micoach is all you need to get the results you want.
I never have played soccer, nor will I probably, but these shoes are very comfortable as they are light and fit very well to the foot. they also can take a serious beating be it running, hiking, getting dunked in water, tennis, and just about anything else you care to test them at. My last pair was about 2 years old, and the main reason I got new ones was because I had finally managed to wear down the back of the sole to the point at which the while base under it was showing. Support wise these shoes are pretty decent, however, I would imagine older people or simply those with flat feet might want to look into custom inserts, as these are certianly not running shoes. over the last 6 years I have owned about 5 pairs of these shoes, first the classic ones and the last two have been the millennium ones. All of them held up far longer than most shoes. the leather might look bad after a year and a half of rough use, but the shoes remain solid and I find after about a year or so they really start to mould to ones feet and get even more comfortable. I think another great aspect is the fact that these shoes are not flashy, yet they do not look like plain black shoes. on a side tangent, I wish this box to write reviews in were larger, all this scrolling is a pain. *ignore the what is my soccer level thing, as mentioned I do not play soccer.
Excellent shoe design. A little more substantial than the Classic design. Appearance is over done with too many logos, ice., the toe logo and the gold color addition give it a tacky look. Give it the Classic motif.... it looks more professional.
These cleats are amazing! They are super comfortable and great for striking, receiving, and dribbling the ball, even at a low(er) price. However, this pair of boots certainly isn't the most durable. If you are going to be playing constantly on turf, they lip may begin to separate from the upper (That's what happened to me). Overall, the Gloro 16.1s are amazing leather boots and I reccomend them to anyone debating whether or not to give them a go.
It's been years since I last had a pair of Sambas. I decided to get another pair and I really wish I would have tried them again sooner. They are my go to every day shoes. Comfortable, great arch support and classic.
I'm just now retiring these boots after a year of playing Rugby. The boots are fantastic, comfortable right out the box, the leather is so soft and molds to your foot perfectly! I have had more expensive boots before but nothing has held up quite like these.
I picked up a pair of Gloros on a whim. Once I tried them on I knew I had to buy them. They had the comfort and familiarity of the 11pro but with a more substantial k-leather upper which was buttery soft. I was amazed at the quality of the k-leather on a shoe of this price. I have a pair of Nike Tiempo Legend 6 boots and I honestly prefer wearing the Gloros more. I find them more comfortable with an amazing touch on the ball. I am a size 10 but I did go down a size. Not because they felt loose at my normal size but I took into account the upper stretching a bit due to the k-leather. I was glad I did as the shoes fit and feel perfect. The Gloro is my favorite that I own and i own a lot of soccer boots.
Never played indoor soccer, but I used this shoe for hiking, conoeing, caving, walking around town, school, church, pretty much every dang thing you can think of. I really love the style and reliability the most, but the comfort is also really good.
These shoes were meant to be for indoor soccer but are sooooo much more. These shoes are super durable and have a lot of grip. They have suede which makes them pretty good for skating too. They are very comfortable and when you compare them to a different type of shoe they feel a lot better. I would definitely recommend these shoes to anyone because they are great for sports, running, and just walking around.
Had a billion pairs of sambas in the past. Best shoes ever. These are not those shoes. Now I buy a pair and all of the sudden they're over a size too small, Way too narrow, have a huge arch, and "take weeks to break in." Adidas you have ruined your best product. Do not order these.
These shoes are absolutely amazing. They're stylish, comfortable and I can wear them when playing indoor soccer as well as wear them casually to a event. Great quality as well. I definitely recommend you buy these!
I had a pair of the white classic Sambas and I used to rock them all the time, till the sole came unglued. I have been buying Adidas for 30 years and this never happened. Then my wife bought me a new pair and they changed the label on the tongue to red from blue. RETURN... If they change the label back, I might buy another pair and hope the sole stays in tact.
Comfortable, stylish, and affordable. I've had my (first) pair for over a year now and it still looks great despite how much I've worn them. The sole still looks near brand new, at first glance you wouldn't even be able to tell they've been worn at all. The arch support is great, and the all around comfort of the shoe is just amazing. These bad boys are super durable, look stylish and clean with almost any outfit you pair them with (retro sneakers are simply timeless) and are affordable on almost any budget coming in around $60 on most websites. I accidentally got the wrong size on the first pair I bought and have them to a friend (who they fit perfect) and he pretty much says the same things I do about these shoes. They've become his favorite pair of kicks and he wears them any chance he has. All in all I can't recommend these shoes enough or say enough great things about them. I really hope these never fall out of production and Adidas continues to produce these with the quality standards they have thus far. Love you classic samba's. Never change.
