Powerlift 2.0 Shoes

The number one thing a weightlifting shoe needs is stability, so the men's Powerlift 2.0 is made with a wide, solid base and a high-density midsole. A light mesh upper and an instep strap over the laces give you lockdown support.
  • Mesh and synthetic leather upper for light weight, support and durability
  • Comfortable textile lining
  • Single instep strap for additional rearfoot integrity
  • Weight-distribution plate
  • Weightlifting-engineered, high-density die-cut midsole wedge for lightweight stability
  • NON MARKING rubber outsole; Traction pattern for grip

Rated 5 out of 5 by Great shoe The shoes feel and look great, they're of very high quality and should last for years. As someone who struggles with mobility/ being able to hit depth consistently while squatting these have helped for sure, my form improved and I felt stable throughout all lifts. Like a lot of other reviews the issue with size arose for me, I'm usually a size 10 but I ordered a size 10 1/2 with these, they were still a little too tight on one of my feet, I'd recommend either going up 1 whole size or chancing the 1/2 size up like I did. I would consider picking up the power perfect 2 over these if you're struggling with mobility but for the price you really can't go wrong on these and adidas have a great return policy that's very easy to go through. I've uploaded a few pics of these in another colour from adidas speciality + one picture with my thumb by the elevated heel to give you some size reference in regards to how much of an elevated heel these have. Rated 5 out of 5 by Powerlift 2 I measured my foot according to the size guide. I stepped on a piece of paper and measured the foot. My foot is 27.2 cm with socks on. I ordered size 44 2/3 (27.6 cm) and fits prefect to me. Almost to small on my toes, but still perfect to me. The shoe is good and stable to use and there is a big difference compared with ordinary gymnasitk shoes. Good quality and I like theam :) June 18, 2015
Rated 4 out of 5 by Happy customer Nice shoe. I have been using them happily for squats, OHP, and deficit DLs. They are comfortable, stable (although I am only 125lb so not squatting massive numbers), light in my gym bag, economical, and even get compliments for their appearance. A note on size for any other gals purchasing this shoe: I'm a woman's size 8 and got men's size 6.5 as recommended on a lifting forum and they fit like a glove. The men's size 7 which I "should" be per the sizing chart would definitely have been too large. February 14, 2014
Rated 2 out of 5 Not the shoe for me In my collection, I have the Adipowers, Adistars 04, and Adistars 08. All of which are weightlifting shoes that I've used on average 5x a week for about 2.5hrs each time snatching and cleaning.. These new Powerlift 2.0 are not suitable on the platform. Probably better for, 'forging elite fitness' and kippings. The description is really lacking and they used the same words to describe the heel as the Power Perfect 2 #which are a good true Oly shoe# so I figured, they would be OK. Turns out, they're more of a hybrid Crossfit/Oly shoe. The heel is not dense and has quite a bit of flex. I will be sticking to my Adipowers. Looks like Adidas is targeting the Crossfit crowd with this one and they should've included it in their description. I recommend the Adistars 08 as the best oly shoe. On the plus side, they do look great. June 3, 2013
Rated 5 out of 5 by Solid Lifting Shoe I had been lifting with my chucks until I tried these on. Felt very solid and stable unracking from the squat rack. 3/4" heel is perfect for me in terms of not pushing my knee too forward. Good ROM throughout. Heel does not compress at all when I push down on it with my thumb. Overall a good purchase. Would recommend them. November 18, 2014
Rated 5 out of 5 by Everything as expected The shoe fits true to size, and is consistent with all adidas shoes. Product looks exactly like the image. Fits very snug, but perfect space in the shoe as well. You will notice an instant difference in the squat with the elevated heel. I was very hesitant about sizing, but it fitted perfect. If you are unsure about sizing, they fit exactly how their runners fit. March 19, 2015
Rated 4 out of 5 by Highly recommend Awesome lifting shoes! I'm a female power & Olympic lifter and I find them very supportive, especially around the ankle. The raised heel makes for a just right fit. November 19, 2014
Rated 4 out of 5 by great fit, stable I was wary ordering shoes online, but I went ahead and took the chance- glad I did! I'm an 8.5 women's and the 7.5 men's fit perfectly. I haven't found them to help my squat too much (but, I'm on a cut, so mainatiang is good enough!), but I have noticed A huge difference in my clean and jerk and my snatch. I was slippery in socks, and felt grimey going barefoot, this solves my proplem! January 15, 2014
Rated 5 out of 5 by Definitely worth buying!! I bought these for my fiance as a Christmas present. I took a chance & ordered these ones as they were half the price of others online. My fiancé is a bodybuilder & considering how cheap they are compared to others online - he absuloutly loves these shoes! They're not suitable to walk in (not even to the gym) unless you want to wear down the heel. The heel is a great advantage (so he tells me) as it gives you stability & firmness when deadlifting. By far the best present I could've ever got him. Great quality, very comfy, red/black looks great, excellent customer services & fast delivery. Very good value for money & NOT a cheap quality product. January 5, 2015
Rated 4 out of 5 by great stability, but go half-size down! this is my first lifting shoe my ankle mobility was hindering progress on my squat (back and front) these solve my ankle mobility problem and offer great stability. really feel locked into the floor make sure to go .5 size down as they run a bit big IMO October 10, 2013
