This shoe is interesting. It looks great in pictures but in reality, the material on the toe box - that reverse-studded neoprene - looks cheap in person. This shoe's sole is very comfortable BUT it is a bit narrow for a size 9 (what I normally wear). It also has terrible breathability. Upon closer inspection, some of the the dimples on the polyester are actual perforations but the majority are not. This shoe becomes an oven very quickly. The material on the back of the shoe (the white) is very nice. Overall, shoe is disappointing since it looks and feels worse than what I'd expect from adidas.
As a high school distance runner, I have run over 150+ miles in these. As a neutral striker, I was looking for something that would give me support in the mid foot and in parts of the heel. These did not give me proper support in that area, and my runs would be very uncomfortable. However, these are perfect for tempos and other speed workouts.
Truly pains me that I had to return these due to inconsistent sizing and fit. The left shoe fit great but the right was way off. Traction and cushion were all time. I had the most issues with the shallow heel cup and the lacing was a bit off for me. Really too bad because these are one of the most comfortable hoop shoes I've ever put on. Lock down was just a little too unstable for me personally. If the ankle collar was just 2 cm higher in the heel, I think they would've been perfect.
Phenomenal shoe! The bounce sole provides amazing cousin, great traction even on dusty floors, primeknit is extremely comfortable and breathable while keeping your foot locked down! Color ways could be better, but all around brilliant shoe for a great price too.
Great pair with quality materials. Boost provides the best cushioning out of any runner brands. 10/10 would buy again. Called friends telling them if they don't have these yet, then they need to purchase a pair. Boost is the best. Plan on qualifying for Boston my next marathon in these. Make you run faster and jump higher. Lightweight, breathable, Adidas you did it again. A+ pair, the best runner I've ever owned.
Let me begin by saying I love these shoes. I've had them for a week and have used them every day for high bar squats. I have poor ankle mobility due to an old fractured tibia that still has a plate and screws in place, yet the heel lift in the AdiPowers help me keep an upright posture which in turn has eliminated my low back pain. I have gone from a wide hip dominant low bar squat to a narrower stance high bar squat that is more quad dominant. I'm not big on style but they look and fit great! The Velcro strap sets very secure and the tongue doesn't slide down the inside. I wear only for squats so I can't say if they help or are comfortable for other lifts.
Really comfortable shoe. I would have given this shoe five stars except I am undetermined if the cushioning in the forefoot is less than previous or not. After some longer runs, I've found my front foot pads a little tender; it may be because I have been off running for a period because of injury and am now getting back to longer distances. Still the shoe forms around the foot very nicely and the heel cushioning and support is excellent.
The look and comfort of this shoe are both great. However, I have had my foot completely slip out of the shoe THREE times while making cuts in a basketball game. I tied them tighter and it still happened. That is the sign of a flawed product when it comes to performance.
I am a regular 9.5 and ordered a size 11 based on past experience with a similar product. I think 11.5 would start to slip in the heal. Excellent shoe. Comfortable. Originally ordered the LG, but found it too overbuilt and reinforced in the mid sole area. These are light which adds to their sense of ease and speed.
Adidas Crazylight Boost low is by far the best basketball shoe ive played in. Now, Iam not a hooper but i do play rec and with Friends. The quality of the shoe is great and the bost is felt during play. Pretty good traction, very comfotable, and your feet Will not Hurt afterwards. The only problem is the fit of The shoe, you need to go half a size down. Other than that you Will get your moneys worth, HANDS DOWN.
Great low top shoe. Full length boost provided solid cushioning and the upper of the shoe fits very comfortably and snug. The continental rubber used on the sole makes for excellent traction. Beware, the shoe runs half a size to a full size too big. So if you wear an 11, go ahead and get a 10 or 10 1/2
Not sure why people are so in love with this shoe. The Crazylight Boost Low 2016 is definitely an above average shoe (especially for how much it costs in comparison to competitors). Pros: Boost- very comfortable-- different feel from Ultra BOOST because the BOOST is more dense and compacted Traction- A1, awesome/great/phenomenal. The use of continental rubber definitely helps and makes it more the outsole more sticky and durable Material: Jacquard is very durable and definitely better than most fused uppers. Flexible and soft enough to provide comfort and durable enough to not tear or rip easily. Cons: Lockdown- HORRIBLE. Lots of heel slippage when walking, running, and jumping. I thought lockdown would be a given in 2016 for any basketball shoe (even if it's a low top because they do exist) Fit- WTH?! 1. The shoe is outrageously extra long so going down a half size is actually like going up a half size in a normal shoe. If you go down a FULL size in the Crazylight BOOST 2016 then you're actually getting your normal size that you would purchase for any other shoe (I hope that makes sense) 2. There is only 4 lace holes/ eyelets! Why adidas did this is beyond me and it doesn't make sense. I don't think that is related to any heel slippage, but rather having only 4 lace holes doesn't keep the foot from sliding around in the shoe and keeping the shoe molded/hugging your foot. It's very abnormal to only have 4 lace holes when most others shoes average 6-8 lace holes which seems to get the job done lockdown wise. Overall, I would still consider this shoe to be above average because of the great traction (which you can't find in a lot of shoes out there for some reason) and because of the BOOST which makes it a very comfortable shoe and great for absorbing impact. I gave the shoe 3 starts because it's an above average low top basketball shoe, but lacks a very effective lockdown which is essential to me because if a basketball shoe doesn't have great lockdown then I might as well play in tennis shoes.
