Micoach Fit Smart Random Reset
April 26 2016

I have had my FitSmart for a couple years. I only recently started wearing it all the time. I decided to start tracking my activity. It will just reset it's time to 12:00, losing all my data. I can just be sitting there, walking, doesn't matter. If it decides, my info is gona and I have to sync again to get it to the correct time. Super frustrating when you're trying to track progress. Would recommend this to everyone if it didn't have this issue. Would like to know why this keeps happening and if it is happening to others. If I can't get it to correct, I'll have to switch brands. ... read more

Micoach Fit Smart Great Watch That Does Everything
April 22 2016

Overall perfect sports essential watch. Tells the time, then with one button shows you your Steps, Distance, Calories burned and more. Calories burned calculates the active calories and passive calories as well, so there's no more guessing. Tracking a Gym workout or Run on the street/treadmill is super easy to do, it's accurate, and super user friendly with the miCoach Train & Run app, and it syncs quickly through bluetooth. The app also offers free training and running programs based on your goals, and has an in-ear coach that you can listen to. The Heart Rate monitor is perfect for training, and there is also a progress bar on the side of the display that shows you how close you are to hitting your goal. NOTE: The picture makes the watch look like a hard plastic type of material, however it is really silicone. Very soft against your skin. ... read more

Micoach Fit Smart Fit Smart not smart enough for weight training
March 24 2016

The quality and style of the product is great. I would really rate the product if I wanted it purely for monitoring HR whilst running, but I bought it for HR monitoring whilst performing strength training. I wanted it for the visual HR zone cues which I think is a fantastic feature. Unfortunately it gave wildly inaccurate readings whilst lifting weights, rendering it unusable for my needs - 55 bpm v 154 bpm from the chest band that I was comparing it with. I have returned the item and I am currently awaiting a refund. If they could sort out the the inaccuracies of the device whilst weight training then I would highly recommend the product and would definitely re-purchase. For now it is back to wearing the chest band! ... read more

Micoach Fit Smart nice
March 15 2016

I recently bought this product and it looks really good and is very comfortable. I am still discovering all the functions and things it can do after syncing it to the app. The only thing I am stuck on is I cant seem to work out how to get it to reset the features to 0 every morning? e.g. calories, distance etc. I know a lot of other apps do this automatically but at the moment mine is just adding up everyday. Can anyone help? ... read more

Micoach Fit Smart works if you're in a wheelchair but not sure how well.
February 23 2016

I bought a FitSmart watch with the intention of working out but shortly after ended up in a wheelchair due to a bad fall. I was wondering if the FitSmart would work the same if someone was confined to a wheelchair. So far Ive had the watch for a year and it hasn't shown any signs of deterioration. I like the display features and how it is low profile. It would be nice if there was mode for people who are in wheelchairs or even some sort of step converter to help. ... read more

Micoach Fit Smart Great partner to MiAdidas app
February 10 2016

I have used the miadidas app for a while and with the fit smart, my fitness has improved. I like that I can use the watch with or without the phone. I can at a glance see my heart rate with the colours on the side, and pace, stride etc. I can start and stop my runs and exercise with the watch by itself. I can set up a training plan on the app and use it with the watch. It also has a daily step counter. gives accurate daily calorie expenditure. so much more, you just have to use to find out. Well worth the $$ imho. My favorite fitness toy! ... read more

But when you start using micoach, it's the worse. I don't understand how such a reputable company make such a bad coaching program. If you curious what I'm talking about. Nearly sent the product back as it was complicated to set up. However I stuck with it and it now seems easy to use. I recently updated the app on my phone and now I can't turn the watch off!!! I've tried pressing the central button down, holding it down, I've tried pressing all the other buttons but nothing works. Now I have to remember to keep the watch charged up at al times. Micoach Fit Smart Does the job!
December 31 2015

I bought this to measure heart rate after a long lay off due to illness (to make sure I didn't overdo it!)I found chest strap models uncomfy so this seemed ideal. Overall measures heart as accurately as any chest or other device. Occassional drop out when rate hitting higher beats but settles down again if wrist held stationary for a few secs. Comfortable enough to wear all the time but I use it just for workouts. Now getting to grips with the app to maximise other functions. ... read more

Micoach Fit Smart What happens if you don't have a Smart phone etc!
September 23 2015

When I purchased this for my Father no one at shop told me that my elderly Father had to have every gadget under the sun to be able to sing watch to enable to use the thing. He only has a pretty modern PC and that's it! Come on Adidas where does it say on your marketing ( on the box) ghat you MUST have other expensive technology to get this watch past the Bluetooth symbol on the watch face. Very very cruel indeed as my elder father who's just got motivated to get some walking in to get fit due to a health scare has only had the pleasure of charging the gimmick up! Great disappointment and the shop selling it didn't have a clue either. Adidas you have scored $300 of my money so now I face in spending an additional $1100 on the latest smart phone! Good grief! Remember there are a wide ranged of customers out there and not all are into all sorts of gizmos that eventually we will need to push a shopping trolley around while out tunning or walking just so gadgets can communicate with each other! Not impressed with the non exhistant words on box that this product won't work if you don't already have an iPhone , iPad, smartphone ect etc etc etc. very disgruntled daughter indeed. ... read more

