Training for a Marathon and bought these trainers after reading general reviews. They are excellent especially considering the current price. I've only had them a few weeks but have been out in all sorts of weather and on various terrains. They have performed consistently, they are very comfortable, supportive and grippy. The sole is amazing, the boost seems to do just that, up to 14 miles at the moment and no issues with my feet. One small issue is the front surround material seems to be coming adrift on both shoes. I will be returning them to Adidas and exchanging them for exactly the same pair. My only concern is that this needs to be a quick process since it's my only pair. On consideration I may order a new pair prior to returning the old ones. Hopefully Adidas sort this issue out quickly since they are a top class running trainer and I'm defiantly sticking with them.
These trainers are one of my favourites so far! They're very comfortable but in terms of fit, they do come up a little big. I read many reviews before purchasing online and a lot mentioned the size. So as I'm normally a size 7 I downgraded to a 6 and it was a perfect fit. They also had a few inches to your height as the heel is quite chunky but overall I would recommend these to anyone and everyone.
I purchased my first pair of Adidas Boost Energy 3 in October 2014. I bought two pairs and loved them. I ran a half marathon and 10k in them. However, in training my feet began to hurt, so I bought the Supernova Glide Boost 7 because it is a wider fit shoe. This shoe is perfect - I trained for a marathon and ran it in these. My feet never hurt while training, the laces stay tied very well, and the comfort level is high. I recommend these to everyone I know looking for running shoes.
Looks great when worn and feels great but definitely do NOT get half a size down because they are a little narrow. I got my size (UK 6) and I feel like they would have been a lot more comfortable in a 6.5, but I like a little room in my shoe. Other than that I really love how they look and definitely want to try out more colors.
I bought these in a size 12, not only are they too narrow but they also crushed my toes and caused multiple blisters on the back on my heel. I would recommend getting half a size bigger than your actual shoe size after this experience.
The Tubular is a sensational shoe - super light, very modern looking, very comfy. I bought a pair of the Consortium Tubulars when they first dropped, and I literally wore the soles off them. I trimmed the laces short, and the shoes slip on and off quite easily. The 'sock' design is great. The end of the laces tucks under the top eyelet - wrap a bit of electrical tape around the trimmed end to stop it fraying and slipping out of the eyelet. And much like a car tyre going bald, once they wear down the soles of these are treacherous in the wet! Which is not really a criticism of the shoe, more a criticism of me leaving it WAY too late to buy new ones. All in all, very happy - have been wearing adidas almost exclusively for years, loving the new designs!
I've got the light gray carbon Tubular X. This shoe turns heads and gets compliments almost daily. If you have the right wardrobe these are crucial. The soles remind you of the yeezys. Color is awesome. These are one of my favorite pair of shoes going into 2016.
I love the style of this shoe , but i got my normal size and it was a size too big. My foot was swimming inside. If you can try it on before ordering i would suggest it, lets face it online returns are a hassle.
Very cool looking - getting lots of compliments. But they run really small. I normally wear 11-11.5, but these 11.5s were way too small so had to exchange for the 12. Also got a different pair of springblades from a store a few days earlier and those 11.5s were almost big.
So this is going to be a review mostly on fit, because people always need help on this. My foot is about 10 1/2 inches long, and about 4 1/4 inches wide. I either wear a 9 1/2 (wide) or a 10 (regular) in my true size. This shoe is the perfect width for me, and the length is great. 9 1/2 fits well, 9 fits perfect. I recommend either 1/2 or a full size down from your true shoe size. In regards to comfort, it hugs your feet. Looks, 10/10, and you can feel the quality in the shoe. Best from the Tubular line, by far. But as I said, half to a full size down. If your foot resembles my measurements, 9.5 for space, 9 for a more snug fit.
I got these as a gift to my boyfriend and he is in love with these. The color changes are game-changing. A lot of people sleep on Adidas but these are the rawest, mind-blowing pair of shoes I've ever seen. Can they make a woman's size PLEASE
I bought these shoes in preparation for the Amsterdam Marathon in October 2015. I get problems with my shins when running if I wear a neutral trainer and I needed to purchase a pair that had a structural support to stop my feet pronating and avoid any pressure on my shins. These work great and running 26.2 miles is the perfect test. I am a size 8 in most shoes and these were the size I got with Adidas so they were accurate in size too.
