adistar Boost ESM Shoes This shoe rocks!
November 23 2015

Awesome shoe, have been wearing it for years! Great support for those with weak ankle or flexible forefoot. This time the 7.5 size was slightly too long, but overall this shoe rocks the runs every time! (10-21km runs) ... read more

First time I was on the trademill with this shoes, I could not believe how good it felt. I like shoes with lots of support and stability (I have flat feet) and this is it. I cannot believe how much this shoes made running more fun. Congratulation Adidas! You finally found material that is better than gel or air. ... read more

October 22 2015

I had the previous model and loved them!! They were my favorite sneakers hands down! Not thrilled with this version, not as much support. I feel like it's causing a flare of an old plantar fasciitis. I am back to wearing my old sneakers for now. It looks like I am not alone with many reviewers preferring the previous design. Love the colors in this version but bring back the old sneaker!! Please! ... read more

Supernova Sequence Boost 8 Shoes Love these!
October 04 2015

I absolutely love these shoes and have now purchased in three colors. I have low arches and they provide me the stability I need to do all my workouts. I am not a runner, but I do a lot of weight training and high impact workouts. I find these to be light weight, very supportive and true to size. I also like the color selections, although the pink is much brighter in person and not to my taste. ... read more

September 19 2015

I need a good support sneaker due to a knee injury. This was recommended by a running store but I'm now not sure that I got the right sneaker! I remember trying on one style and the heel was too loose. The other was just right. Well, guess what! I think I got the wrong shoe because my sock slipped down and my heel slipped up. The next time I wore a different, thicker, pair of socks and it was OK. However, the rest of the sneaker was comfortably snug. I did not purchase the in-store sneaker because I need neutral colors. They said to order direct because they could not get the color I wanted.(PLEASE make good sneakers in colors that can be used as a dress shoe!) For the cost, I'm rating this an average sneaker. ... read more

Supernova Sequence Boost 8 Shoes Stiff material on the top of these shoes
September 04 2015

I really wish they would make these shoes with the Primeknit or techfit or some kind more stretchy forgiving fabric/structure on the top. The whole bottom of the shoe feels well constructed, seems to give support and stability - but the toe box is too low in these shoes- making them tight in the toes - need more room in the front! ... read more

Energy Boost ESM Shoes Needs work...
August 22 2015

I love the original boosts - best shoes I have ever owned. I was an early adopter and I am on my fourth pair of energy boosts. The ESM's fit nothing like the original and I would move to the Ultra, however the sole on the Ultra does not hold up. I hope the new update on the energy boost brings back the original toe cap. I concur with many of the folks that have written reviews, the original boost was close to perfection and had taken a step back with the energy boost 2 esm. ... read more

August 16 2015

Having purchased many of the supernovas previously, this new boost is only average. The shoe has minimal spring/cushion when compared to running shoes. The sides now stick out awkwardly of this updated model when the previous shoe did not. I hope the next model will be more streamlined and feel more comfortable to wear. ... read more

Energy Boost ESM Shoes Miss the original Boosts!
August 14 2015

I fell in love with the original boosts....and continue to wear them often because they are perfect...but warn down.I bought 3 different pairs of "newer" boosts and like them, and can wear them, BUT, I don't LOVE them like the original. The hard plastic is too confining, and I don't like the tongue being one piece. I wish, wish, wish WISH you would consider bringing the originals back. I would buy a boat load of them myself and am a great advertiser! Energy Boost ESM Shoes Energy Boost ESM Shoes--Love the Navy!
August 03 2015

I purchased this shoe in the navy, which I really like b/c it's not easy to find navy shoes for women. Style #S77551. My foot is narrow and I wear a 7.5. The length and width of the shoe is perfect. The first thing I noticed when I first put it on is that it felt high in the back, in the heel area. So I'm anxious to see if I am going to like this or not and also if this will affect my heel (blisters, discomfort, etc.) so I might have to place another review to update. Right now I am wearing them indoors to break them in to be certain I like them. One thing I would like to know is whether or not this specific shoe is a Neutral shoe. Could someone from Adidas answer this, perhaps? I am hoping to wear this shoe in the upcoming TCS NYC Marathon. Breaking them in before I make this decision. I hope I am going to like these. :) ... read more

Energy Boost ESM Shoes Give me back the old boost:(
August 02 2015

Adidas! I love you! But, you have ruined this shoe. I've owned two previous versions of this shoe - the first being the best fit I've ever had. The second version the toe box was less snug (I like it snug, but stretchy) and the midfoot cage went from synthetic leather to plastic. This latest version has an even bigger toebox and the same plastic midfoot! The shape of the toebox has also changed. If I could find the 2013 version of the energy boost, I would purchase many, but for now, I'm going to have to look elsewhere for my next road shoes. ... read more

adistar Boost ESM Shoes Only shoes I wear
July 25 2015

I've had a few pairs of these shoes and they are the only running shoe I can wear. I have bad knees and very little natural cushioning on the balls of my feet. These shoes have great support and the most cushioning of any other shoe I've tried--and I've tried several. I thought I was going to need to give up running before I found these. My only complaint--the colors aren't the greatest. My current ones are an ugly khaki color and aqua. Grey and aqua would have been so much better! I'm usually not thrilled with the color selection, but I wear them anyway because they feel so good. ... read more