Micoach Fit Smart Best Training Device I've Ever Had
September 12 2015

I am a total geek about training devices, programs and data and have had far more than my share of devices after competitive bike racing for several year. I have had the FitSmart for just over 1 year and have used it 5 - 6 times per week every week. Product Quality: Battery life is the same as the day I got, which is more than I can say for my phone. The heart rate monitor is just as accurate as chest strap monitors. Band is very comfortable and durable. Design:Well thought out an complete. The watch communicates with you via colored lights and vibrations to let you know what training zone you are in, if it's the right zone for the workout and gives you 5 seconds notice before a training zone change. You can workout with or without your phone and easily synch the workout afterward. Watch paired w phone allows you to track speed and distance by GPS and stride sensor, heart rate, calories burned, fastest mile and elevation. Micoach Awesomeness: The micoach website and app interface brings it all together. On the site, you can design your own training program, ranging from running races, to sport specific, to general fitness. The programs integrate strength, endurance and flexibility. The programs are periodized to gradually build up your capacity and taper your efforts to prevent overtraining. The running workouts have great variety, from steady state endurance building to intervals to build speed and strength. Adidas teaches you to train the right way! During strength training workouts, the micoach app includes an animated video to show you how to properly perform an exercise right on the screen of your phone. You can track your weight, reps, even the shoes you wore. Their program has it all, if you get geeked out like I do, you can deep dive into the data, or if you want easy guidance and feedback, they make it quick and simple. Seriously, the best overall product out there! ... read more

Micoach Fit Smart At last
May 07 2015

I bought the fit smart because I wanted a wrist heart rate monitor at a reasonable price. I don't need GPS etc because I already have that on my phone. This watch does exactly what I need it to do, monitor my heart rate (accurately) and tell me when I am in/out of zone by buzzing but not too often to become annoying. So far battery life seems good and it is easy to charge. The wrist strap is very comfortable but I'm not sure how durable it is going to be. The small is a good fit and I do have small wrists definitely buy large if you are male. ... read more

Micoach Fit Smart Great to have it on Windows Phone
March 01 2015

I was always keen on the Fit Smart and it has now become compatible with Windows Phone. I received my Fit Smart a couple of days ago and have used it twice now for a run and for a gym session along with wearing it as a standby watch. First of all, the fit is really nice, i went with the black colour which i do notice shows up dust but that's not important. The battery life is as good as they say with a half charge lasting four days with two hours of training. I've only used the training in 'Free' mode and it's been great to see my heart rate in the gym. Previously i've used the micoach app on my phone along with the HR strap around my chest. Wearing just the watch is a lot easier. During the run it was great to see my distance and it vibrated each 1km to give me a split update which was very handy. ... read more

Micoach Fit Smart Excellent purchase well worth the money
January 13 2015

Simple to use and works flawlessly. The heart rate monitor works brilliantly and the coloured zones make it easy to keep track of how hard your working at any time during my workouts, and has attracted a lot of attention in the gym and when out running. Using this in free workout mode is simple and straight forward and doesn't require me to carry and mess around with my mobile phone whilst training which is a bonus. Going over the stats after syncing helps me keep track of where I can improve, especially when out running. Not having GPS could be a seen as a hindrance, however if you upload your route and manually input your own 'laps' helps you accurately track you pace per KM to help you improve. Also if your working out on a stationery treadmill, rower or cross trainer in doors it wont log how far you went but this info can be updated and added manually after you've completed your work out Haven't tried any of the countless workouts you can download but the ones I've looked at are in depth and look like they would be very effective. Awesome piece of kit and looks good too would fully recommend ... read more

Micoach Fit Smart Simple and Effective
October 29 2014

I have been using the FIT Smart for several weeks now and it has exceeded my expectations. After playing with the watch for about 15 minutes I was able to get a good handle on the interface, which is very simple. It has three buttons, a multi-purpose "select/home" button and two scrolling buttons. What I really like about the watch is that it doesn't have excess features that you won't want to use. It has several useful modes (assessment, free workout, planned workout) and that's it. Simple. Syncing with your MiCoach app is done via bluetooth. The watch actually looks pretty good too. I have a black watch and wear it most places. The watch is almost entirely covered in rubber and is easy to keep clean. From the coach perspective, I have used these watches with my athletes to prescribe them workouts during their off days or when rehabbing injuries. You have to create a MiCoach profile for them, but after you do that, it is easy to have them do the assessment workout and then assign them conditioning based on their HR zones. Just an FYI it seems to work better to run the assessment test outside as opposed to on a treadmill. Regardless, you may want to run the assessment several times before using the HR zones. This will allow you to get the most out of the test. ... read more

Micoach Fit Smart Awesome new toy!
October 22 2014

I am a recreational jogger and the miCoach FIT SMART training watch for my needs perfectly. While I was on the run the watch displayed my heart rate, distance travelled, total time, and was even able to notify me of my 1km split times. I have used a different heart rate monitor in the past to track my training, but it only gave me a partial view of the run and I had to use a separate app to monitor my distance, splits, and to track my progress in my training regimen. When I got home the watch paired seamlessly to the miCoach app clearly showing me all the data collected by the FIT SMART. I was not only able to see the raw data, but the app charted out my pace, stride rate, and heart rate vs. time so I could easily see where improvements could be made. It even was able to extrapolate and find predicted my 5k, 10k, half, and full marathon times. Just makes me look forward to running! ... read more
