Overall, the shoe is very comfortable. The only problem was that the tongue on the left shoe is shorter than the right tongue. The left tongue cuts short at the top where the block logo is, resulting an awkward look compared to the right tongue.
The new look was out of this world and had to try them for college baseball. The ultra boost in the heel is beyond comfortable and hugs your foot very nicely. Very light as well, forms to your foot and very good grip.
Even though i dont have wide feet, after wearing these for 2 day i had to walk around with sandles so the pain would go away from my pinkies, the quality looks to be there, and it looks nice. In my opinion its just a bad design where there stickings where the toes are.
These shoes live up to the standards and reviews everyone has said before. There are a few issues that I have, which may or may not be a deal breaker. I went down a size which is perfect length and width now, but there is still heel slippage. My friends have the same shoe and also encounter the back part of the shoe slipping while playing. The loose back seems to also affect the shoe laces loosening up. I like my shoes nice and snug and hate to stop to retie my laces. The biggest issue with the white shoes is that Adidas did not use continental rubber for the sole. At first the traction does its job, but eventually you'll find yourself wiping the bottom every other possession in the game. This is annoying! Overall these shoes are great though. For its price, there really isn't anything that can argue with it unless you grab the Crazy Explosives. If you're looking for a low top shoe that gives you the freedom to move like a guard and so hard cuts, this is your shoe. The boost sole is also super comfortable and works for impact protection.
I love these shoes! I'm training for football and had a pair of nikes and the comfort level was night and day. Really recommend these for quick lateral movements, balance based workouts, and lifts. Extremely comfortable and well worth the money. Still wish I got the navy blue and red ones when I had the chance :,(
At first they pretty comfy, but then after a few days they started bending know a weird spot and hurting my feet. I have plantar fasciitis and metatarsalgia pain so it's very important for me to have comfortable shoes.
Not your typical tennis shoe that feels like cinder blocks strapped to your feet. Let's face it, most "tennis" shoes suck because they are so darn heavy and severely inhibit one's mobility. I've been through the gamut of tennis shoes and have found these to closest resemble a lightweight running shoe yet simultaneously provide the stability and durability of a heavy court shoe. Adidas has done a fine job engineering this particular iteration of tennis shoes. I'm hopeful that future versions will take on similar design qualities and characteristics.
I was skeptical on buying these shoes at first, but decided I would get them to use as shoes to practice in this season. The moment I opened them up I was in love! I am a huge fan of all white shoes and the color is great, the look is great and they feel awesome! They are a little tight but I have yet to break them in! Totally would buy again.
good product with ugly face on shoe tongue. not sure why adidas decided to put stan smith face on a tongue, but on white sneakers it's quite noticeable. I'd refrain to put any face on a tongue especially old guy with not such a good looks. I've been buying stan smith shoes for many years because of they comfort and simple look, not because I'm a big fan of that guy
I love this shoe. Absolutely love being out and about and having people tell me how cool may shoes look. Word of the wise tho; Waterproof them before wearing. You dont want stains to ruin your best shoes.
I have worn Stan Smiths for over 30 years. They are my only "go to shoe." Great quality all leather product. My last pair lasted 3 years and going strong. I have worn mine on musical tours all over the world. Keep up the good work!
Extremely squeaky. Like walking around in clown shoes. Annoyed all my co-workers. I like the look of these shoes, but the squeakiness is ridiculous. The squeak comes from the tongue rubbing against the interior of the shoe. My solution was to use sandpaper to roughen up the tongue of the shoes. This dampened squeakiness to almost regular sneaker levels It's kind of unacceptable of Adidas to ship out these shoes with such a blaring design flaw. They need to change the material used in these shoes, to something less squeaky.
First off go half a size down (like most adidas shoes as of late). Traction- PHENOMENAL Cushion- Boost is great but a little firm. Minimal in the forefoot. Materials- Excellent. Fit- It is OK if you get the laces tied tight. CMON ADIDAS, get the fit right and you will completely take over!!!! Favorite basketball shoe I have ever played in nonetheless!
The cushioning are A1, looks great. Overall i'm pretty satisfy with the shoes. But, i suggest to go full size down, i went half size down the first time, and they were still long, so i went down a full size, it will get a better lock down.
