Very good design. Good for skateboarding. The laces come down far enough to support side loads on the forefoot.
The ankle padding comes up high enough to protect the point of the ankle, and descends toward the heel, leaving room for the Achilles.
I like the rip-stop canvas upper.
The sole has just the right amount of grip. Feels like it's pressure sensitive.
The heel liner seems sturdy, I hope. I would like more arch and heel cushioning, and maybe an impact cup over the ankle point...but, there's some good ankle padding.
I like board feel, and the light weight, but a more well cushioned sole would help.
Great shoe overall, board control very good.

These shoes not only look great, but they also feel great too. i personally don't generally like high tops but in this case i make an exception. Adidas out did themselves in the cross between comfort, design, and overall application on this. I highly recommend this pair of shoes to anyone wanting something good looking yet comfortable.

My son really loves these shoes, they are versatile with the mid-top and he has used them for basketball and general everyday wear.