This is my second pair of Boost shoes and I will never stray! Less hamstring pain and great for road running. The toe box is a bit wide for my narrow feet, but I get less toe issues, so that must be good. I have some foot issues with pinched nerves and the extra cushioning helps with that. Agree with others that this is a running shoe, not designed for a P90X plyo workout, does not handle side to side movement well. ... read more

Really comfortable and attractive shoe. It was too tight on the top of my foot (and you can't adjust because it's all one piece). Otherwise they felt great. adistar Boost ESM Shoes Love These Shoes!
February 12 2015

These are seriously the most AMAZING shoes to ever grace my feet. I was having some pretty bad knee pain when I was running, so I went to a specialty running store and got a gait analysis done (which I highly recommend and is usually free), and after trying on many other shoes, I was amazed when I put these on. They are light, breathe extremely well, provide awesome support while maintaining good flexibility, and they come in more neutral colors than some of the more ostentatious colors by other brands. I can't say enough about them! The price can be a little shocking, but the guy at the running store told me that because of their high quality build, they last for 500-600 miles per pair, instead of the usual 300-400 in other shoes. They are worth every penny. My husband and I now both own a pair, and they have been great to us for over 6 months now. ... read more

Energy Boost ESM Shoes Love, Love, Love!
February 11 2015

I only ever wear Adidas because I have really narrow feet. In preparation for a mararthon I was running, I consulted a local running store about a new pair of shoes, and they recommended Adidas Energy Boost 2. I purchased a 7.5 (my regular Adidas shoe size) and unfortunately they fit so tightly that I couldn't train in them. However, I wear them pretty regularly now and I have to say that I couldn't be happier with the way they fit. They are great for someone with a narrow foot, and once broken in they are really, really comfortable and supportive! I'm training for another marathon again this year and am definitely interested in trying out the latest Energy Boost model! ... read more

adistar Boost ESM Shoes Excellent serious runners shoe
January 31 2015

I am a retired semi elite 10km runner (but I still run seriously without racing). I've been running in saucony guide and their predecessors for twenty years. They recently changed it so majorly I can't wear them anymore. I've been struggling ever since to find "my" shoe. I've tried all sorts of models of asics, saucony, Nike, brooks, etc., and none of them were right. I finally tried Adidas boost and was pleasantly surprised at the cushioning and especially their durability. I later bought a pair of Adistar boost and their superiority was apparent immediately. They offer far more cushioning, especially in the heel, than almost all the other brands I've tried (and more than the regular boost), a necessity for the mountainous terrain I run on. Yet the Adistar achieves this without adding weight or compromising durability, the two problems often associated with extra heel cushioning. The divided heel section is brilliant, offering superior cushioning during the initial heel strike. It also provides the smoothest heel to forefoot transition of any shoe I've run in for the last twenty years. This makes it a quick shoe. The easy transition also means it limits runners fatigue, as you're not labouring through each stride but transitioning quickly. You can run a lot further in them for the same amount of every expenditure. Another awesome feature is the continental rubber on the outsole. These shoes last a long time in both the outer and midsole. They outlast other running shoes by an extra 25-50% distance. This makes them well worth the price. The only thing I wish was different was more traction. Half of what I run are mountain trails, and these are really designed for road use only. ... read more

adistar Boost ESM Shoes Worth the money
November 27 2014

I have been waiting for these running shoes and they are worth the wait. I love the Adistar shoe and the Boost energy heel is amazing. I am used to Adidas running shoes so I am accustomed to their fit. I do not find them to be shoes that run small or a tight. These are phenomenal shoes that help with my slight pronating issue and very high arch. The Adistar shoes are good, sturdy light weight shoes. I have to agree that the black and bright pink look a bit "young" for my age....but I could learn to live with the colour. Excellent shoe! ... read more

adistar Boost ESM Shoes Nice Shoe
August 03 2014

I wanted a shoe for walking and standing long hours and the on-line advisor suggested the Energy Boost shoe. I chose the Adistar because it helps with pronating. I had to go from my normal size 10 to an 11, but it fits perfectly. I have tried both available colours and I don't like either. So I'm sending back and waiting for Adidas to produce them in a different color range. I tried the men's Adistar ESM Boost, too, because I like the color better. Unfortunately they are just not fitting me right. Disappointed! ... read more
