Currently in the process of getting these tubulars in every color. The shape is the future, matches with all my gear. Only thing is you have to get them one full size smaller. I'm normally a 9.5/10 but these I had to get in 8.5, so worth it. Don't sleep.
I bought my pair of Ultra Boost back in April and now have over 300 miles on them. The shoes have far exceed expectations. I have been running exclusively in adidas boost products for over two years now. When these were coming out for release I was a little bit skeptical mainly due to the price. I got to run a couple of test miles in a pair of ultras and quickly realized it was the real deal shoe. The upper knit is super comfortable and makes for a breathable design on any run. The extra boost material give a comfortable landing on every step. One thing with a boost product is that you can run in the shoe day after day without reduction in the performance of the midsole. The rubber flex sole is a draw back but after three hundred miles the sole has seen a reduction in the rubber knobs but the sole is still in tact. I am thinking that I can get to 800 miles on these shoes. Excited to see what new colors will be coming in 2016. Thanks adidas!!!
I am not an athletic person, I do try to keep fit. These are my first Boost series shoes and I am never going back to anything else. The fit is fantastic, the grip on the road perfect, the feedback you get on your sole is surprising.
I normally buy Size 9's from Adidas, which are sometimes a little big, so I bought an 8.5 and unfortunately they were a little bit too small. I suppose this is partly my fault, but I sometimes struggle with Adidas sizing because it's a little bit inconsistent. The shoes are flames tho and despite the fit they're still pretty comfortable. Only issue is close up you can see some of the shoddy glue work. Not noticeable at a distance and probably less noticeable on any colour but black - still not really an issue.
Really in love with the design and color scheme. These are really comfortable and have a certain mystique because it looks great for casual or for running purposes. I am starting to dig the boost technology. Hire me Adidas? Would love to work at adidas
I run two marathons per year, one in the spring and one in the fall each year. My shoe is the adios. That shoe was moved to boost technology. I purchased my first pair in early 2014, orange and silver, started experiencing slight knee discomfort after my first run, but I thought it was a running technique issue. I raced one marathon in those shoes. Purchased a second, same issue although not as bad. My current pair, purchased in Feb 2015, have caused even more knee discomfort. I wish there was an adios option without boost technology. Otherwise, I'm afraid I am going to move to another shoe maker. I would like to avoid because all my running apparel (running shorts, short and long-sleeve running shirts, socks, pants, jackets, gloves, beanies) are also adidas.
I like the fit of these shoes. I prefer my shoes to be very snug and these fit just right. I had to return 2 previous adidas cleats because they ran 1/2 size too large but these ones fit how I expect them too.
I own a pair of Primeknit 2.0s alongside these and the knit upper truly makes the difference in terms of keeping comfort while maintaining a feel for the ball and staying lightweight. The difference between these and the 2.0s is that while the 2.0s seemed closer to the adizero, these definitely seemed specifically designed for the central midfielder. The studs, fit, and texture all help in improving the touch on the ball and the "feel" behind passes or shots. Top level athlete impressed by another top flight boot by Adidas.
This is my first pair of high tops in ages, I must say I absolutely love them. Great neutral colour which can be worn with anything and they feel like you're wearing slippers, they are that comfortable.
well first I would like to thank adidas for what they made just to please their customers, when i tried it that feeling was great, its give me speed control and accuracy, the material quality is premium, GOOD JOB ADIDAS AND KEEP THE GOOD WORK. THANK YOU.
This sneaker is so versatile and unique. I have to agree that it runs 1/2 bigger. I usually wear a size 9, but I ordered a size 8.5 and it fits beautifully. Shipping was so quick! I am truly satisfied with my order. I recommend these kicks to anyone.
You're probably looking at these shoes because they look great and they look even better in real life. Easily some of the coolest things to have on your feet, but I felt them to be a bit narrow. I tend to have this problem with most adidas shoes however, so for normal shaped feet I imagine it'll be fine!
My second time to wear an adi shoe. Well I have to say it has great traction. Also boots is Awesome. However, the forefoot is extremely terrible. No adiprene+. No response. No cushion. I don't suggest big guys choose this one.
