It was raining and we stopped at a local adidas store and simply asked for a trainer that would get us through the day. This was recommended and it truly did the trick. comfortable, dry, warm and facilitated walkabout.
These are one of the best shoes, I have worn. Very good for a narrow foot. High ankle support, they give better support than most tennis shoes. This is my third pair, and I plan to continue buying them.
This is excellent product for long standings, lot of my coleagues have it, very durable. Only problem i experience was that it is narrow. Excellent customer service upon free return money back deposited immediatelly
As a prison officer these are by far the best boots I have ever worn. They are very comfortable and have fantastic grip with good ankle support. Had mine for over 12 months now and are worn most days and apart from a little wear and tear on the soles they are still in great order
I liked the shoes, they are pretty narrow but that wasn't a problem because my feet are thin. Overall the color is nice and looks like the picture, the inserts in the shoe feel good, but if you have flat feet you might have to put an arch support insert in.
Working for USBP you spend a lot of time tracking across various terrain or standing for long periods. The old 9.2's lasted a couple of years. These ones had one of t shoestring eyelets rip out in 2 weeks.....
Bottom Up, the soles are made for outdoors. I use them in an indoor facility that at times will have wet surfaces on epoxy floors. So it can slippery. Break-in point can differ per user. I like my boots to be snug so after a week of use moderate to heavy use. I think they have been full broken-in. The second week and onward, i havent noticed any changes after that. Even during break-in kneeling and having the ball of my foot planted, i didnt have any discomfort of pinching anywhere. Comfortable and I can wear them for 12+ hours even on a hot day. To make them even more comfortable I would suggest replacing the insole if you want.
These should have been excellent. There is one design feature that made them impossible for me to use: the lacing area is off center, toward the inside of the foot. In the case of my one weird foot this put laces directly on a nerve on my ankle bone, in 2 places. Excruciatingly painful. If the lacing area was moved toward the outside, or padding added, it might fix it. On the normal foot the size was perfect: the boots run narrow, but so's my foot. If the one problem wasn't there they would have been a dream pair of boots.
Great boot. I normally wear a 10.5 and these felt a tad bit too small, so definitely try them on first! I ordered mine online.... But still they feel great. Comfortable and great traction. I did cut the "excess" lace on the speed laces, which I regret now. I don't know where to get a replacement speed lace set! But amazing boots!
This shoe was completely awesome to run in along with working out in the gym. It stayed comfortable all day every day for as long as I had it. I recommend this shoe to everyone who is active most of the day.
I recommend the shoes as I wear them hiking on rugged trails that vary in dey to muddy conditions. They are very comfortable and have kept my feet dry in wet conditions. The only complaint is the lace broke when pulling to tighten the shoes. Where can I find these laces?
This is a great shoe at a great price. They are made of good materials that hold up well and don't show a lot of wear. I typically wear a 12, and the 12 in this shoe is a tad bit short. Also, they are narrow, but I LOVE that. I have a slightly below average width, and these shoes fit great. Thinking of buying a 2nd pair!
Adidas trainers fit me perfectly but these boots are a narrow fit. My foot felt claustrophobic in them. Shame as they are good quality and if wider they would have been perfect but I had to return them.
I wear boots every day for work and these are the most comfortable so far! Usually I wear magnums but they're so heavy and bulky. These are just as protective but much more comfortable and lighter to wear. Brilliant purchase! I did buy half a size bigger and glad I did as there's just a bit more breathing space!
I have always worn a size 14 in adidas and every other shoe company and these shoes run way to small. I tired purchasing 3 different pairs thinking that it was just the first pair that was a faulty shoe, but then when I received the other two pairs they were crushing my feet. I would have to buy 1 size larger to make them fit.
I am a serving police officer and have been in the job for close to 2 years now and have been out looking for the best boots for the job as I have a sensitive foot and was looking for a boot that would take care of my foot as previously owned boots have left my foot with painful corns. However I Read the Lone survivor novel and watched the movie with Mark Wahlberg where the Adidas GSG9 was used I decided to try it out and the GSG9.7 was my selection because it's not partened as my force policy. I have now been using the boot for since I bought them and they are the best things that ever happened to my foot, they are all I ever wanted in a patrol boots . They are very comfy, light, water resistant and breathable.
These boots are very light, so you don't feel bogged down by them. They also offer a lot of grip and are very sturdy, so there is no compromise between weight and protection. I have been wearing them for the past weeks and have had no issues. Make sure you buy a half size bigger than you need, and they will be perfect. The only criticism is that they are quite hard to get on, so they could use a loop at the top of the boot to help pull them on.
Absolutely perfect. Great fit with the half sizes available. True fit. By far the most comfortable I have worn. I am used to magnums and have always had to go through weeks of breaking them in, but these were soft and comfortable right away. Feels like wearing a pair of trainers to work. No complaints
Comfortable boots great quality was suffering with a bad arch on my right foot. Until I was in these boots on my feet all day up and down stairs with heavy loads. Can't complain I'm not in agony thanks Addidas.
This shoes is unbelievable, I am Adidas user since I was 8 years old I am 39 years old Now, this shoes is so much comfortable, warm, I wear it 9 to 10 hours a day it feels so good. Bought this shoes 2015 and it's still same shape for a year now.
The length of these shoes are fine, but the speed trainer 2.0 runs tight at the toe. I order a 9.5 and I had to return to get a 10. I know it sounds weird but it's true. The size 10 has more toe space than the usual performance sneaker but it's overall acceptable. Thx adidas keynote: In most running sneakers I am a 9.5.
These boots are absolutely brilliant and really grippy even when exposed to diesel spills. The one and only gripe I have with these boots is that the addition of a finger loop at the heel to pull them on would be absolutely the clincher for me.
Initial reluctance to buy these shoes after reading the mixed reviews was replaced by being pleasantly surprised having bought a pair after being sent an on-line discount voucher, to which I used to purchase my pair. I work quayside with off-shore boats, sometimes working a 16-18 hour shift, so comfort and reliability is a must, and these shoes do not disappoint. In addition, I also have to drive trucks/vans during my shift and have found these shoes to be both unrestrictive and comfortable during driving. I would buy at least a 1/2 size bigger than your 'normal' shoes (something I tend to do with all adidas shoes purchased), other than that I can not find anything negative to say about my purchase.
Had a pair of predecessors to the GSG-9.2 and this time went for the shorter 9.7 because of the price difference. Had not recognised the differences in the two, just assumed the 9.7 was shorter. The leather uppers continue higher on the 9.2, which is textile on the 9.7 plus the toe design is different and better on the 9.2. Overall, next time I'd spend more money and get the 9.2. Though by that time adidas may have tweaked this popular design classic still further.
It seems to me that the right boot fits looser than the left boot. With this being said I had to tighten the right boot so tight that one of the eyes for the laces ripped within the first month of wearing the boots.
