I got my Samba's for my 13th birthday back in like 2005 (i'm 23). Samba's are THE UTILITY SNEAKER! Everyday wear, pick-up games, lifting shoes whatever. Surprisingly one of my favorite shoes to commute via bicycle on because of the sole's ruggedness. These shoes have been with me through college, trips through the middle east, and i'm still wearing them today in the gym and around town. Dear Adidas, Thank you. P.S. If we could get some white colour on the gum sole, you'd make one happy boy.
Best indoor football boots around apparently. My first thoughts are that they do appear to be a great purchase if you are looking for some football boots to play indoor football. You can feel the quality as soon as you put them on they are very comfortable and made from soft leather so they should fit like a glove and should loosen up a bit after a few more games of wearing them. At £80 they are not cheap but I suppose quality costs and managed to get 20% off them with a recent adidas promotion, so look out for future promotions to get them at an even better price!
These are legit the dopest shoes on the market. Not only are they super comfortable, but they look amazing in addition to the tiro 15 training pants. I couldn't be happier with them, and they fit perfectly. Great job Adidas!
I love these shoes with a pair of decent khaki shorts and casual shirt. To me the guy that doesn't want to wear running shoes these are just right, and to guys that play or have played soccer you will understand what I am saying..
I purchased and returned approx. 6 different pairs of turf shoes from multiple brands thinking I could find a better deal, save some $ and settle for something less than the best. It didn't work. Sent everything else back and finally caved and ordered these when adidas had a 20% off promo. These turfs are classic. Perfect fit out of the box. Wear them on hard, dry grass in the summers in NC when boots are just too tough on the feet and turf fields in the winter to minimize chance of injury. Fit is consistent with other adidas product. I have slightly wider feet than average and these are great fit. Cheers...
This shoe was worth every dollar and cent. For 60$, I got a shoe that was both stylish and versatile. Even after two months of constant use, my shoes still look virtually brand new, unlike my old shoes which yellowed and wore out after a while. My only complaint was that they were very, very tight when I first wore them, but they got better once I breaked them in enough. Another quality product from a renowned shoe manufacturer.
Im a UK 10, but in Copa always go down half a size. Well with these I had to go up half a size to a UK 10.5 as they are rather small fitting in my opinion. Good build, leather is good, overall finish is just as good as Copa's made in Germany.
I love these and they feel so right on my feet. The more you wear them the better they feel. Which is why I was a little disappointed that after two years my old ones got a huge rip. I am only a once a week recreational player, so I am not sure if two years is the lifespan or not. I got new ones so we will see.
Really like these boots. I use the indoors on a wodden floor and outside on astro turf. Comfortable and a good fit. Only negative is that they squeak! Either that or my knees are in worse state than I thought :)
I've always worn normal cleats to play on AG and gosh these shoes made a huge difference to my game! The K-Leather is supper comfy, the sole really does a great job at absorbing any shock and its really durable. Only issue.....SIZING. I'm usually a 11us in all soccer shoes (hypervenoms, F50, Adipure, 11Pro, T90 Laser..etc) Despite everyone saying these are true to size or half size samll.....WRONG. I went a full size down in the bad boys! I like em really snug though, but trust me, the K-leather is really forgiving.
I am using this shoe for work. i work forty hours a week on concrete and my feet feel fine all day long. i have been using this shoe exclusivity for over four years and bought the current two pair so i have backups. They will last me a couple of years.
Let me start by saying that this is my second pair of Sambas. The first pair was bought in 2002 and I used them for a variety of activities and sports including Tennis and outdoor basketball. That pair was stolen in 2013. Yes, someone stole a pair of 11 year old shoes because they are just that good. When I set out to find a replacement, I was disappointed to see that the updated version had a different insole that placed some awkward cushioning under the medial aspect of the foot. After numerous attempts at finding an alternative, I ended up buying a pair anyway. The good news is that the extra foam that was bothering me was very easy to remove. Was able to peel it off in less than 15 seconds and these babies feel just like my old Sambas.