I'm a woman but a sneaker head and Adidas is my FAVORITE sneaker. I brought this shoe in blue and yellow and the picture does this sneaker no good in person they are BEAUTIFUL! !! . They are very cushiony and comfortable. My left toe is broke so most shoes bother that foot and I always need a half size bigger but I ordered the 8 men's and I wear a 91/2 ladies and it's great. I also got it for 38.00 omg well worth the price. The delivery from this site is amazing I have my shoes in my hand 3 days after ordering I love this site, I also get confirmation from Adidas when they arrive at my door.
I think these are great running trainers for winter, or even just to move around. The sole is incredibly soft and you feel like you are walking on wool. I have worn them in this relatively warm weather and it might keep you feet a bit too warm but for winter time they are perfect.
i love the way this shoes look. its comfortable. Like everyone said it does run larger, i bought it in store so i have the chance to try on different sizes. Just as a comparison i have adidas superstar size 8.5, for this tubular i bought size 7. I know it sounds crazy 1.5 sizes down, but trust me i'm wearing it right now.
The shoe is overall very nice to look at, especially on feet. I love them and am glad to have them in my collection! Although people are saying go a full or half size up, I would recommend going true to size. The only bad thing about the shoe in my opinion is that the front toe guard is thicker than the knit material and therefore can be a bit irritating when it presses on your toes.
My title pretty much sums it up. First, the good: This has to be one of the most comfortable shoes I've ever worn. Appearance is great; Fit is great (I wear 9.5, but went with a half size up and don't regret it). The "sock-like" weave fit is so comfortable, and the boost material really seems second to none. Here's the MAJOR problem: the outer most sole wears faster than any other shoe I've ever owned. I'm generally a fast walker and occasional light jogger. The "nubs" are now completely gone and starting to cause very slippery conditions when wet or on slick surfaces, and I've only had these shoes about 6 months. For the life of me, I wanted to give this shoe a 5-star rating, but for $180, you would think "the greatest running shoe ever" would put a quality and revolutionary outer sole that would last? Why not use your Continental rubber soles like on other Adidas shoes? So disappointed, Adidas.
I usually wear a 8/8.5, and reading some suggestions to go 1 size smaller. So I ordered a sz7.5, which feels like a sz 9, that's 1.5 sizes bigger! I had to lay down a thicker padded liner to compensate for the looseness. I compared the length to my sz 8.5's and these 7.5's X Knits are definitely longer. Other wise great style, comfort, & stability. Rear heel sole feels stiff though (black half)
Bought these in sesame and also in grey. Such an awesome design - I've had several comments in just one day. Only thing is, based on trying other tubulars in shops, I ordered my usual size. When I tried them I figured that was correct cos they press down on my big toes (so much so that I even swapped the first pair I tried for a half size bigger, but returned them cos they were obviously too big, so reordered my usual size again thinking that was right). However, after wearing for a day it turns out that lengthwise they are about a half size too big, so rub my heels. Even insoles haven't made much difference. It's not the end of the world but it's disappointing cos it's too late now...
The design is awesome: minimalist, modern and *that* sole! There's plenty of room lengthwise (in fact a half size down might be a better fit in that respect, although it's tricky to say without trying) but each shoe presses on the big toe (so not enough "depth") meaning that if I were to try , I'd probably lose circulation!
This shoe is incredibly stylish, comfortable and great value for money. The shoe itself is incredibly comfortable to wear and fits very well, its definitely a shoe that will turn heads especially those who appreciate and love shoes. If you are looking for a shoe that's stylish, comfortable and will turn some heads I would definitely recommend this to you.
Not as comfortable as boost, but very nice all around shoe. Runs big. Ordered 10.5 but definitely need size 10 but they are sold out everywhere... Considered returning but they are just too awesome! lol
The Tublar X Primeknit is hard to put on. 1. The entrance is narrow. 2. The back pull tab is too small. Resulting in difficulty in putting on the Tubular X Primeknits. Sometimes I think about wearing another pair of shoes because of the akward motions / jolts of forces required to put the shoes on. Recommendations to Adidas for future models : Make the back pull tab larger, just as the front pull tab, so that wearer can get a firm grip of the shoe via the front and back pull tabs and get feet through the narrow entrance in a more seamless fashion.
looks great and they are really comfortable. Only slight improvement would be to make them more light weight and make the sole slightly more flexible but that certainly wouldn't put me off from buying this style again.
