically find limited selection. I have found that Adidas shoes fit me well, their construction in the way they form their shoes fits my feet well. Also I've found that their size 15 fits me well, from one year to the next and one Adidas model to the next. So I trusted ordering on-line, and was not disappointed. The shoes fit well so I did not have to send them back, and this saved a trip to a retail outlet store. The shoes are attractive - I wear them to work. Very good on-line experience, good shoes. I'm don't have any shoe fetishes but i can assert these are by far some of the best pairs of shoes i have bought in a long time. they fit great once you break them in in about 2 days depends how much you walk but they are great shoes. i gave them a shine with some foam for car tires for the rubber tip, some leather cleaner for the leather parts of the shoes and put the laces in the washer machine for a shoe good as new. Great shoe in style and comfort

First off I'd like to say that the superstar 2.0s are definitely an awesome shoe so don't let my review sound negative to you, take it as just a helpful piece of information when buying your shoes.
I personally have a wider foot so the shoe fits alright but its tight in the front. Other then that I have no complaint's. I especially like the style and look of the Adidas. So my main recommendation is if you have wider feet go a size bigger. The reason i didn't send them back and get a new pair was because i felt like they fit the back of my foot good and didn't want to risk them being too big. Overall though I'd have to say they are some awesome shoes and would definitely recommend them to anyone, thank you Adidas!

I purchase a new pair of these shoes each and every spring. After wearing them rigorously over the course of the year, they develop a unique classy used look. They also start to get some pretty big holes after a year, but that is after EXTENSIVE use. I enjoy each journey with my pair of shoes. They show who I am and who I've been. While their physical parts may wear out, the spirit of these shoes will never die.

These shoes are very comfortable. I have a pair of the all black superstars that i wear for work and i love them so much i just had to have something with a little more color for everyday use. I got these in record time which was a happy surprise but i noticed that they were quite a bit smaller than my other pair though they were the 'same' size. The only difference between them was that my all blacks were made in Vietnam and my new pair were made in India. It's good that i have small feet and I like roomy shoes because they do fit quite well, it was just a little strange. Overall still very happy with my shoes and their quality.

Aight, real talk first time i've ever worn these shoes was when I was about 11 me and my brother were dirt poor and went looking through trash can after trash can in rich neighborhoods looking for clothes, food and what not. As some people say "another man trash is another man's treasure" and then I stumble across these pretty much new shoes, and I was like wow... blown away.. better than wearing 2 different worn out tennis shoes.

After years of buying these sneakers, I was very disappointed on my latest order. Both pairs of the Superstar were built very poorly. There was significant and unsightly gaps where the shell toe meets with the leather.
I brought these to my local Adidas store in order to exchange them and couldn't believe when all their Superstars had a similar or worse problem. I ended up just returning my order and getting a full refund.
Adidas, please fix the quality control on these and I will be more than happy to purchase them again.

Mine are black and size 8.5, which is about the length of 1.5 Arizona brand 'Mucho Mango' all-natural drink blend cans stacked on end. I know this because I have several cans sitting at my desk that I have not recycled yet. The shoes have laces that seem to be made out of some sort of cotton-like material. Maybe a polyester blend. The sole is rubber, or a synthetic substitute. They pretty much protect your feet from the elements, and look stylish while doing so. I would recommend these shoes to anyone looking to protect their feet while also looking stylish.

Been a big fan of Stan Smith originals for years, primarily for foot comfort since I suffer from a neurological disease. The Stan Smith line is the only Adidas product or any other manufacturer's product that would give me some degree of comfort. The line has been discontinued. As a result, purchased the Superstar 2.0, within 2 hours of wearing, the foot pain was unbearable. Imagine standing barefoot on a cactus. Obviously Adidas is not in the business of producing footwear for someone with my condition and I completely understand. Just hope for selfish reasons, Adidas re-launches the Stan Smith line.

I would recommend, these shoes for anyone who wants comfort; walking and fit. My son, has a big size shoe, of course his foot size, stopped growing when he turned 15; shoes were beginning to be hard to find, locally, but with his height 6'4'', shoes like Adidas Superstar 2.0 looks great on him..

I have a unique problem w/ my right foot. I have had surgery that pulls the toes up, called a bridle technique. Other shoes put pressure on the arch and cause the toes to spasm. The Superstar 2 has laces that reach from below the affected area to allow me to loosen them to give my foot room. The shoes have good supports and last. The hard cover on the toe is good; because, the right side of my body is partially paralyzed. That foot gets dragged into and over alot of things and doesn't get scuffed up so, the shoe stays looking good.

I can't offer enough high praise for the Adidas Superstar 2.0 Shoes. The look of the shoes is "Old School", iconic and will never go out of style. Adidas has a real winner with The Superstar 2.0. I own three pairs of the black shoes with the white stripes. One pair is for the gym; another for softball and a third for casual wear. I hope Adidas NEVER phases out or eliminates the Superstar 2.0 model from it's line of products. The shoe is outstanding. 5 stars times 500 for this shoe.

Very happy with my purchase. Having old shoes fall apart was the perfect reason to finally get some nice, classic Adidas. I use them for most of what I do: walking around, chillin', dancing, and just looking fly.
And the shipping is definitely a plus. When they say you'll get them in "x-y business days," they mean it. I actually got them much sooner than expected. And I'm keeping that box, by the way; not throwing it away!

I ordered the shoes online in a size 15 only because your outlet stores didn't have any to try on. I ordered them and got them 2 days later (thumbs up for fast shipping!!!). I tried them on and they were the tightest size 15 shoes I had ever worn. Even after loosening up the laces, they were still very tight and the bottom of the shoes were very narrow. I felt like I was balancing on staircase railing.
PLEASE stock more size 15 shoes in your stores. Having to order shoes online without having a pair to try on and then sending them back is INCREDIBLY frustrating!!!

