micoach is all you need to get the results you want.
Truly pains me that I had to return these due to inconsistent sizing and fit. The left shoe fit great but the right was way off. Traction and cushion were all time. I had the most issues with the shallow heel cup and the lacing was a bit off for me. Really too bad because these are one of the most comfortable hoop shoes I've ever put on. Lock down was just a little too unstable for me personally. If the ankle collar was just 2 cm higher in the heel, I think they would've been perfect.
The look and comfort of this shoe are both great. However, I have had my foot completely slip out of the shoe THREE times while making cuts in a basketball game. I tied them tighter and it still happened. That is the sign of a flawed product when it comes to performance.
Adidas Crazylight Boost low is by far the best basketball shoe ive played in. Now, Iam not a hooper but i do play rec and with Friends. The quality of the shoe is great and the bost is felt during play. Pretty good traction, very comfotable, and your feet Will not Hurt afterwards. The only problem is the fit of The shoe, you need to go half a size down. Other than that you Will get your moneys worth, HANDS DOWN.
Great low top shoe. Full length boost provided solid cushioning and the upper of the shoe fits very comfortably and snug. The continental rubber used on the sole makes for excellent traction. Beware, the shoe runs half a size to a full size too big. So if you wear an 11, go ahead and get a 10 or 10 1/2
Not sure why people are so in love with this shoe. The Crazylight Boost Low 2016 is definitely an above average shoe (especially for how much it costs in comparison to competitors). Pros: Boost- very comfortable-- different feel from Ultra BOOST because the BOOST is more dense and compacted Traction- A1, awesome/great/phenomenal. The use of continental rubber definitely helps and makes it more the outsole more sticky and durable Material: Jacquard is very durable and definitely better than most fused uppers. Flexible and soft enough to provide comfort and durable enough to not tear or rip easily. Cons: Lockdown- HORRIBLE. Lots of heel slippage when walking, running, and jumping. I thought lockdown would be a given in 2016 for any basketball shoe (even if it's a low top because they do exist) Fit- WTH?! 1. The shoe is outrageously extra long so going down a half size is actually like going up a half size in a normal shoe. If you go down a FULL size in the Crazylight BOOST 2016 then you're actually getting your normal size that you would purchase for any other shoe (I hope that makes sense) 2. There is only 4 lace holes/ eyelets! Why adidas did this is beyond me and it doesn't make sense. I don't think that is related to any heel slippage, but rather having only 4 lace holes doesn't keep the foot from sliding around in the shoe and keeping the shoe molded/hugging your foot. It's very abnormal to only have 4 lace holes when most others shoes average 6-8 lace holes which seems to get the job done lockdown wise. Overall, I would still consider this shoe to be above average because of the great traction (which you can't find in a lot of shoes out there for some reason) and because of the BOOST which makes it a very comfortable shoe and great for absorbing impact. I gave the shoe 3 starts because it's an above average low top basketball shoe, but lacks a very effective lockdown which is essential to me because if a basketball shoe doesn't have great lockdown then I might as well play in tennis shoes.
I was disappointed in the lack of cushion on these shoes. I am used to wearing Ultra Boost off court and D Rose 6 on court and was hoping for the same feel--not even close. If you are looking for that boost feel, go with the Crazy Explosive instead. That said, if you like less cushion and more court feel these might be perfect for you. They are comfortable, but just don't give that boost feel I was expecting. I have a slightly wide foot and true to size on these was perfect for me.
After 6 hours on slight dust wooden floor, comfort level was good, bounce and heel-toe transition very good, traction outstanding, material seems durable. Having narrow feet and weak ankles, I am amazed how supportive a low-top can be.
This shoe is amazing. I have a wide foot and wear orthodoics and the fit is a 7/10 for me but cushion and traction are so ridiculous that although it doesn't fit my personal foot well and my heel slips some, it is the best performing basketball sneaker I have. Best cushion I own wise if brandblack Jcrossover 3 is a 5/10, KD9 and Drose 6 are 7/10, this shoe is a 10/10 and the traction blows all those shoes out of the water. Great shoe, the best shoe I have, and the crazy part is it could still be better!
Traction is phenomenal. Cushion is absolutely insane. Fit is a bit longer than I'd like it to be. The heel lockdown is the only thing I don't like. It doesn't slip out while playing, but I don't have a secure lockdown feel. Amazing shoe overall. Would definitely double up on. Great job Adidas.
These are by far the best low top basketball shoes I have ever worn. The Kobe IVs came out quite awhile ago and have finally been surpassed by the Crazylight 2016! The cushion is outstanding and full length and is even more responsive than the D Rose 6 Boost. Traction is outstanding indoors and outdoors and I never have to wipe. The only suggestion I would make is for people to go a half size down because they do run slightly long. As a Houston Rockets fan I am excited that James Harden will be wearing these instead of his old Nikes that had no cushion and felt like bricks. Also looking forward to his signature shoe when it releases as long as it has full length Boost.
The Lillard 2 runs a little big so a half size down may be in order. I havent played in Adidas since the Gilbert Arenas shoe but I have to say these are easily comparable to anything on the market right now. Full length cushion that cant be killed by stepping on a tack....and for 105?? Plus the materials are top of the line. They were so comfortable I bought another pair to walk around in. I just wish 13.5 was a little more common place.
All you need to know is this shoe runs true to size and Boost is super comfortable. The graphics are dope I love the red I rock these with my Manchester United jerseys home and away. I have a wide foot and these fit perfect no need to go size up or down. Plus these are slept on honestly they should be sold out by now but that's why I love em, because no one else has em.
I was excited about these...until I finally laced them up to play basketball. I bought a 10.5 & a 10 to ensure i got my true size. Even with that, they just arent a good basketball shoe for a few reasons. 1) they're too clunky. meaning they just look a few sized too big even when youre wearing your true to size. 2) not as light as advertised. these didnt feel crazylight as the name would suggest. 3) heel slippage...constantly. I laced them up tight and my heel always managed to slide up a just a tad. Here are some of the things I liked or thought were ok... 1) great traction. one of the best ive experienced. 2)comfort was pretty good from heel to forefoot 3)and the quality is nice However, the bad outweigh the good in my opinion. I own about 10 pair of adidas shoes (UB, PB, stan smith, etc) and the Crazylight 2016 leave me feeling a bit disappointed; a feeling I rarely have with Adidas. I've worn them once to play basketball and would return them if I could. However, I dont think thats an option. Having said all this, I still like Adidas as a product and this shoe may work for some, but not all.
Not a wide foot friendly shoe, will have painful breaking in time in the fore foot area. If you have wide feet, its hard to say go up half a size cause if you do, then the shoe is to long and you will have a lot of dead space in toe area. I went up half a size in case my true size was to small for me. Overall it is a good shoe and upgraded so much than last year!
This shoe has everything a guard or even big man would want perfect traction and cushion. The shoes always have great traction even on the worst courts and for me that is very important, one other adidas did well in these is the support great ankle support for a low top shoe
