I got my Samba's for my 13th birthday back in like 2005 (i'm 23). Samba's are THE UTILITY SNEAKER! Everyday wear, pick-up games, lifting shoes whatever. Surprisingly one of my favorite shoes to commute via bicycle on because of the sole's ruggedness. These shoes have been with me through college, trips through the middle east, and i'm still wearing them today in the gym and around town. Dear Adidas, Thank you. P.S. If we could get some white colour on the gum sole, you'd make one happy boy.
This boot is great for wide footed players, and the upper material stretches a bit and hugs around your feet really well! The upper is a little thicker and harder than the natural leather, but this boot has a great feel for shooting! I think natural leather with a softer material offers slightly better feel for first touch and dribbling the ball. The soleplate is a great option for playing on artificial grass by having shorter and rounded studs for better rotation and turning on the ground without locking your foot in place which can be dangerous on your knees. I think this boot will be better if the upper is a little softer and thinner! The upper is still an improvement from previous Adidas cleats. Overall, this is an awesome boot by Adidas!
I've always purchased and loved F50's. The X 15.1's are very comparable. They are more comfortable to wear - lock in the heel really well. The look great too. There's a really good feel on the ball and I like the stud pattern. Overall, very happy with these boots. Looking forward to more colours being released.
I bought last seasons Predators of Prodirect for a cut price deal as they were out of season. This was a mistake, they came up way too small. I am not entirely sure how Adidas measured their boots last season, but Im pretty sure it was incorrect. To be honest though, the mistakes of last season are no more, and after stumping up a bit of extra cash to replace the Predators, the new Ace 15.1 have been a delight. No time needed to wear them in or get your feet accustomed to them. Great fit straight from the box, to the pitch. They look pretty decent too.
The boots come up slightly smaller than usual. I am a standard UK8.5 /adidas 9, but had to take a 9.5. That aside, the boots are the usual high quality finish and look. Really enjoy the feel and comfort of the fit. Highly recommend the boots.
The Estro 15 Jersey is a solid choice for anyone looking for something better than a cotton tshirt but less formal than a kit jersey. I wear one while coaching during the week, playing an occasional pick-up game and as a team jersey in my weekend indoor league. They are lightweight, very comfortable and have held up nicely after months of being laundered on a regular basis. I am tall with a long torso, so the length is perfect for me, but may seem long for other people.
This ball is one of the best, if not the best soccer ball you can buy. The materials that this ball is made from are great, the finish on the ball is not completely smooth, the white panels of the ball have a slight texturing that make a night and day difference to a completely smooth ball, keep in mind that this texture is not as pronounced, or raised as the top end ball, but I have used it in rainy days and it works great in wet weather, the ball does not slip from under your foot unlike the cheaper, lower quality balls, plus it does not rip easily either, which makes the durability great. The thermal bonding on the ball helps it to not absorb as much water as stitched balls, also the ball feels much more fluent to the hand as well as when playing with it, it also looks much more better than the stiched ones, and the ball also has a very light construction, which feel great when shooting it. The ball also looks much better than a lot of other balls on the market, but if you are specifically looking for a cheaper alternative to the 160$ top of the line ball from the champios league that looks alike, this ball pretty much is the only ball that does that, because the cheaper balls in the champins league line all have the standard 32 panel construction and the panels are not in the shape of stars, which kills the design, and the shiny finish to them looks cheap. If you are looking for a ball that looks great, performs great, and has good quality, this is the ball you should get, if you have the extra 20$ to spend on a ball (that is the difference from the cheaper one) that has barely any differences from the 160$ one, go for it, because this ball is 10 times better than the lower quality balls in the line, and I would reccomed this to anyone looking for a training ball for dailly use, that can undoubtably be used for a game ball, also for coaches that are looking to buy their team a nice set of balls. all in all this is the best value ball money can buy
A nice wide boot which is comfort to wear from the box and does not need much break in time. A good feel with the ball and they are light but a quality feel to them. Would recommend the orange pair over the green as the back of the boot gets black marks from the AF ground or other boots making contact and once on the green the marks seem impossible to remove.
They are extremely good boots, not only does the whole boot look extremely good, but they also are great in performance. The techfit collar provides good support for your ankle and makes the boot very comfortable. They still remain lightweight de spicy this extra support so if your looking for a lightweight boot this could be for you. The only downside is that the boot may be slightly narrow for those with wider feet.
