It is an amazing cleat and I actually would love to wear them! Only thing is i prefer something that is a little higher for more pretection on my ankles. If you had different sizes such as low, medium, & high that would be great
Im a speed based wide receiver and these cleats aren't ideal for the position. I used to have the 5-star 3.0 and they were more ideal for the position, these cleats are a lot heavier compared to them (obviously) although they offer a lot of traction, stability, comfort and ankle support. Off the start of my routes I felt slower and my beginning cuts were slow and acceleration was decreased but that was expected. Although once I reached top speed the traction kicks in and i could make my top speed cuts and changes in direction A LOT easier. Unless you need to reach a high speed really fast, these cleats are ideal for lineman, and other power positions based on your style. But the traction is great I didn't slip at all compared to the star 3.0s, although i haven't tried the 4.0s yet. Definitely one of the most comfortable cleats ive ever worn before during and after playing. They felt very blocky and slowing me down but like i said, unless you are used to light cleat i cant imagine much of a difference. The ankle support is majestic. I don't see any problems in durability except for creasing, but that's okay. Pros: Traction ankle support comfort Top speed cuts Cons: weight minor size issues (but i have small feet) acceleration from start blockiness Ideal position: 1- Lineman 2-maybe linebacker
Feel as light as the Adizero but with more toe protection, and the mid-top design with the neoprene sock allows a player to play without being spat, eliminating any extra tape weight. Great traction on grass and turf. Better than the RG3's played in last year.
I am a wide receiver and I had been looking for a good cleat to suit my needs and I found these. I played with them for a season and they were GREAT! The only thing I didn't like about them was that they were narrow a bit making them a little tight but that didn't take away from how great this cleat is. I would recommend this to anyone look for a good cleat that's easy to cut in and easy to run in.
My son has tried on this cleat and it felt great immediately. Watching the combine a lot of the fastest guys are wearing them. But with as many top of the food chain as they do have, why would you not have a Wolf, Panther, etc?
These kicks not only look super dope, but they are extremely comfortable too! They are lightweight, they offer great support and they are breathable. Who wouldn't want to rock sneakers designed for Tha Doggfather!??!
Purchased these for my 13 year old boy who's in his last year of youth tackle football. Light, comfortable, great support and flat out good looking, best cleat he's ever played in. He stated as a running back/line backer these cleats allow for quicker, tighter cuts, and better traction. Adidas did it again. I've been a fan for 30 years and now he's one also, 7 years and counting.
Love the cleat!!! Great performance! wore them to prom!!!!!!!!! Just wish they came with more mascots, like a Fighting Pinto. I play for the Moriarity Fighting Pinto beans!!!! GOOOOOOOO BEANS!!!!! Well anyways i think we need more Pinto inspired cleats. Love the product. Love the bear and the cheatahs etc. But most teams in the USA are Fighting Pintos and would love to see the most fierce growling Pinto Bean you can find!!!!!!!!! Thank You Adidas. GOOOOOOOOOOOOO Pintos!!!!!!!
This shoe gives great traction on my school's turf field. I can turn quicker and shoot of the line faster then I ever have before. However, the first few weeks will be very painful because you have to break them in. The shoe is made out of a hard outer material, so it seems to take a longer time to mold to your foot. I am a little scared for the regular season coming up because the back part of the cleat plate is pealing off a little. I have been practicing for a total of two months in them and the fact that the cleat plate is pealing concerns me. I don't think the plate's glue will come more undone, it seems pretty sturdy. Overall, I'm happy with my purchase, but wish I could return them for another pair thats maybe not as defective.
These cleats are awesome, one thing is that I did an agility workout on grass one day, and the gold was already coming off the bottom of the cleat. Once I get into full contact football, the gold will probably be all the way gone. Maybe the bottoms should have just been black.
