I got my Samba's for my 13th birthday back in like 2005 (i'm 23). Samba's are THE UTILITY SNEAKER! Everyday wear, pick-up games, lifting shoes whatever. Surprisingly one of my favorite shoes to commute via bicycle on because of the sole's ruggedness. These shoes have been with me through college, trips through the middle east, and i'm still wearing them today in the gym and around town. Dear Adidas, Thank you. P.S. If we could get some white colour on the gum sole, you'd make one happy boy.
I actually bought these as CrossFit shoes.. I needed something with a a flat bottom for weight lifting, and yet comfortable enough to do some cardio in. I thought why not try soccer shoes, since they tend to be low to the ground, and well soccer players all they do is run lol. At first tight fit, but i do have wide feet. after walking around in them for 2 days.. they broke in just perfect. Plus I even customized them to say the nickname for crossfit i use! and ive convinced 4 other people in my gym to buy them and they love it!
Best indoor football boots around apparently. My first thoughts are that they do appear to be a great purchase if you are looking for some football boots to play indoor football. You can feel the quality as soon as you put them on they are very comfortable and made from soft leather so they should fit like a glove and should loosen up a bit after a few more games of wearing them. At £80 they are not cheap but I suppose quality costs and managed to get 20% off them with a recent adidas promotion, so look out for future promotions to get them at an even better price!
Comfort, grip, touch, and power. I highly recommend you hit the Adidas Employee store and drop the $55. I just might pick up a second pair to last me forever. These grip better than nubby turfs shoes on turf fields with the black rubber in them. I did not slip once even on some of the more 'rubbery' spots of the pitch. The Boost sole is great for those harder Futsal surfaces. My feet and knees thank me for it. I actually would give these 4.5 stars instead of 5 due to the fact that the foot bed is too narrow and pinches on the sides of my feet. I assume once these break in a bit they will be fine. The toe box is perfect. The laces do tend to come untied, make sure you double knot them nice and tight. GET THESE NOW
The shoe was a little tight so if you don't want problems with the width I would recommend a half size bigger unless your really skinny. Although I kept my true to size because it wasn't a major problem. Anyways, GREAT SHOE! I RECOMMEND BUYING IT RIGHT NOW than later because ITS AN AMAZING SHOE! 9.0 OUT 10 QUALITY, IMPROVED MY SKILLS, AMAZING COLOR WAY! PREFECT COLORS if you would like to STAND OUT, BE DIFFERENT, AND CAUSE CHAOS. I would also recommend this item because its ON SALE! BUY NOW!
Having just started playing Futsal in town I picked up some Sambas. A year later and a thousands kicks I purchased the ACE5.3 Indoor Shoes. They did exactly what I wanted in this upgrade - flatter to get under the ball. I've had a few games in these so far and they hold up to Adidas standards in shoes meant for ball play.
I own number of Adidas shoes for various activities, however these seem a bit on the small side compared to others. Hopefully will loosen a bit! Would recommend them, but maybe try half a size bigger!!
Great: +light +great ball-feel across the top of the shoe +low profile +tacky bottom for ball control Not as great: -stock laces come undone too easy, even after double-knotting. Will probably swap them for AMO Customs -the Boost adds to the price and not to the performance...I was really hoping these would make for great, shock-absorbing street boots -this is a 'knock' against all the new Boost indoor shoes...too narrow. I tried the X15.1, the Messi 15.1 and the mi X 15.1 CT. Everything is so narrow now. -even though this was wide enough in the toe-box, my foot was still being "squeezed" from the sides. I don't know what's going on or if Adidas has different foot models they use now but their shoes are too tight. I supposed if I was wearing the new compression Prime Knit I would understand but these synthetic shoes are going to take forever to break in. My only suggestion is not to order online but to try them out in person. And don't buy too big just to negate the narrow feeling...you will hinder your touch in a longer boot.
At first they were a bit tight but after a few training sessions and games they've molded to my foot and are much more comfortable now. The one really nice thing about this shoe in relation to others is that the sole is quite thin and the front of the shoe is much closer in feel to a classic cleat than it is to a sneaker. The touch is nice and the thin sole means you have a more direct contact with the ball and the floor. Overall they're quite comfortable but the tightness of the shoe limits the insoles you can use with these. Plan ahead and buy a half size larger if you need to wear insoles. As for the look I'm not a big fan of these super bright and super loud boots. I'm sure a younger player would enjoy the style better. The one thing that struck me was how synthetic looking the synthetic components of this shoe are. I'm a fan of leather personally. Overall I purchased them because they were fairly cheap and I needed a pair to play indoor ASAP. For the price I paid (about 50$ USD) I found these to be worthwhile. If you can get them for less even better.
