Rated 5 out of 5 by Great shoe, but needs one small fix I've owned several pairs of Gazelles. Great shoe, but Adidas needs to start cutting a slot in the shoe tongue, so the laces can be threaded through it. This will prevent the tongue from sliding side-to-side. I always have to cut a slot with an X-Acto knife. July 18, 2011
Rated 5 out of 5 by Adidas Gazelle (the orginals) I've loved these shoes ever since I was first introduced to them by my older cousin in 1997. The pair she passed down to me were old and worn in and I wore them until they were unrepairable. I love the great arch support for my feet and the thick soles for everyday use walking around or wearing to work (where I'm standing the entire time!). These shoes are a great product that give me what I need time and time again. Did I mention I LOVE the price point of these shoes, too?!! June 2, 2011
Rated 5 out of 5 by Quality Replacement Shoe I bought these to replace my favorite old, warn out adidas shoes. I was looking for something just as classic as what I was replacing, and this is what I found. So far, I have found that, because of the suede and the solid sole, the shoe seems very durable. Also because of these two things, the shoes have been a little stiff, and slow to break in. This is fine, though, because it means that the shoes are durable. The sizing seemed right on, as my previous adidas shoes have also been. Overall, I am very pleased with the shoes, and they are shaping up to be a suitable replacement for my recently retired favorite shoes! March 29, 2013

I thought it wasn't going to be comfortable at all but I was wrong. i wear it everyday and its pretty durable. For me it runs a little too narrow but I have wide feet. Rated 4 out of 5 by a shoe well worth the price I have been wearing only Adidas for the last 6 years so I know a thing or two about Adidas brand shoes. This shoe has a very good build quality, they use some good materials in the base of the shoe, but the tongue is made of what feels like some sort of Styrofoam it kind feels a little flimsy, which is odd because the rest of the shoe is well built. another issue I have is the piece behind the Achilles tendon, I have noticed when driving, this tends to irritate my Achilles tendon a bit (especially long trips). but the look of the shoe is flat out awesome very clean with bold use of the white, with a simple design. +Pros -very clean style -white tongue -surprisingly durable -good fit -Cons -cheap feeling tongue (although it has not shown any signs of wear yet after a month of use) -back leather may irritate the Achilles tendon when driving long distances. overall I give this shoe a 4/5 its not as comfortable as the Adidas skateboarding shoe or the ceiros i previously have worn, but they look so good. This shoe is the best shoe i have ever danced with. Not only that it looks good while u dance but in general they look great to. if u want a shoe for dancing or fashion i really recommend this shoe. The laces broke after about a month and now the sole is detaching. I think that if you want these just to look good once in a while they are great but if you live an active life and want them everyday don't even think about it. January 9, 2013

Next, do they have any shoes in stock. I cant stand shoes that make him look like he has BOZO feet. The Gazelle were GREAT, EXCELLENT quality, a price that my pockets LOVE. I picked up a pair of these and wore them to a Detroit Pistons game last week. You should have heard all of the compliments :) Dude, nice shoes...... Hey man, like the treads........, retro bro! Rated 4 out of 5 by Shoes from childhood My son wore these shoes as a youth and remembered how comfortable they were and asked for a pair for his 33rd birthday. He was very happy with the blue ones. He does have a wide foot and I wish they came in wide widths, but he says they will stretch out as he wears them. We shall see. May 1, 2011

Shoes arrived on time and in pretty good condition, the only issue was that there was a bit too much glue on the front of my right shoe, normally it wouldn't be noticeable, however, since the shoes are black and made of suede it did stand out. Overall I was content with my purchase and will continue to shop Adidas. September 11, 2011

At first they are a bit snug width-wise, but they loosen up quickly and are comfortable. One thing to point out is the back is a bit high and might agitate the ankle area a little bit. April 13, 2013

Rated 5 out of 5 by Outstanding Shoe! I've been wearing only Adidas for the last 15 years, and I must say, Gazelles are definitely the best. I bought my last pair 4 years ago and since then it's been the only shoe I've worn (aside from dress shoes), just because they're so great! They fit perfectly to size, are super lightweight, and I didn't even have to break them in on the day they arrived.The leather NEVER wears out at all, in any place on the shoe, the grip pattern has just barely worn most of the way off after 4 years of hard wear (I use these for EVERYTHING), the laces still haven't even begun to fray, and even after 4 years, the arch support is still there! My only complaints are that the soles of the shoes compressed a bit more than I would have liked, but I only started noticing that after the 3.5 year mark, so I can't complain there, and the tongue seems cheap, however it shows absolutely no sign of wear, and doesn't rub off all the hair on my legs like the Sambas do, so I'd have to say it's good too! I've worn out pairs of Superstars, Tributes, OG Gazelles, Stan Smiths, Nizzas, Sambas, and Campuses, and these are easily the best shoe for your money. Go scroll up and click buy. March 13, 2013
