micoach is all you need to get the results you want.
i recommend going a full size down for a tight feel. the laces are really long but i got shorter ones no big deal. you get a great touch on the ball and can rip shots. after broken in their really comfortable. they seem to be a little heavy on your feet at first but thats because of the great quality leather. you get used to the weight though and don't mind after a while. overall great boot. i will never buy a different cleat.
Too bad there are not six stars on the rating. These cannot be beat. It's the only pair my son wears. He is a kicker in football and these last for two seasons easy. He has a wider foot than most and these fit perfect. There is a reason they have continued to be manufactured for 30-40 years.
I was looking for something classic and different, and I found it. The shoe does run big, so do as adidas recommend. After a couple plays the shoe widen. I had to go a size down just because it will widen and I have narrow feet.
This is truly worth the money because you are getting the most comfortable soccer cleats ever built in history. It is still made in Germany so quality is guaranteed. The cleats has an archaic sizing scale so you should go down 1 full US size to get the right fitting length. This is one of few soccer cleats that you don't need to worry about the width once you got the length right. The high quality kangaroo leather will stretch to fit your foot. They are a bit heavy based on modern day standard mainly because it is made in 100% kangaroo leather. Its durability edges most of the cleats in the market.
These cleats are amazing! They are super comfortable and great for striking, receiving, and dribbling the ball, even at a low(er) price. However, this pair of boots certainly isn't the most durable. If you are going to be playing constantly on turf, they lip may begin to separate from the upper (That's what happened to me). Overall, the Gloro 16.1s are amazing leather boots and I reccomend them to anyone debating whether or not to give them a go.
Waaay bigger than I expected. I need to send them back or resell them. I'm busy and so I didn't have time to try them on before game day (once a week), so they have slight wear visible and I don't think I can even return. Sad.
I'm just now retiring these boots after a year of playing Rugby. The boots are fantastic, comfortable right out the box, the leather is so soft and molds to your foot perfectly! I have had more expensive boots before but nothing has held up quite like these.
The shoe has a high quality K-Leather, and it is very confortable. In my case, the problem is that I am a proner, and the stability of those cleats could be improved. I keep spraining my ankle (probably because of the position of the spikes on the sole, as my other cleats from other brand are perfectly stable). The field where I play is not perfectly straight, and, sometimes, my ankle pays the price for it. As I said before, the position of the spikes could be changed since that would provide a better stability.
I picked up a pair of Gloros on a whim. Once I tried them on I knew I had to buy them. They had the comfort and familiarity of the 11pro but with a more substantial k-leather upper which was buttery soft. I was amazed at the quality of the k-leather on a shoe of this price. I have a pair of Nike Tiempo Legend 6 boots and I honestly prefer wearing the Gloros more. I find them more comfortable with an amazing touch on the ball. I am a size 10 but I did go down a size. Not because they felt loose at my normal size but I took into account the upper stretching a bit due to the k-leather. I was glad I did as the shoes fit and feel perfect. The Gloro is my favorite that I own and i own a lot of soccer boots.
I've read reviews saying to get this shoe a size smaller only after having already purchasing them a half size smaller. The shoes arrived and when I tried them on and tightened up the laces they fit like a glove, perfect fit! Waiting to play in them but the comfort of the leather already is worth the buy!
These are the greatest soccer shoes ever. They have lasted the test of time and perform extremely well in any condition. I played year round and would get a new pair each year, but not because they would break down quickly, just simply bc I wore them for practice 5x a week and games for 9 months of the year. I do not understand why they are so expensive these days? Growing up (1994-2004), they were $89 all day, everyday. What gives?!
I bought the shoes and used them for about a week so far. The fit and quality of the shoe is excellent. I paid extra for the personalization and less than a week in, some of the lettering has already come off. Disappointing because it was really cool to start with. I would but the shoes again just not the added personalization.
These boots feel great when you put them on. Definitely best feeling pair of boots I've owned, nice touch on the ball, light, stable. The boot seems to fall apart quicker than the average boot though with the upper coming off the base without too much wear.
I rated these cleats a 5 star because of the overall superior comfort, support. The feel and touch on the ball is Glooorious. The K leather is up to par and the synthetic heal is a non-issue. I have a slightly wide foot for a size 9 so I ordered a 9.5 since I wear 2 sets of socks. Cons: The laces are good and strong but a bit short. I can only make a small tie and they came loose a few times. The insole is good but I can feel the studs underneath just a bit. No pressure points though. Seems like these cleats will last a while with some basic care.