Adidas has been making weightlifting shoes for a very long time now and that's why I chose to get them. I have to say the fit is great, the materials are great, and the added stability is much better than I was expecting. I highly recommend these shoes, the reviews are all stellar because you're really getting a great product.
Just purchased these, and a matching pair for my wife. Such a well made and looking shoe. The quality difference from these to other sneaker type shoes is unmatched- real leather, feels rugged. These look and feel like a designer shoe. These are my first Adidas and they have that German perfect design look. I love change and seeing Adidas try new things (Kanye west) but these really are an example of something that was and still is being done extraordinarily well. The shape and size of these are just beautiful, they look a little narrow but yet don't feel that way, it's just an excellent shoe visually. *They come a little larger than usual, so you might want to consider ordering a half size smaller than your usual size. *
I only knew one guy, when I was young who had a pair Of these shoe and I always wanted a pair now I do and I love them thinkin bout getting other colors I like them so much I recommend them to any and everybody......
These shoes are perfectly unisex and I would absolutely recommend the black Samoas for the maximum authority in look that you can ever get in a shoe. The diagonal crosshatch detailing on the rubber lining around the sole is my favorite part.
I've worn these shoes twice, for about an hour at a time. The second time I put them on, I noticed that one of the stripes was already peeling off. I've owned dozens of Adidas over the past few decades, and this hasn't happened before. Overall, the shoes look great. Because of the unique weave, I wouldn't suggest them for working out in--the weave gives a lot, and if you were to run, your feet would slide around in them too much. I'd also be careful of tightening the laces too much--it looks like the lace holes would eventually stretch, or worse, rip. But for now, they're cool looking shoes. Just wish the glue on the stripes was better. Because of the cost and that flaw, I wouldn't recommend these shoes.
I never have played soccer, nor will I probably, but these shoes are very comfortable as they are light and fit very well to the foot. they also can take a serious beating be it running, hiking, getting dunked in water, tennis, and just about anything else you care to test them at. My last pair was about 2 years old, and the main reason I got new ones was because I had finally managed to wear down the back of the sole to the point at which the while base under it was showing. Support wise these shoes are pretty decent, however, I would imagine older people or simply those with flat feet might want to look into custom inserts, as these are certianly not running shoes. over the last 6 years I have owned about 5 pairs of these shoes, first the classic ones and the last two have been the millennium ones. All of them held up far longer than most shoes. the leather might look bad after a year and a half of rough use, but the shoes remain solid and I find after about a year or so they really start to mould to ones feet and get even more comfortable. I think another great aspect is the fact that these shoes are not flashy, yet they do not look like plain black shoes. on a side tangent, I wish this box to write reviews in were larger, all this scrolling is a pain. *ignore the what is my soccer level thing, as mentioned I do not play soccer.
Excellent shoe design. A little more substantial than the Classic design. Appearance is over done with too many logos, ice., the toe logo and the gold color addition give it a tacky look. Give it the Classic motif.... it looks more professional.
omg i found those on a market and i tested those... they were P-E-R-F-E-C-T. Size is exactly what you ask for.... width is enough and they are so comfortable! quality is very good too for their cost. you MUST buy those shoes. Nice Product Adidas <3 Love from greece
I love them but you should ask for a smaller size, i usually use 38 so i read many reviews i was not sure so i bought 37.5 they are a little bit bigger i dowload the size chart based on the cms of my feet 25cms i should ask for a 38... so, i recommend to buy one smaller, i think 37 shoul fit perfectly, anyway i will use socks for a better fit, besides that they are what i expect, really nice!
Overall I really like the shoe. It offers better ankle support than a low shoe. It's not the best ankle support I've ever had from an athletic shoe, but it's enough that I feel safe from rolling an ankle. The shoes offer the best cushioning of any volleyball shoe I've ever worn including Mizunos. As for appearance the shoe has a clean classic look.
I bought these in my true size (6.5 mens) and they were very tight for a while until I broke them in and i think the leather stretched a little. It was very painful for my big toes, I'll be honest. I will probably buy another pair in a 7. These have a classic, minimalist silhouette that goes with virtually everything. Everyone should have a pair of these and they are very on-trend.
