Reflectivity works great, I saw a lot of people complaining about it, but honestly they must not own the shoe because it looks stunning in car headlights or in flash photography. Best shoe for night running I've found yet. Fits like a glove and is fairly priced as well.
Really love the Pioneer colorway. I tried it on at adidas store and instantly bought it. It looked great and felt great. Much better looking in person. The hot colorway of the NMDs were sold out too quick before I had chance and I liked wearing basketball shoes anyway
The shoes are extremely comfy and have good ankle support. The only problem is that you should never use these for outdoor playing, the sole is not very durable. It is just a shame that these could have been the jwall 3.
Really Good, if you have it, you can tell Harden put effort and time into designing into this shoe. Traction loses it in about 3-5 plays but a single wipe gets it back in the game. I'm pretty sure cushion is a good point in this shoe since it's a Low. Most Low don't have great cushion, but this one seems to do the job. Fit was so surprising to me. Fits well for wide footers. Narrower footers beware though, I went true to size. Lockdown is very good, these shoe won't fly in the air. Looks are fire. Feels heavy in the hand but I didn't mind it at all on my foot. Some notes on durability: This shoe so far doesn't have major problems, breaking in takes some days. If you hit the three stripes on the back of the shoe on something hard, it will scrap easy, so if you want it to look good and untouch, beware of that. Otherwise, I would say best Guard shoe to buy for 2016/2017. Hopefully Harden's next shoes will be just as good as the Harden 1.
Overall this is a great shoe - I would recommend it and it feels and looks like a premium shoe. Buy if you want a high quality shoe with great traction, good impact protection and support. Avoid if you want something minimal and light or hate having your toes bang against the forefoot. Here is my breakdown: Comfort - between the neoprine ankle collar, boost cushion and Primeknit they are quite comfortable. Traction - best I have tried! Works well on clean or dusty floors, minimal wiping need to keep the outsole sticky (I have the solid outsole shoe though - the translucent may attract some more dust). Fit - a bit narrow and long - if you have a wider foot the Primeknit is a better option but I would try in the store. Lockdown - heel lockdown is fine but I find my foot sliding forward in the shoe. Thus, I end up banging my toes on the front of the shoe at times and it would have been nice if the inner shoe had more padding there or if my foot was just locked in better in the mid and forefoot. In the defense of the shoe, I think any shoe with traction this good will probably cause your foot to shift inside the shoe. Support - A good deal of support around the heel plus a raised section of the outsole on the outer portion of the forefoot keeps your foot for tipping over or moving much laterally. Cushion - Fantastic in the heel area - great impact protection without being too soft. The boost thins out a lot in the forefoot and they use a hard stobel piece in between the boost in the insole so the forefoot cushion is pretty firm and responsive - I would have preferred the forefoot to be softer but it still has some compression to absorb impact. Looks - they look great, can wear them on and off the court no problem. Durability/Quality - I haven't had them for long so I can't say for sure but the build quality seems quite high (the outsole rubber does not seem meant for outdoor play though). There is also some coverage on top of the Primeknit on the outside of the medial toe to keep the material from ripping if you drag your toes. Other thoughts - the shoe is pretty heavy and you notice it on your foot so I would think some might find it bulky feeling.
Great versatile gym shoe. I bought these to replace mt Powerlift 2.0 shoes which were a bit narrow and so uncomfortable when doing anything explosive where your foot pushes into the front of the shoe. These have a wide front which makes them much more comfortable. I typically use these for weight training or plyometric style training and the thinner, less cushioned sole is ideal but I'm not sure how they'd fare on a treadmill, for example.
I bought these shoes for marathon training and I am now on my second pair. They are the perfect balance of comfort for longer runs, combined with speed. I also now need only one shoe for training and racing! Brilliant.
ACE Tango 17.1 are the best trainers I've ever had. But luckily for me I overestimated size of my order since they come very small. With 1 size up they fit perfectly. Not made to play football though, but like the name says, these are a perfect match for fitness training and running.
Best basketball shoe I've worn to date. I usually go for a shoe that supports the ankle as well as overall comfort . I got a size bigger than what I normally wear and it feels great. Not too big or too wide which was something I was afraid of getting a bigger size.
I bought these boots and the second day I wore them I got stepped on and the other person's cleats ripped a huge hole in the middle of them. A few weeks later I wore them again and a huge piece of the upper on the other boot ripped off also. I love the comfort and feel on the ball but for $300 I don't believe that these boots are the best they could be.
Similar to Nanos, flat foot and very wide toe box. They look amazing and appear to be very durable. The black / red ones are more of a red-orange color with a dark navy blue on the sole. The sole is not entirely all black.
I do recommend you this pair of shoes - Alphabounce. They fit me well, nice looking and very comfortable. I just only think that Ultra Boost ones will be hard to keep clean. However, these Alphabounce are much easier, trust me. They are worth more than the price 110$. If anyone used Converse at size 8 US (41,5 EUR) before, I would believe you order these alphabounce at size 9 (nearly 42,5 EUR) to ensure your pleasure when breakin' in, based on your foot's width. Hope u choose best ones if u order online.