I was disappointed in the lack of cushion on these shoes. I am used to wearing Ultra Boost off court and D Rose 6 on court and was hoping for the same feel--not even close. If you are looking for that boost feel, go with the Crazy Explosive instead. That said, if you like less cushion and more court feel these might be perfect for you. They are comfortable, but just don't give that boost feel I was expecting. I have a slightly wide foot and true to size on these was perfect for me.
Its comfortable, and fits well. The issue is that when I am playing, and moving hard, the sole of the shoe slips and starts to fold. It is extremely frustrating and ridiculous. A $140 pair of shoes should not have the soles slide around and mess up. No other tennis shoe does this.
The first couple times out these babies have really performed. besides a little blood on the achilles (what cleats dont need to be broken in?) these things are great. great action into the ground and great transfer. My last cleat was the Adizero first generation, and they lasted me 4.5 years. here's to hoping these take after their great-great-great-great ancestors.
Love this product, just not the shoe laces! They come untied even in a double knot. I have bought and given them to customers. I have received the same response. Laces are horrible. Love everything else about shoe
After 6 hours on slight dust wooden floor, comfort level was good, bounce and heel-toe transition very good, traction outstanding, material seems durable. Having narrow feet and weak ankles, I am amazed how supportive a low-top can be.
I am so happy with these shoes! I have always had issues with shin splints and knee pain and have tried all of the major brands but found nothing that helped. These shoes are perfect for really any sort of running I have done with them (even trail running surprisingly enough). They are a little smaller than some brands but I ordered one size up and they fit perfectly! I threw in some Superfeet insoles for extra support and these shoes have officially become the most comfortable runners I've ever owned! Looking forward to putting lots of miles on these!
These cleats definitely look good, but I have had them for two months and they are still not broken in. I wear them at least three times a week and do a good bit of running in them but they still will not break in. After about five to ten minutes of running my feet start to ache badly like new cleats will, but these aren't new anymore and they still hurt my feet.
Narrow fit but comfortable stride. I usually wear a 9.5 US in Adidas Originals but my Ultra boost were a bit too big in 9.5 so I chose 9 in these but they were pretty tight and my toe was too close for comfort to the tip of shoe. I have returned them for a 9.5 and fit is much better. They synthetic materials look cool juxtaposed together. I am going to do some HIT workouts and see how they stand up.
This shoe is amazing. I have a wide foot and wear orthodoics and the fit is a 7/10 for me but cushion and traction are so ridiculous that although it doesn't fit my personal foot well and my heel slips some, it is the best performing basketball sneaker I have. Best cushion I own wise if brandblack Jcrossover 3 is a 5/10, KD9 and Drose 6 are 7/10, this shoe is a 10/10 and the traction blows all those shoes out of the water. Great shoe, the best shoe I have, and the crazy part is it could still be better!
Have put almost 200 miles on a pair that I purchase in early June. Initially, believed that the boost was too much feeling spongy. After a week, I went back to my usual brand. The difference was significant, and for me the turning point. The ST is now my shoe of choice.
Traction is phenomenal. Cushion is absolutely insane. Fit is a bit longer than I'd like it to be. The heel lockdown is the only thing I don't like. It doesn't slip out while playing, but I don't have a secure lockdown feel. Amazing shoe overall. Would definitely double up on. Great job Adidas.
The cleats look great, and become really comfortable after you break them in some, but I've had problems with both pairs of uncaged cleats I had. Both pairs began to have the cleat separate from the shoe after a few summer practices. The shoes look great but I was hoping for some better quality.
These are by far the best low top basketball shoes I have ever worn. The Kobe IVs came out quite awhile ago and have finally been surpassed by the Crazylight 2016! The cushion is outstanding and full length and is even more responsive than the D Rose 6 Boost. Traction is outstanding indoors and outdoors and I never have to wipe. The only suggestion I would make is for people to go a half size down because they do run slightly long. As a Houston Rockets fan I am excited that James Harden will be wearing these instead of his old Nikes that had no cushion and felt like bricks. Also looking forward to his signature shoe when it releases as long as it has full length Boost.