They have a great, unique design made of materials you don't need to worry about messing up or getting wet. The only thing that could make these shoes better is by putting Boost in that big hole in the heel because these could definitely be more comfortable.
A year ago I purchased rocket boost shoes for winter, and as my review then reflected i was dissapointed in some of the design features and choices, this year adidas has made significant improvements to the quality and balance and materials of this winter runner shoe. I love it. Water resistant, warm, good balance of boost material and improved upper, comfort and texture are comfortable and rugged for the season. Great.
I was the first kid in my high school to wear Adidas tennis shoes, Adidas Italia. They were kangaroo leather, super soft and incredibly comfortable. They were not made to withstand the grind of a tennis court, but rather afterwards relaxing after a day of tennis with my friends. Watching Rod Laver's matches coupled with his skill and ability, I was destined to move into a pair of "those to be" classic shoes. They have been my favorite tennis-athletic shoe for decades. Washability. Wearability. Comfort. Classic style. Dependable. Adidas has a champion with the Rod Laver Classic Tennis Shoe. At 62, I can't tell that any extra weight has slowed me down any chasing a tennis ball across the court. Thanks Adidas for keeping the legends alive! A ll D ay I D ream A bout S ports J Davis
I should have read previous reviews regarding the sizing. I am an 11 in 90% of the shoes I buy and a 10.5 in the others. I had to return the 11s I ordered and got an 11.5. Fits much better, especially in the toe box.
Bought them because I liked the look of them online. So pleased with the fit, tight and snug but not too tight. They offer good support, and look like a classy trainer, rather than all the bling that you see on trainers these days.
I have several pairs of Boost runners from Adidas, however I find these don't fit anywhere as well as the ones I have bought in the past so am a little disappointed. They look nice though and it might just be an odd pair.
Cosmic boost trainers are amazing , I always wear Nike free run until until I tried these little beauties , comfortable , look cool , perform really well and keep your feet cool and supported . These trainers are awesome thanks adidas I am converted
These arrived today and I've been wearing them all day. They are comfortable and very nice to walk in. Goes well with any sort of jeans. If getting posted, you will be satisfied as the postage is very speedy.
I haven't purchased a pair of Adidas since 2002. I forgot how the Adidas shoes have such a wide width at the toes, which can be appreciated for someone with wide feet. I cannot say the same thing about Nike. I run in Asics, casually wear Nike's, weight train in Reeboks. The tubulars are replacing my 95 air max retro's. Tubulars are comfortable and lightweight. They have an excellent feel not to mention that they add an inch of height to you. I wear a size 9, but had to order a 8.5 in the Tubulars, which is still roomy (foot slide during running). One of the best pickup in a long time, now I am going to stock up on about two more pair just so I have the colorways that I want.
A great shoe for colder season weather, however my only criticism is that the shoe's camo was slightly too dark to be distinguishable unless there is bright light. Nevertheless it is a solid pick though i personally prefer the knit edition
First purchase of shoes from an online store, and it was everything I dreameddreamed of, with only a few minor cons. Overall, a great shoe, and in this color scheme, it is able to suit any outfit you wear. Great ankle support, and the "boost" does give a little additional bounce in your stride. Incredible for running, and pretty good in the gym and have also worn them on courts and fields, playing sports such as basketball and football (soccer for you American folks). The only qualm I have with these shoes is that the grip on the bottom of the site isn't as, well, grippy, as I would have liked. For example, on an icy or snowy day these kicks will do you no favors, and small slips will inevitability occur. They do fare better if you are on a court, but the occasional misstep is likely. This isn't too stay you can't use them here, I have done so several times and they are perfectly fine. Can honestly say that it is well worth the purchase - no ragrets. Hassle free process and regular email updates from Adidas; well done.
I think this shoe may run a half size too small. I wear 9 1/2 in every Adidas that's I've purchased thus far but this shoe feels a bit too tight in my size. The shoe itself is very nice and it feels pretty comfortable. I still recommend purchasing a pair.
The Good: SUPER comfy. They look GREAT In joggers, sweatpants, jeans, chinos, anything! A seriously beautiful sneaker The Bad: SIZING! Im usually a size 11 so per other reviews i ordered a 10.5 pair and i could barely fit my feet in them. I ordered size 11s and the tongues were all floppy and the uppers just didnt form around my ankles how they should have. My advice: get the primeknit tubular x instead if you really want these. Otherwise you can live without these