I've been having lots of problems with basketball shoes lately (support, traction, comfort, style, etc) and these shoes FIX THEM ALL. Best shoe purchase ever. One caveat: half sizes stop at 11.5. I really, really want a 12.5, because the 12 is just too small, causing me some pain, and 13 is simply too big. Who agrees, 12.5 is needed?
Harden Vol. 1's are the best basketball shoes on the market. Perfect for guards, traction on point, cushioning like your walking on clouds, court feel perfect and looks absolute fire. Great purchase and the perfect basketball shoe to date.
I'm a die hard Nike fanatic, ever since I had started to use them I was hooked. Bought every kobe for the last couple of years . But I have noticed a serious decline in quality In the sneakers. I saw these a couple of months back and I love A Wigg so I picked them up as a novelty and as a get my feet wet experience with boost. It was the first time I played in an adidas shoe since the standard was using adiprene coushioning which I hated. May I say not only did this shoe beat all expectations and all of the good stuff I read on it but it made me a adidas costumer for life!!!!! Wow like what can I even say about this shoe that the add does not say . I have never had a more responsive , cushioned , form fitting , super comfortable shoe in my life! I will admit the aesthetics of the shoe are a bit....rustic but asides from the looks this bad boy is a hog . They were so great I bought my older father a pair; oh and he loves them too calls them the best shoe he's ever owned . This blows Nike out of the water and it absolutely crushed all the zoom units I once knew and loved , absolutely destroys any and all flyknit kicks and even tops my kobe 10; adidas, basketball shoes , you are doing it right. These are out of this world .
Previous models (pre-bounce) of Adizero Adios were my favorite running shoes for years (I still wear my old ones). I tried these, but they didn't feel as snug, comfortable and fast as the old ones. Something was off in where the arch sits too. Switched to Boston 6, which are great, if a little thicker in the sole. These, however, may suit others better, so I still reccommend.
These are just so very comfortable. My go-to running sneakers for several years was the Adizero Adios. I don't care for the new boost model of that shoe; something changed in the feel and support. Although these sit a little higher, they are my current fav; have 2 pair (and bought 2 more for family members). I'm not sure how the quality will play out. On my Adios, the mesh top eventually got holes, although it took a while. Will be curious to see how long the bounce sole has bounce.
Amazing cleats. I have wide feet but these cleats fit perfect true-to-size. They definitely need to be broken in a bit before they live up to their full potential, but I highly recommend. They are also cheaper than other current cleats which really helps. Light, good for all positions on the field, best cleats I've ever had.
Seeing how these are never seeing a court... they're just too pretty! Gorgeous and they feel amazing. As with all adidas ...half a size down and your A+. Design and concept is different and I love it.
Comfortable, Good to hoop in, supports bigger feet (In width), Overall the look and the feel are a lot better than what I was expecting. The only problem in my opinion is whatever is glued or sealed onto the shoes is clearly done so and some threads stick out from the stitching on the inside.
Credit to adidas for finding new ways to use boost and give people a different feel in their kicks. Harden vol. 1's are less mushy in the heel and with the boost only exposed on the lateral side near the ball of your foot, you get a really comfortable almost bouncy feel right under the ball of your foot. Upper is really nice but does need to be broken in, but it's well worth it as this is a fantastic low top trainer.
At 1st I told myself that I was just going to purchase 1 pair of Harden Vol.1's & I copped the "Imma Be a Star's". It was a tough choice picking between the 2 versions. Once I received them I was so impressed that I had to get the "Away" Colourway too (so much for getting 1 pair lol). There's absolutely nothing I would change about this shoe. Aesthetically it looks dope, fits like a glove & on the performance end it's all thumbs up! Traction is great, cushioning is great & my feet feel well contained. As I said before, the 3 stripe brand is killing it this year R.I.P. other brands!!
Been loving these for ball, something I haven't said about a pair of hoops kicks for years. For me they work great in my sneaker TTS which usually runs half a size larger than what I wear for dress shoes. My feet are semi-wide, so the extra toe box room for me is awesome compared to other shoes I've balled in where they traditionally run more narrow. The best thing I love about the shoe is how stable it is. It also has a great combination and balance of impact protection, and court feel. Usually you get too much of one or the other, so this really does the trick perfectly for me. My only complaint are about the laces. I think going with a flat lace setup would make these easier to lace up and tighten overall.
It's okay but to overrated got these a two day ago first time I wear them I dropped soap by mistake now I have a big white stain on the black toe area smh. 130 straight to the trash in less of a day. Very disappointed.
Yes the shoe is among the best, even at this price point. Great traction. Ankle support is there without being too restrictive. Full length boost with decent court feel. But I have a HUGE gripe: I cannot get proper lock down with the Xeno upper because the laces do not grip the material. I tighten the laces and shoe immediately goes loose when released to go to the next eyelets instead of staying tight. It's very frustrating because the shoe is already on the bulky side, as a result there's movement in the toe box and mid foot. Extremely disappointed in the purchase. If you plan on playing aggressively, skip the xeno and get the primeknit...or you'll need another set of hands to lace up.
