I like the looks of these sneakers (Ultra Boost ST). But that's it. I to a couple people here and a friend that for Adidas. They all thought that these would work for me. I work all nite on a concrete floor and my feet hurt bad. And my knees to. I'm a big person. So I bought these for only work. tried them last nite. I made it for about 3 1/2 hours and to go back to my old sneakers. The Ultra Boost ST's end up not really helping. No arch support. I am very disappointed. For what they cost and the way I was told I expected more from them.
I am a regular 9.5 and ordered a size 11 based on past experience with a similar product. I think 11.5 would start to slip in the heal. Excellent shoe. Comfortable. Originally ordered the LG, but found it too overbuilt and reinforced in the mid sole area. These are light which adds to their sense of ease and speed.
Love this product, just not the shoe laces! They come untied even in a double knot. I have bought and given them to customers. I have received the same response. Laces are horrible. Love everything else about shoe
I am so happy with these shoes! I have always had issues with shin splints and knee pain and have tried all of the major brands but found nothing that helped. These shoes are perfect for really any sort of running I have done with them (even trail running surprisingly enough). They are a little smaller than some brands but I ordered one size up and they fit perfectly! I threw in some Superfeet insoles for extra support and these shoes have officially become the most comfortable runners I've ever owned! Looking forward to putting lots of miles on these!
Have put almost 200 miles on a pair that I purchase in early June. Initially, believed that the boost was too much feeling spongy. After a week, I went back to my usual brand. The difference was significant, and for me the turning point. The ST is now my shoe of choice.
I honestly couldn't be happier with this purchase I am a absolutely in love with this shoe. This shoe is extremely comfortable and very stylish. If you are thinking about buying any shoe from Adidas.com remember all Adidas shoes are nicer in person. I am so exited to wear these out for a run and even to wear casually thank you so much Adidas for your stylish shoes keep up the great work! I will always be a fan of Adidas. #TEAMADIDAS!
I am not the $180 shoe buyer but I was told that the Ultra Boost was a must have. After buying this pair and wearing them for 3 weeks now they are the most comfortable shoes I have ever worn. You do not have to be a marathon runner to appreciate these shoes. Based on looks and comfort they are worth spending the extra money.
Like it for: 1) Robust built, you would feel the strength of the shoe -not something that will wear away in months 2) Design 3)Super arch support for stability, especially for flat feet. Dislike for: I wear size 10, but 10 was loose fit so 9.5 was a better fit. Still, the big toe touches the top of the shoe often during running/walking. On the other hand, at the rear its not a great fit, somewhat loosens/slips during lift off of the feet from ground.Probably the reason is, it is build more for stability than flexibility and that has lead to a more rigid built which does not fit to the changing foot shape during running/walking.
I run around 25 miles a week typically on the road but sometimes on a treadmill. They have lasted me over 500 miles and still feel brand new. There was a short period of time where I would have serious ankle pain on the outside of my right ankle when I put them on. After resting for a week though the pain went away and never came back. For me they fit perfectly from day one. Had no problem once they were broken in with blisters, and were the first pair of shoes I have ever worn that I didn't have knee pain after a run.
There is pressure from the eyestay which causes friction on the tongue. This is a picture taken after 5 months of wear. The pressure has been so great that it has worn a hole right through the material of both shoes.
I HAVE TRIED MANY HIGH END RUNNING SHOES. THESE ULTRA BOOST STs ARE THE MOST COMFORTABLE, BAR NONE. THE EXPENSIVE SHOES PROVIDE ULTIMATE CUSHIONING. THAT IS WHAT YOU ARE PAYING FOR. WITH ULTRA BOOST ST PROVIDES THE ADDED BONUSES OF COMFORT AND STYLE, THIS PAIR IS NOW MY PREFERRED FAVORITE. IT IS HARD TO FATHOM THE NEGATIVE REVIEWS.
Brings back a lot of energy while running. The shoe is absolutely comfortabe. It is phantastic to run with it compared with my 5 years old Adidas trail run shoes. I will never change it. Adidas - you did a perfect job!
Tried these on at the end of the Chicago junior volleyball qualifier and liked them. Adidas rep was helpful and knowledgable and took the time with me at the end of a long weekend so I took a chance ordering them. At first I thought they may be a little less comfortable but once I started running in them, they were great. My feet felt fresh throughout my run and they provide a true ride.
One of the worst pair of running shoes I've ever tried. It felt as if I were running in dress shoes. I ran eight miles and every step was an ordeal; I don't know why I didn't just give-up. Previously, I really liked the Adistar Boost shoe, but it's been discontinued. Why? I'm extremely disappointed.
so basically I bought these shoes along with a few pairs of the regular ultraboosts, I am impressed with the overall fit and comfort that both pairs have to offer. However I was expecting the new and improved continental outsole to be much more durable than it has proved to be. Unfortunately after only about 15-25 miles of dog-walking in my pair of Ultraboost ST the continental rubber in the forefoot is already worn completely flat. I am of average height and weight and have never owned another pair of shoes that gotten so worn down after only wearing them 4 different times to walk the dog. come on adidas i expected more from you..
As in aficionado of casual yet stylish shoes, the ultra boosts are simply the most comfortable and stylish high-end footwear available on market today. I own countless pairs of Jordans Kobe's etc. but nothing compares to the feeling I get from putting on these kicks to do whatever- workout, hang out, or travel. my true hope is that Adidas will expand and work with more influencers in luxury and lifestyle to incorporate this technology into business type footwear for the office.
Retailers give me a lot of shoes to test out so I've always had free shoes to run with and I choose to save my money. However, we just received the new Ultra Boost ST and I immediately spent my own money with it. Im extremely satisfied with the fit. I pronate quite a bit and the regular ultra boost never quite felt right. But this shoe blew my mind. It comes with a higher price tag than most, but I can tell you its worth it. I highly recommend running with it. I'm also thinking about buying another as a lifestyle shoe.
I own a pair of the original Ultra Boosts and they feel great. The Ultra Boost ST takes it a step further! Straight out of the box they are comfy. They feel great in the toe box area and the continental rubber soles are a definite improvement from the first generation Ultra boost. The Ultra boost ST would give the original Adistar boosts a run for their money for stability and comfort. I'm wearing the adistar boosts for this year's LA marathon, but I'm going to give these a 15 mile test run to see how they hold up, but for my 5 mile small runs, they're perfect! If you're a adistar boost fan, these are up your alley. They are great for casual walking and lifestyle as well. I'm proud to say that the Ultra boost ST are the most comfortable shoes I've ever worn. I have the Boost glides, Sequence Boosts, Adistar Boosts, Energy Boosts, and the first Ultra Boost, so no hyperbole here. All the different models have their own functional applications, and I love them all, but if you what a stability shoe with an absolute comfortable ride, these are near perfect!
