Really love the Pioneer colorway. I tried it on at adidas store and instantly bought it. It looked great and felt great. Much better looking in person. The hot colorway of the NMDs were sold out too quick before I had chance and I liked wearing basketball shoes anyway
These shoes are a beautiful colour. I wasn't sure about the tongue, it leaves my foot feeling a little sweaty through my sock but I'm sure I'll get used to such a little issue. I have wide feet which seem to be well catered for by this shoe, bunion not so much but what can you do? Top notch quality as always Adidas.
I've had gazelle shoes since the mid 70's... the quality from adidas has never changed. Although the concept of the shoe is old the function and fashion has never diminished. Thoroughly recommend the shoes as a fashion item... not really a running shoe as they once were.
Really Good, if you have it, you can tell Harden put effort and time into designing into this shoe. Traction loses it in about 3-5 plays but a single wipe gets it back in the game. I'm pretty sure cushion is a good point in this shoe since it's a Low. Most Low don't have great cushion, but this one seems to do the job. Fit was so surprising to me. Fits well for wide footers. Narrower footers beware though, I went true to size. Lockdown is very good, these shoe won't fly in the air. Looks are fire. Feels heavy in the hand but I didn't mind it at all on my foot. Some notes on durability: This shoe so far doesn't have major problems, breaking in takes some days. If you hit the three stripes on the back of the shoe on something hard, it will scrap easy, so if you want it to look good and untouch, beware of that. Otherwise, I would say best Guard shoe to buy for 2016/2017. Hopefully Harden's next shoes will be just as good as the Harden 1.
I've been wearing Gazelles for years. Yeah, I'm old enough to have worn them when the first came out. They stopped making them for a bit a few years ago and then started again. But the shoes are different. The heel isn't nearly as sturdy and they fall apart after a while. Buy 'em if you like the style, they're classics. But be prepared to buy another pair pretty soon after 'cause they're not gonna last.
Basically if you are the kind of person to want to stand out a little and dont want to blow 300 notes on some top range trainers, Gazelles are made for you. They are the classic trainer everyone knows what you are getting the newer version has a new tongue to it with slight grooves down the centre but this leads to it staying in place better and is a step up from the last version of a solid one piece of almost rubber.
Such a great, simple, but classic shoe. Highly recommend OVER the Campus or Stan Smith, as only the Gazelle still has arch supports!!! Not a fan of the rubber toe on the Super Star, or the large bump toe of the Samoa. To me, the Gazelle is perfect on the inside (arch support) and the outside (full leather from end to end).
Generally good. I have a pair in blue already. The only thing I have noticed is that grip is quite poor and feels slippery sometimes when walking. I'm hoping this is just a a case of 'wearing them in.' The tongue as also a bit different to the shoes I have already and is a bit plasticky like a football boot and not fabric.
Bought these but insoles weren't cut to correct shape and were unstuck. Ordered a 2nd pair but these were exactly the same. Not what I would expect from Adidas and an expensive trainer. Very disappointed.