A great quality shoes. Clear to see the quality is well above a standard indoor shoe. be wary of the sizing charts as these do come up small. I measured as an 8 on the chart, ordered an 8.5, but in reality need a 9. My feet just touch the end and i'm hoping as the leather gives they will stretch out a little. Too late to return though!
I love these trainers. They ooze quality, and the touch and feel when on the ball is great. I can see them lasting a few years. My only concern would be that the initial fit is pretty snug both in length and width however after a couple of days they have "given" nicely and are very comfortable.
This is my fourth shoe, and my only concern is that the synthetic wedge heal breaks down and disintegrates leaving the rest of the shoe intact, but unusable. If Adidas can design a more durable wedge, this will be a perfect shoe.
I'm a big guy. I have a size 14 W foot and I'm over 6 feet tall. I always wanted Sambas but didn't think that they would be wide enough. After talking with an Adidas online specialist and some of my soccer buddies I decided to try them out. I figured the return policy is good so why not. I am NOT going to need the return policy. They fit great right off the bat! Now after a few days, as the leather has broken in, I don't even feel the shoes on my feet. They are incredibly comfortable. I will never get another kind of sneaker. Sambas for life!
Great shoe, oozing typical Adidas quality, unfortunately having read a recommendation to buy a half a size down for a more precise fit I have had to return the shoes as they were far to small but will be exchanging them for the correct size.
This boot is amazing! They fit true to size but you can even go a 1/2 size down. The break in time will come with some discomfort but after they break in they feel just like a glove. They are durable and they are made solid like a rock. Great ball feel just like the copas. I highly recommend this product it just screams quality. Thanks Adidas please keep making these
These Sambas have seen me through adventures from the Appalachian mountains to the far side of the world. They have hiked passes on the Rwenzoris and walked the cobblestones of Sevilla. When the shoelaces literally disintegrated to dust in the heat of South Sudan, I replaced them with construction line, then later with tough outdoor lashing cord. They took a beating in Bangladesh and have walked the streets of Kolkata for a year. Now the journey of these fine shoes is finished. RIP Sambas. #AdventureShoe — in Calcutta, India.
These were for my husband who already has a pair in the football boots he feels they are the most comfortable supportive runner he has ever had Well done Adidas as he has problems with ankles due to sports injuries
My second pair of these and i absolutely love them. The quality is amazing and they look superb as well. I normally take a 10 but following other reviews on this site I've gone for a 9 and they fit fine. You won't find better than these, especially if you can find them at a discounted price.
From the first moment I put these on I knew they were right, first game played in them they felt comfortable, secure and the grip is second to none. I would highly recommend these as a great all rounder. Certainly improved my game.
Excellent shoes for those who need versatility from their shoes. I love the treads on the sambas. They provide excellent grip when outdoors, but are also flat, which suits my needs for the style of kung fu that I practice. The black colour matches with everything, and the rubber sole is dark, blending in easily. They look good with shorts & no socks in the summer. And they're good for winter, which important because I live in Canada. I hate boots because they're heavy and bulky. Plus, my other shoes get destroyed by the constant exposure to salt. These shoes have that half inch of rubber along the sole which makes a big difference. The insoles have a bump to provide some arch support, but I find them awkwardly placed. I may cut them out to create a more flat insole.
This is a great shoe. Good traction, great touch, soft, and comfortable. Just make sure to try more than one size before purchasing as they tend to run a half size big. I'm a 9.5 and I should have bought 9's. If you must you can always double-sock.
As I got into my 30's my knees could no longer handle playing 2-3x a week with molded cleats. Have been wearing these Mundial turf shoes for past 5 years and never gone back to cleats except when it is soft grass. They last 1.5 - 2 yrs if you get new insoles. Adidas could probably improve these by putting in better quality insoles for impact absorption. If you play 2-3x a week on turf, you will need to replace the insoles after 6 months or your knees will feel it.