I got my Samba's for my 13th birthday back in like 2005 (i'm 23). Samba's are THE UTILITY SNEAKER! Everyday wear, pick-up games, lifting shoes whatever. Surprisingly one of my favorite shoes to commute via bicycle on because of the sole's ruggedness. These shoes have been with me through college, trips through the middle east, and i'm still wearing them today in the gym and around town. Dear Adidas, Thank you. P.S. If we could get some white colour on the gum sole, you'd make one happy boy.
The inside sole of the sole is too thick, it very tightly pushes my foot to the roof the shoe -- and this is after I've loosened it. The problem is, the shoe isn't soft, it doesn't bend properly when walking, the result =it slips off from the back / the heel portion. I tried removing the soles and then walking; it seemed t alleviate the problem a small amount, however; the shoe was very minimally comfortable.
These boots feel great when you put them on. Definitely best feeling pair of boots I've owned, nice touch on the ball, light, stable. The boot seems to fall apart quicker than the average boot though with the upper coming off the base without too much wear.
I rated these cleats a 5 star because of the overall superior comfort, support. The feel and touch on the ball is Glooorious. The K leather is up to par and the synthetic heal is a non-issue. I have a slightly wide foot for a size 9 so I ordered a 9.5 since I wear 2 sets of socks. Cons: The laces are good and strong but a bit short. I can only make a small tie and they came loose a few times. The insole is good but I can feel the studs underneath just a bit. No pressure points though. Seems like these cleats will last a while with some basic care.
Amazing boot. After harsh play over a weekly basis, the Gloros were ruined within 4 months. Would love to see a bit better durability. Other than that it's an amazing boot. I really wished they would bring Red and all the other colours to Canada, not just only the White, and Black boots.
These are legit the dopest shoes on the market. Not only are they super comfortable, but they look amazing in addition to the tiro 15 training pants. I couldn't be happier with them, and they fit perfectly. Great job Adidas!
I love these shoes with a pair of decent khaki shorts and casual shirt. To me the guy that doesn't want to wear running shoes these are just right, and to guys that play or have played soccer you will understand what I am saying..
This shoe was worth every dollar and cent. For 60$, I got a shoe that was both stylish and versatile. Even after two months of constant use, my shoes still look virtually brand new, unlike my old shoes which yellowed and wore out after a while. My only complaint was that they were very, very tight when I first wore them, but they got better once I breaked them in enough. Another quality product from a renowned shoe manufacturer.
I ordered a size 10, which is the same size that all of my tennis shoes are. The length was fine. However, the width is definitely too narrow. I do not have wide feet either. Just the design of the shoe. I would not recommend for people with normal width feet or wider.
Decent shoe. The feel is good, however the back part of the cleat , looks cheap. Maybe just because of the synthetic material used there...I don't know. However, used to the Adipure IV , Gloro feels a lil' wide at the toe area. That doesn't work for me. The only improvement in my case was the outsole. P.S. I also had a bad luck to receive an irregular left shoe :(
When Adidas released these a while back, it was the moment I had been waiting for. A modern take on the Copa. I bought them and was immediately satisfied at the quality of the boots, they are of the same quality of boots with hefty $200+ price tag. After using them the past 3 month I have to say the are the most comfortable boots I have ever set my feet into. The kangaroo leather on the toe box is very supple and provides a glove like fit, while the synthetic mid foot and heel provide much better support and stability than an all leather shoe. The outsole is also much better than the Copa, much more sturdy. The tongue also is a great feature that I really like. Overall, sublime job from Adidas, they have created a boot that is all I ever need or want, and that's the end of it. Brilliance.
I am using this shoe for work. i work forty hours a week on concrete and my feet feel fine all day long. i have been using this shoe exclusivity for over four years and bought the current two pair so i have backups. They will last me a couple of years.
I have been waiting forever for a modern Copa version. The sole plate on the copa would tent to make me roll my ankles. This sole plate is much more stable, lighter and flexible. The K-leather is enough and not needed on the other part of the boot. The fit is great, close to the copa and there is no substitute one gets from how the ball feels with K-leather. They are crazy comfortable and feel like gloves on you feet like the copa's. I wear a street shoe size 9 US, I wear 8 in copa's The perfect fit wearing the Gloro's is an 8.5 for me. My soccer buddies think I am a bit odd for talking so much about them. Adidas please make an AG version for this model as well.