My son loved his shirt, it's excellent quality and looks great. However, it was for his 15th birthday - he's 5 feet six inches and pretty skinny, and the Adult Medium size fits him well now - no room to grow into. In my view, a skinny, five feet six inch 15 year old wouldn't be a natural Adult Medium!
The shorts come with the crest already on unlike stated in the other review. The quality is good as expected and the delivery was quick. My only wish would be that the shorts were a little longer but that might just be because I'm 6'4" so have long legs.
These football shoes are possibly the best alongside the classic Adidas world cup boots! The comfort is unbelievable, they don't even require a breaking time! You put them on, you are ready to play and "cause chaos". I will certainly recommend those boots to all my football friends!
I've worn these shoes for close to a month. I love the touch of the new upper surface and the extra studs on the bottom of the soles. However the heel is very unconformable to me and leaves me with the most painful blisters on both of my ankles. The shoes were ever so slightly not long enough for my foot and I lost a half of toe nail on my right foot due to the fit. I had to send them back. I look forward to the next design.
Really great boot fits well in the foot and fits amazingly. Really confortable and light. Perfect for the modern striker and central attacking midfielders. You almost dont even feel them because of how comfortable the are.
I have the Miadidas version but fits just the same. When I first wore these, I thought I was putting on old predators again and I've been a Predator fan since I was a kid. The feeling is similar, but much improved. The touch and feel of the ball is great!! Had no problem breaking them in and wore them for an entire match with no rips or any of the sort. The sole is fantastic! You can definitely feel the difference between firm and artificial turf which is great! Above all an amazing cleat!! Great job Adidas!!
I have always worn predators and was disheartened when adidas discontinued the range. I was reluctant to buy the ace at first but i am so glad that I did. They aces are a lot more lightweight than the predator but the control and feel of the boot is not compromised. I would highly recommend this boot and they fit true to size. An added bonus was the fantastic service provided by adidas as the boots were delivered quickly upon purchase. A great purchase for any footballer at any level.
In a footballing market where us with wide feet are severely overlooked, the Ace 15.1 is very welcomed, with a nice fit, and a nice light touch on the ball. The reason for not getting a full 5 star, is the sole plate takes a while to losen as well as a lot of heel slippage at the start! Overall much better than the X 15.1!
These shorts are great. I have always worn adidas soccer gear. The material and light weight feel is a testament to their great product and evolution. Perfect for playing soccer, or just any physical activity!
i bought a pair hoping that they would be better than the F50 15.1 . They were much better the material was thin and much easier to break in, it was not a thick and overall better ball touches and not as tight on my toes even with there being no space in the front to slide my foot around. The only drawback is that the tech fit collar needs to be higher up the ankle you don't really feel it as much lower down. The new stud pattern is great making quick turns at high speed is easy along with being able to stop on a dime. This is an amazing cleat and needs to just have some more color options.
Granted the description for these team shorts do not differ from other team replica shorts that adidas sells with a patch. But for $45 for a pair of replica shorts you'd think a sewn on patch of the team crest would be there. I bought some of these a few years back and the shorts then had the patch of the team crest. So for this fact I am a little disappointed in the end product. I considered returning these as a result, but didn't want to hassle with it.
I was upgrading from some copas, so I decided to try these out. They fit a half size bigger than the copas - I have wider feet. The first day I used them my arch was sore. But the next few uses that was all done with. They're really comfortable and they fit really snug. They're nice and light and I can feel the ball really well with them. And the color is popping as well. Definitely the best boots I've ever bought and I'd buy them again in the future.
The 2015/2016 kit fits so much more different than the 2014/2015. The sizes seem to run smaller but fit better to the body. The left picture shows the 2014/2015 replica Large I have while the right one is the new 2015/2016 replica Medium. I'm a 5'8 165lb guy.
I've had this Cleat for just over a month and love them. I little more expensive than I would like but I would make the purchase again and again... The amount of control and spin you can put on the ball is revolutionary. Adidas only has one problem now and that is they have to try and top this Cleat with something new!!!!
I bought this for personal training, really able to assist someone serious about improving their shot. No complaints, excellent ball (just a bit below Brazuca quality), fast charge, instant data. What's not to love.
These shorts are as attractive in person as they are online. They are lightweight, comfortable, and breathe very well. They are great for sports because THEY DO NOT HAVE POCKETS. If you are looking for something with pockets, do not look in a sports section because almost all sports require clothing without pockets for safety reasons.