Amazing boot. After harsh play over a weekly basis, the Gloros were ruined within 4 months. Would love to see a bit better durability. Other than that it's an amazing boot. I really wished they would bring Red and all the other colours to Canada, not just only the White, and Black boots.
After purchasing the adidas Copa Mundial, I was skeptical of the sizing- whether to go a half or whole size down. I went a half size down, however a whole size is recommended for the BEST possible fit. These boots will fit anybody- wide or narrow footed, big or small. The leather on the boot is soft and comfortable. The break in period of the Copa Mundials is minimal. Overall, these are great boots and would recommend them to any and everybody. They look and feel great, are comfortable, and very durable.
I got these cleats and out of the box they were perfect. I felt I could hit shots I couldn't before and I felt like a brand new player wearing these. They were extremely comfortable and exceeding my expectations. Two months after getting these cleats this drastically changed. Adidas advertises these cleats as to say they are the most durable cleats and there is a reputation that comes along with them saying this. After playing around 10 Rec league games and practicing on my own almost twice every week, the boots began to change. The bottom portion containing the studs started separating from the leather part of the cleat causing the gap. These cleats are the quickest that have ever broken on me and I have had cheaper quality cleats last longer than these. Good cleat but quality is lacking and doesn't match up to the hype that comes with these cleats.
Decent shoe. The feel is good, however the back part of the cleat , looks cheap. Maybe just because of the synthetic material used there...I don't know. However, used to the Adipure IV , Gloro feels a lil' wide at the toe area. That doesn't work for me. The only improvement in my case was the outsole. P.S. I also had a bad luck to receive an irregular left shoe :(
i was very excited when i first got my copas. after only a few months of use, the lining and foam in the inside ripped. now the bare leather is touching my toe and will rip any time soon. they are comfortable, though.
I purchased 2 pairs of these shoes in the past year for my daughter, and both pairs she wore holes in the insoles. The outer shoes are still in great condition, but no other insole that I purchase feel comfortable enough for her to play in, they are to big and hurt her feet. She is on a premier team that plays National, Regional and State leagues. I wish I could get some new insoles specifcally from Adidas for these shoes.
When Adidas released these a while back, it was the moment I had been waiting for. A modern take on the Copa. I bought them and was immediately satisfied at the quality of the boots, they are of the same quality of boots with hefty $200+ price tag. After using them the past 3 month I have to say the are the most comfortable boots I have ever set my feet into. The kangaroo leather on the toe box is very supple and provides a glove like fit, while the synthetic mid foot and heel provide much better support and stability than an all leather shoe. The outsole is also much better than the Copa, much more sturdy. The tongue also is a great feature that I really like. Overall, sublime job from Adidas, they have created a boot that is all I ever need or want, and that's the end of it. Brilliance.
I have been waiting forever for a modern Copa version. The sole plate on the copa would tent to make me roll my ankles. This sole plate is much more stable, lighter and flexible. The K-leather is enough and not needed on the other part of the boot. The fit is great, close to the copa and there is no substitute one gets from how the ball feels with K-leather. They are crazy comfortable and feel like gloves on you feet like the copa's. I wear a street shoe size 9 US, I wear 8 in copa's The perfect fit wearing the Gloro's is an 8.5 for me. My soccer buddies think I am a bit odd for talking so much about them. Adidas please make an AG version for this model as well.
I used to wear the predator F50 and my size was 11, but for the Copa, I had to go down a full size to make sure those cleats really fit me... I really enjoy those cleats because of their great comfort, they are probably the most comfortable cleats i have ever own, great touch, great cleats!!! The only thing is that the laces are way too long, I had to tight it over ,button and up of my cleat to make sure they don't come out... Other than that, those are great cleat, and there is really a reason why they are still popular and have been made the same since then
I used to shy away from Adidas shoes simply because they didn't fit; but when I saw the Gloro shoe I knew it was different. I went to a local soccer store to try them on and I was in love. I went on line to order them and I saw that I got a free custimization! Thanks Adidas I love these shoes and I'm definitely going to try on more Adidas shoes.
With everybody ranting and raving about these boots, I had to try them out for myself. I had pretty high expectations and was pleased with the comfort and performance out of the box. The leather was nice and soft, but these shoes are nowhere near as sturdy as all the adidas fanboys would like you to believe. I got a huge tear (over 2 inches) between the leather and the sole after a couple months of very moderate use. And the tear was not a result of a hard tackle or anything, I just cut to the side and next thing I knew my right boot was ripped right open. Quite disappointing as I enjoyed the comfort and feel while they lasted.
