Although they are slightly narrower than I would have liked, these shoes are crazy comfortable and super lightweight. For the issue with the width I simply loosened the laces and dont tie them as tightly and now they fit like a glove. Can't wait to get full use of them next summer! Highly recommended.
These shoes are excellent! Many people have commented on how great these look. They are great for everyday wear and fantastic for athletic performance. By far, the comfiest shoes I have ever worn. I already own another 2 pairs of the cosmic boost but these are that little bit more special.
This shoe has always been a great running shoe (and I have tried a lot) Purchased this version without realizing the different color soles. Really made it a fun looking shoe and my daughters love it! Hope it makes me run faster......
Been running with minimal style addi zero for running offroad up mt manganui, because didnt like the bulky responce and supernova. These feel like they fit perfectly for my now 80% road running scenario and more cushioned in the toe area but still light. They feel better for longer distances for me and because they have a full rubber sole i can use them for jumping on my hardtail and hit some jumps round aucklands urban jungle. Nice bit of daglo detail to keep it interesting. Nice shoe.
These shoes offer a sort of compromise: they offer the bouncy ride of Boost foam in the forefoot with a supportive EVA-like foam midsole through the heel. Boost foam is essentially like wearing a synthetic running track on your foot--bouncy, soft. The problem with Boost, however, is that is can amplify natural tendencies in your gate: if you overpronate or underpronate it'll tend to give way in that direction; the offset of this is the incredibly soft springy ride you get. I say it's a fine trade-off if you can keep your mechanics in check. As mentioned, these shoes also offer a much more supportive non-boost foam through the arch and heel, and so provide a half-Boost shoe for people who want more support but also the Boost... well, boost. That said, these shoes are for running: going back to front not side to side. The heel is high enough, and the boost foam so supple, that you have a chance of rolling an ankle if you are trying to do any kind of intense lateral movement in them. The bottom of the sole is a gel-y but tough rubber to keep your footing stable even if the Boost foam condenses during soft turns. The upper fits like a sock as the product description and others mention. It happens to fit me so well that the laces are essentially cosmetic but this is just chance in my case and being able to cinch the fit with the laces to get the perfect tension is there for those who need it. The booty is a two ply knit, air flows through it nicely. A great runner for intermediate-or-better (or naturally neutral) runners or as an unsurpassable casual shoe for anybody. Also, I think they look great. Tasteful tech. (n.b. I wear anywhere from a 9-10US in Adidas, almost exclusively a 9.5US in runners, as I like them to be suitably roomy for foot splay and mild swelling. I have a fairly though not extremely wide foot. These fit me well as a 9.5US, just as my other Adidas running shoes.)
I'm a college student and athlete and I'm always on my feet. Whether it's walking to class, working out in the gym, or going for a run, these shoes are great. I especially love running in them, It just feels incredible. They shipped really quick, which I love! I wear size 12 in other brands and 12 fit really well for me with these, so stay true to size. If you're thinking about buying them, do it! These shoes are well worth it in my opinion. The material of the shoe is very high quality and I don't think you'll be disappointed. They are durable and dirt doesn't really show on the shoe too much. I got the all black version and they look great with anything. Over all, Adidas did something amazing when they made these.
I picked these shoes up for just $55.99. This was a steal consider they were a $100. These shoes are great for running and they simply feel great. This is the most comfortable shoes I have ever worn. I use these shoes for track and they are great for that. So all in all I recommend this shoe very much and you won't regret buying them
Upon receiving this shoe in the mail and unboxing it, the shoe's claim to fame was proven: It is very light. To summarize the shoe's performance, the traction on the shoe is rather decent (occasionally picking up dust, needing to be wiped every 15 minutes) , but unfit for outdoor use and unsustainable for long-time wear. The shoe's conformation to the foot is one of the shoe's best features as it helps to create an almost sock-like feel. The Boost in the heel has a very good feel when landing, but is not countered by the forefoot cushioning as Adidas continues to disappoint with its Adiprene cushioning. I would suggest implementing the Boost throughout the whole plantar region of the shoe providing a fully functional cushioning system that allows no room for complaint. To me, the sizing feels true-to-fit and pleasurable.
Just got this as a team shoe, and going from the clutch fit drives to this is a huge difference. Not so comfortable and they run a half size big, can't get these to squeak much either, however they do have some nice bounce to them l, and the heel and lock down support are A1
First time I bought shoes online that are that amazing. I was rather sceptical about them but this shoes are really great. They have enough space in toebox, even for my quite wide feet, after 3 runs, great, you don't really feel them on your feet, for me that's the thing. Just Great!
A wonderful pair of basketball shoes! Very light and looking great, they are a bit narrow though even for my slim feet. D-Rose is one of my favourite players, hope he will be back on the court soon and stay fit for the rest of his career!
I purchased these shoes for running. I just finished the C25K and needed a good looking, light shoe to make it easier to move on to the 10K app and this shoe is it!! I purchased the all black pair and absolutely love them, super lightweight and look good even when I'm not running. Buy them, you will not regret it.
I've taken these shoes with me on a 3-week vacation and have been using them running and city walking. So far they've performed perfectly. Great, true fit, very comfortable, and they really do keep my feet nice and cool. Thoroughly enjoying them after a couple weeks of heavy use.