When I initially bought these online, I thought I was gonna get a shoe that was like my old ones... This was not the case and after wearing them for one day I had to go buy another pair of shoes. I still havent worn them since.
The overall size is great, but the width of the shoe made my feet feel like they were in vices. I cant rate on the quality of the product since I have only worn them once, but I can say that they lasted one day without falling apart.

This is year three of these being the ONLY shoes my son will wear when playing basketball. He is completely convinced they help him to run faster and jump higher. While a little pricey, they do seem to outlast other brands we purchased before.

I have been wearing Superstars for over 10 years. It is absolutely my favorite shoe. I bought these in black to replace my old brown ones that finally bit the dust. They are so comfortable for work, and I am on my feet pretty much all day long. I will probably keep wearing these shoes until Adidas quits making them, which hopefully never happens. I would recommend them to someone else in a heart beat.

I purchase a pair of Superstars every time the seasons change. I have 6 different colorways of this sneaker, and I still can't think of anything more reassuring than throwing on a pair of Superstars with my favorite jeans and tee. I love walking around the city and seeing people of all ages rocking this shoe in so many different colors. I've seen it with so many outfits, and it always looks sharp! If you live in an area where snow falls frequently, make sure you keep your Superstars winterized!

I am disappointed with this purchase. To begin with these shoe runs small. I wear a size 12US in men and I have a slim, high arch feet. I would have to get them a half size bigger, (12.5 US). If you have a wide feet a full size bigger would be recommended, (13 US). This shoe is very uncomfortable to wear if you have a high arch feet due to the lack of arch support the shoes have. I guess the only good thing I can say about these shoe is that is stylish to wear.

I'm very happy with these. The material quality is good, the shell toe is nice, and the trefoils on the tongue and rear are hot. I'm big on trefoils. Color appropriate laces should be included also, so you can customize. Adidas includes them for some of the other shoes available here.

The shoes are not as awesome as the originals, but they are still pretty awesome. I miss the real leather ones. Once they are broken in they are pretty comfortable. these black with white stripes shell toes are my favorite out of all color variations. amazingly, they are comfortable shoes to be in and they look great on me. the last pair i owned lasted for many years. lots of scratches and the white stripes are dingy, however, they still look good as a very worn shoe that has seen a lot.
the only thing i don't like about shell toes are the width of the shoe. it's a tad bit narrow - i wish it was a few centimeters wider.
but, all in all, if they keep making this shell toe, i will continue to buy it!

I first had a black and white pair of these shoes. They were nice and lasted for years. Only the back where you slide in your foot looks a bit worn, other than that they still look new. I bought a pair of all black shoes to meet my companies dress code. They are really comfortable and let me move around at a quick pace.

JUST WORE MY NEW PAIR FOR THE FIRST TIME TODAY. THEY FELT GREAT. I LOVE THE OLD CLASSIC DESIGN. ALMOST THE SAME AS THE ORIGINALS. ANYWAY A GREAT PAIR OF SHOES. I WOULD RECOMMEND THESE FOR ANYONE THAT WANT THAT OLD SCHOOL LOOK AND FIT!

This has been my favorite sneakers for the last bazillion years....at least 30 anyway.
They have great support and they feel *solid*. I've tried many others (including many brands) and this is the one I prefer. I prefer this one *model*.
The Adidas Superstar is also a great *dance* sneaker. I put "chrome" leather on the bottom of one pair of sneakers (using contact cement) and now I can use them for social dancing on wood floors! Again, they have great support and great protection for the feet. I appreciate that this model continues to be sold after all these years.

I have had a lot of shoes over the past 10 years that have not had the comfort and style as these do and I have to say that is the reason I don't buy shoes very often(less then once a year). I found it difficult to find a good selection in style and comfort and these definitely where a perfect fit for me.

I just purchased 5 pairs of Adidas Superstar 2.0's in multiple colors. I love these shoes because they fit terrific, look great, & I've never had any issues with them since I purchased my first pair years ago. I ordered them online & they all came in at the same time in a timely manor. I'll be a customer for life because I know what to expect & am confident in Adidas to continue to satisfy my interest in their products. THANK YOU ADIDAS!!!

They look classic. They feel classic. They are what they are promoted to be. Classic style and performance... for those of us who aren't looking for the next best thing. We just want a product that serves our purposes well without a lot of fluff. Super shoe... great value!

I think I may have paid a little more than I should for the three stripes running down the sides of these shoes but other than that they are good. Comfortable, supportive, stylish.

These shoes, especially the white overall and black stripes, are a classic look that will match with almost any shorts or jeans. The only problem with this is that the white tends to get very dirty and the textured toes are not the easiest to clean.
They're very comfortable, but not the most waterproof shoes. Don't recommend wearing in the rain.

I got the green and white ones cause they're the closest things to the stan smiths for now. I actually found them in a small enough men's size to fit my girl feet! lol Omg, why dont yall make more styles for women??? I wanted a pair of the 25th anniv run dmc SOOOO bad and couldnt find a pair that small in stock anywhere. Women like retro stuff too ya know! haha But these are just too cute and that crisp white and green looks killer with all my jeans! Hurry up with the new stan smith release please! lol They also got her way faster the expected! Thanks y'all!

I am a notre dame fan so i got the green stripe superstar and also the blue strips, i love green stripes shoes look sweet, the blue strips look good also just wish it was a dark navy instead of a light blue, it looks darker online

Bought these shoes for my boyfriend as a replacement pair for his current, falling apart shell toes. He was surprised that I thought to get them, and was impressed by the fairway/white color combo. Will definately be buying again.