It is perfect shoes for a soccer lover, thus it makes feet little sweaty because poor ventilation or not ventilation at all. I would love same model but with a material that or some tiny wholes that allow feet to breath and circulate some air.
These are legit the dopest shoes on the market. Not only are they super comfortable, but they look amazing in addition to the tiro 15 training pants. I couldn't be happier with them, and they fit perfectly. Great job Adidas!
The surface is remarkable, enhancing each touch with a certain sensitivity. Likewise, the design enriches footwork/movement with an exceptionally smooth quality - perfect grip for indoor grounds. The length was shorter than I anticipated. One the other hand the width is ideal, especially for shooting - perfect for those who use the entire foot.
The material is flexible and not stiff. The shoe is light weight. I usually wear a 10 1/2, but in this shoe, the 11 was right. This is definitely a shoe made for people with narrow feet. Mine are average and they so feel a little odd in the shoe. Not enough for me to return them though. 5 star shoe except for the fit to my foot type
I love these shoes with a pair of decent khaki shorts and casual shirt. To me the guy that doesn't want to wear running shoes these are just right, and to guys that play or have played soccer you will understand what I am saying..
I'd tried breaking them in its a bit tough I believe I have an average width foot I wear a size 9. But the width is a narrow than average compared to Adidas Millenium Samba that I have been wearing. But for my first time wearing the shoes it's very tight on the size. It been about a week some improvements but not much. So I would recommend if Adidas has the 15.3 in an medium width shoe to get it. Beside that the show is great love the colors it stands right out.
I purchased and returned approx. 6 different pairs of turf shoes from multiple brands thinking I could find a better deal, save some $ and settle for something less than the best. It didn't work. Sent everything else back and finally caved and ordered these when adidas had a 20% off promo. These turfs are classic. Perfect fit out of the box. Wear them on hard, dry grass in the summers in NC when boots are just too tough on the feet and turf fields in the winter to minimize chance of injury. Fit is consistent with other adidas product. I have slightly wider feet than average and these are great fit. Cheers...
This shoe was worth every dollar and cent. For 60$, I got a shoe that was both stylish and versatile. Even after two months of constant use, my shoes still look virtually brand new, unlike my old shoes which yellowed and wore out after a while. My only complaint was that they were very, very tight when I first wore them, but they got better once I breaked them in enough. Another quality product from a renowned shoe manufacturer.
Im a UK 10, but in Copa always go down half a size. Well with these I had to go up half a size to a UK 10.5 as they are rather small fitting in my opinion. Good build, leather is good, overall finish is just as good as Copa's made in Germany.
I love these and they feel so right on my feet. The more you wear them the better they feel. Which is why I was a little disappointed that after two years my old ones got a huge rip. I am only a once a week recreational player, so I am not sure if two years is the lifespan or not. I got new ones so we will see.
This shoe is amazingly great, i had some troubles at first getting used to the extreme grip it has with the ball, its awesome, once you get used to it you can literaly do with the ball anything that comes to mind!
Really like these boots. I use the indoors on a wodden floor and outside on astro turf. Comfortable and a good fit. Only negative is that they squeak! Either that or my knees are in worse state than I thought :)
I've always worn normal cleats to play on AG and gosh these shoes made a huge difference to my game! The K-Leather is supper comfy, the sole really does a great job at absorbing any shock and its really durable. Only issue.....SIZING. I'm usually a 11us in all soccer shoes (hypervenoms, F50, Adipure, 11Pro, T90 Laser..etc) Despite everyone saying these are true to size or half size samll.....WRONG. I went a full size down in the bad boys! I like em really snug though, but trust me, the K-leather is really forgiving.
I am using this shoe for work. i work forty hours a week on concrete and my feet feel fine all day long. i have been using this shoe exclusivity for over four years and bought the current two pair so i have backups. They will last me a couple of years.
Let me start by saying that this is my second pair of Sambas. The first pair was bought in 2002 and I used them for a variety of activities and sports including Tennis and outdoor basketball. That pair was stolen in 2013. Yes, someone stole a pair of 11 year old shoes because they are just that good. When I set out to find a replacement, I was disappointed to see that the updated version had a different insole that placed some awkward cushioning under the medial aspect of the foot. After numerous attempts at finding an alternative, I ended up buying a pair anyway. The good news is that the extra foam that was bothering me was very easy to remove. Was able to peel it off in less than 15 seconds and these babies feel just like my old Sambas.
A great quality shoes. Clear to see the quality is well above a standard indoor shoe. be wary of the sizing charts as these do come up small. I measured as an 8 on the chart, ordered an 8.5, but in reality need a 9. My feet just touch the end and i'm hoping as the leather gives they will stretch out a little. Too late to return though!