Really in love with the design and color scheme. These are really comfortable and have a certain mystique because it looks great for casual or for running purposes. I am starting to dig the boost technology. Hire me Adidas? Would love to work at adidas
My second time to wear an adi shoe. Well I have to say it has great traction. Also boots is Awesome. However, the forefoot is extremely terrible. No adiprene+. No response. No cushion. I don't suggest big guys choose this one.
This pair of running shoes came as a surprise for me. Soles were completely different in color: one green, the other one, pink! Still I think that is quite original and unique. I love it. +++ Very comfortable and fit perfectly. WOW !!!
This show is very nice all around. It has good grip and good material for breathablilty. The one thing I would change is the half connected tongue to the shoe. I do not know what purpose it serves and it gets in the way when you try to tie the shoe. I think it's not necessary and is stupid. In the future I would recommend going with a detached tongue like a normal shoe. It looks better. It doesn't get in the way of laces. The half connected tongue is quiet pointless.
After pulling these shoes out of the box, I fell in love. The Primeknit upper is super soft and breathable. The first time i held them, there was some glue on them but that may have just been mine. Boost is insanely comfortable in the back but not much cushion in the forefoot but enough. What i loved most was the design. With every pair of Adidas kicks I get, the design is usually the downfall but these shoes have it all. I always role with Adidas and I know with these shoes, are by far the best basketball shoes out there, for Adidas. Totally a great buy from my point of view. Hope this helped!
Reviews were hyping this shoe up and it fell short for me. I think I'm not heavy enough or not dependent on my heel so I can't really feel or use the boost when I'm jumping for rebounds. However, primeknit is good and so is the heal counter. Pricing is decent though, I got mine on sale and that should be the same for everyone else. Hoping they copy the rose 6's full length boost and everything else relatively the same next year but still keep a reasonable price. Remember to break these in.
Great running shoes, maybe some other sports but not basketball. I do really like those, very comfortable and breathable, while running/ walking. I would only recommend those for the above and not basketball. I would risk hooping in those.
They are comfortable when walking around. Unfortunately, there was not enough cushion in the forefoot for me to play basketball in them. The adiprene+ in the forefoot was an improvement from last year's crazy light, BUT still not enough for me personally. The boost in the heel felt great. I would recommend replacing the standard thin insole with a thicker insole. Without a new thicker insole, the forefoot is quite roomy. Additionally, the outsole is not that durable, so I recommend these for indoor basketball only. Since they are still aesthetically pleasing, so I will continue to wear mine casually.
I purchased these for table tennis at my local club. We play on wooden floors. I was previously using running shoes (boston 3) which make me feel very light and agile, but was lacking the support in lateral movements and the continental soles on the bostons constantly needed a dab on a wet rag to retain grip. Given the name 'crazylight', I thought these were going to be close to the weight of the bostons w/ more stability. The stability was excellent, even with alittle more room in toe area, my heals felt like they were cup'd which supported good form when I squat and lunge forward from my heals to avoid knee injuries. Unfortunately they were not what I was looking for and they were returned. I possibly could have used a .5 size smaller but I was positive I would not have been happy with the weight. I should have kept them for casual shoes but found actual table tennis shoes from adidas on ebay. Overall i'm sure the shoe is great for basketball which it was designed for. Thank you adidas for accepting my return, even though I played in them. I hope to see more table tennis products in the US online store.
Nice and tight from the ankle to the instep with a quite loose fit on the toes. Very breathable; The boost on the heel works really well to dampen your hops; and great traction. I can't stress this enough, but this shoes is really comfortable! And I almost forgot: It looks good!
I have read several reviews that state that these shoes fall apart easily and for me that could not be farther from the truth. I bought my first pair on a whim from the adidas outlet store as I was beginning to train for a marathon. I put over 100 miles on the first pair and them bought a second so that I could rotate them, thats how much I loved them. I have run on pavement, gravel, sand, and volcanic desert (in Aruba) and they still have most of the soles on both pairs. I never imagined that I would love these as much as I do, nor that they would hold up as well as they have. Despite how tough they are, I still think my favorite part of these shoes is that they have a very soft heel section. Class pair of shoes, adidas...now send me a free pair for the best review you have ever had. Regardless, I am buying a new pair next week.
The Crazy Light Boost is a amazing show.Prime Knit Woven upper with out any glue or fuse backing it straight prime knit.Which is definitely a plus very free feeling but locks your foot down when you're making those hard cuts or direction changes.Adidas also really opened up the ventilation which no other brand at least I have used have done so far.The boost cushioning in the heel is great except for the Adi Preme it takes a little time to break in and you can definitely tell a difference between the Heel and the fore foot. The only real downside of the crazy light boost 2015 is the traction and the dead space in the toe box.The traction is kind of a blade heringbone type patter and it just doesn't perform as well as I thought it would. The dead space in the toe box is very significant.the space from my toes to the toe box is just weird to me. My toe has space from touching the very top of the shoe but the toe box doesn't form to my foot like a woven upper should be. So it would be cool to fix these problems in the 2016 Crazy Light Boost and we have a solid shoe. But overall the Crazy Light Boost is a amazing shoe price point at 130$ is a great deal comparing to other brands signature models and they play just or even better. If you can try these on in store
